I am planning on buying HC1800 and 5 HC600s soon. I want to use Knukonceptz Konfused battery terminals on these batteries but it appears that Kinetik's battery posts are for ring terminals only. So... while i was surfing, i found this- http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8425_K...P+-KHC-TP-.html So, if i buy those, all i have to do is unscrew the ones off of the batts, put these on and that's it, right?

  4. A really nice kid that comes to my town once in a while to check out my van build has a school dance coming up and wants to borrow one of my EP4000s to run off his old receiver that has no crossover. He's running a car audio sub, I think it's a 15" Shocker Sig I'll make sure tomorrow, probably in a car audio box built to spec, going to guess 4-6 cubes tuned around 33Hz...I'll verify that as well. I trust the guy and he's really cool, but I don't ever move my amps...I dont ever fiddle with them...I dont want anything happening to them. My girlfriend, her son, and I use the stereo round the clock. I'd really like to come up with a VERY cheap alternative if possible and try …

so im back, still trying to understand this whole audio thing lol. havnt had much time to look into it but i had an ohm question i thought i might be able to get a easy to understand answer of... basicly from what ive been reading and such, unless im mistaken which is why im asking here, a 1 ohm amp goes to a 2 ohm sub and a 2 ohm amp will go to a 4 ohm sub? and is there some sort of converter that allows you to go 1 ohm to converter to a 4 ohm sub? or have i just confused everyone and should keep reading lol?

I only have a 60 amp alt. and i was wonder if it's okay to put a second battery in the back of my car like a kinetik hc 1800, will it be able to charge my stock battery and the second bigger battery in the back? i'm just running 1000w rms. i'm thinking of a second battery because i'm planning to get a new car next year, so a second battery will be easier to transfer to the new car, then a bigger alt.

Well my trunk latch has failed, my license plate has fallen off and the back driver side door lock has stopped working sense I put in my system but.... I downloaded and cranked to the max, banged that at least three times in a row for some friends / spectators and I noticed after that the dust cap wasn't even warm. Now I take it this is a good thing (signal isnt being clipped) except does that mean I can be pushing that speaker harder? If so what should I try and do? I have my gain pretty high, my SSF is set to 30hz (box is tuned at 32hz and it just happens to be right where that song peaks for my car) and I am looking for more ideas.. thanks!

Hey guys, i need help and some kind of solution in securing my box in the trunk. its a premade JL audio box called a powerwedge, so the box is shaped...like a wedge in the back! The problem is the design of my trunk, since it has "bumps" on the sides, making it so the box wont fit directly straight in. Think of the box sitting on a slight decline, like a car going down a steep hill. The problem with this is that the box has already fallen over frontwards because a lot of the weight is sitting right in the front, and i dont want to damage the subwoofers (2 12" FI Q). I've already propped the front part of the box with 8 mini carpets, but i'm afraid that will only work as a…

Im looking to do a set up for a 2002 honda accord 4 door. Im willing to take in all advice to how i should go about it. Im interested in getting the Fi Audio SP4 but open to suggestions. Thinking about powering it with a crescendo amp possibly. I also want the set up to sound as clean and clear as possible. It will be a daily driver set up with the possibility of some local spl contests. Let me know what you think or what you have done.

  15. Ok i know the kicker amp shouldnt do 1 ohm, but i have been doing some reading and they say it can be ran at 1 ohm. When i say they i mean other users of this amp online. I did hook it up at 1 ohm and it did fine until i turned up the gain and bass boost. But with the cadence amp it runs fine no problems. It doesnt even get hot. So what i would like to know is should i run my kicker at 1 ohm, and play with fire. Or should i play it safe and run the cadence? out of the 2 amps which would give the best sound? and how is cadence as a amp i never had one before?

Recently got a new car and i'm going to have this one for a long time. So i'm looking for a nice headunit. I've been looking into the double din types e.g. the pioneer D3, or Z2. Or the panasonic Strada. or whatever. I'm leaning more towards the pioneers because i can get them for cheap. Or possibly a JVC only problem is the jvc doesn't have navigation like the rest. Any suggestions guys??

I am still running factory 6x8 speakers in my car and I am looking to upgrade them but would like some suggestions on brand. My sub stage will be someday be two 12" 1-1.5k watt subwoofers and I dont want to go cheap on the speakers. Definitely want component speakers in the front and either identical components in the back or 2 way speakers. I would like something that gets loud and clear and would to keep the total price of the speakers and 4 channel amp to run them under $800. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

He's such full of it, lol He's preeching to my class about how people these days do things wrong, such as. It is just as efficient to run one battery, and a crap load of alternators would be more sufficient then to have more batterys and 2-3 bigger alts. Probably true, but then he's talking how you can't be supplying your amps with just battery's of the amount of power it's rated to do, saying that they'll die within seconds, we all know it could happen, but cmonnn.
