I am thinking about buying my new Pioneer Premier DEH-800PRS and iPod adapter from www.wooferetc.com Total would be $475 shipped. I was wondering if anyone has been screwed over by them? And if so, how and what happened? If I don't buy it from there for $399, I would buy it from a local store for $479...... I would rather buy from wooferetc.com, as long as it's a legit site. They claim to be BBB, and a AAA rated site.

I decided to give my mom a very short preview of my 2 mojo 15's on my saz3000d. This is not the best reaction video because she has heard many of my previous setups. However, it is funny every time. The cheap camera does not capture the cleanness of the bass. It just sounds like truck rattle. Anyways enjoy.

He's such full of it, lol He's preeching to my class about how people these days do things wrong, such as. It is just as efficient to run one battery, and a crap load of alternators would be more sufficient then to have more batterys and 2-3 bigger alts. Probably true, but then he's talking how you can't be supplying your amps with just battery's of the amount of power it's rated to do, saying that they'll die within seconds, we all know it could happen, but cmonnn.

  4. As the topic title says. I need to custom build a set of RCA cables. I currently am running a TON of Y connectors to get the job done so I want to swap and only have to run one cable that has all the ends I need already soldered inplace. it'd be a 1-in 6 (or 8) out cable My current deck only has one preout-mono sub (with one rca only not a pair) I may split it at a line driver then run a 2-8 cable instead of the 1-8. So far I don't have voltage issues but I'm afraid if I keep Y'ing it off the voltage will become very weak at the amps. So if anyone knows af somewhere cheap and decent to get parts let me know.. I need to get these built ASAP... I think my local radiosh…

Well my trunk latch has failed, my license plate has fallen off and the back driver side door lock has stopped working sense I put in my system but.... I downloaded and cranked to the max, banged that at least three times in a row for some friends / spectators and I noticed after that the dust cap wasn't even warm. Now I take it this is a good thing (signal isnt being clipped) except does that mean I can be pushing that speaker harder? If so what should I try and do? I have my gain pretty high, my SSF is set to 30hz (box is tuned at 32hz and it just happens to be right where that song peaks for my car) and I am looking for more ideas.. thanks!

Hey guys, i need help and some kind of solution in securing my box in the trunk. its a premade JL audio box called a powerwedge, so the box is shaped...like a wedge in the back! The problem is the design of my trunk, since it has "bumps" on the sides, making it so the box wont fit directly straight in. Think of the box sitting on a slight decline, like a car going down a steep hill. The problem with this is that the box has already fallen over frontwards because a lot of the weight is sitting right in the front, and i dont want to damage the subwoofers (2 12" FI Q). I've already propped the front part of the box with 8 mini carpets, but i'm afraid that will only work as a…

  13. Alright, got my batteries, subs, sub amps, wires, terminal rings, HU, and crossover all figured out. Already have my highs/mids/amps. Working on an HT as well, looking to go surround 6.1 or 7.1 with 21" Maelstrom-X's as well, MTM with Kevin's Anarchy cheap tweet crossover. May get an HDTV... So, I want to be able to hook my laptop to my HU if I so desire, as well as to my HDTV to watch online on the HDTV. Will I need a special sound card? What kind of connector, as I believe the PXA-H701 will use up the optical cable/connector and the Ai-Net cable/connector. So far: 6 Shuriken BT-80's 4 Hifonics BXi2610D's Alpine W200 Alpine PXA-H701 HO alt TBD Already have: 4 Adire Aud…

Both these subs are put in ported boxes made specifically to standars and hooked up to a saz-1000d. Which one is audibly louder?

My buddy drives a '00 frontier with a jvc head unit with aux. His 6 3/4" door speakers are blown so they are disconnected and the only speakers he had were the stock tweeters in the door. He got in the truck and no sound was coming from the tweeters. Tried CD player, aux, radio and nothing. Were thinking the tweeters could have taken a dump or the head unit is poop, or maybe a loose connection somewhere? What could this be?

What do I have to consider about the box design and sub placement and bracing to have the ports on the rear of the box? The reason I ask cause subs would be side and there wouldnt be too much room for the ports if they went next to the outsides of the subs in my trunk. Also are there any benefits to a single chamber push pull ported box? Downsides? What if in the same box, the speakers are on opposite planes- one in back, one in front? I cant find ANYTHING like this on this on google and want to know why.

planning on purchasing the Q1-1200D and running a FI Q12 at 1 ohm producing 1200watts. If I were to switch the FI Q12 for say an SSA Gcon 12 rated at 750rms and running the Q1-1200D at 2 ohms producing 870watts would the response/SQ etc. be different ? What I'm really wondering is stressing the amp at 1 ohm pushing the Q12 produce not as good clear/SQ/responsive bass then running it at 2ohms with a Gcon 12? Or for comparing purposes say the ICON 12 with Q1-1200D at 1 ohm vs the GCON 12 with Q1 at 2 ohms produce a different sound ? I'm not asking for SPL/LOUD but a difference in sound clarity/response etc. in the bass. I hope my question is clear LOL. My main goal is …

Ok, call me retarted. Good news : The jl w7 8's sound amazing, can't wait for the sundown amp to really give them what they need. It's all installed and the sealed box sounds greaT! Bad News : I had to run RCA cables outside the car to test my setup. I can't figure out how to take off the dash to wire my rca's. The remote wire was already in the car which made it easy to do. The car - 1992 Bmw 318i Sedan 4 door. Any ideas? I searched and took off all visible screws but no budge, am I missing something?
