Sub is coming in today, really stoked. Bought a box, had it made to the smaller Icon 15" dimensions provided by SSA, but it was too big. Now according to the measurements I made, I thought the box was fitting.... wrong. It was a little off, and that made a big difference. Now I'm getting another box made for the IA Lethal Injection 15" and would like to know of anybody who has had experience with the Charger. If anyone has had a box in their Charger, how big was it? Any kind of help would be sick, I would make a mock box but I'm short on time and have no cardboard at the moment.

I want to order all my new equipment today or tomorrow but i wanted to make sure it will all fit and hookup properly i have a few questions if you knew just quick answers to any that would help alot. Setup: (2) 15" FI BL (2) Saz1500 (1) 1 trunk battery (suggestions would be great) Here's the questions... - I can only fit around 7.3 cubes before displacement so it'll come down to just under 7cubes.. This should be enough airspace since its within the recommendations of FI 3-4cubes each. It was between posting on here or in home audio but i just decided to post here.... my older brother has a Sony WM500 subwoofer that he bought a couple years back and does not use it so I decided to start a fun, little, "screw around" project. ok so im running a interstate 625 right now cause my yellowtop crapped out on me for the second time and wont be available for another month cause i think the ones for the honda/acura had a defect with the cells...anways is there anyother batteries that i could get that would be better then that intersate that i have now??.....the space i have to work with for now is 9in length and 5in wide.....or maybe i should just see about that 130amp alternator that i was looking at instead of the 70amp one i have now...hmmmm??

I am planning on purchasing an Audioque HDC3 18", and I'm knowing I'm going to need to do some electrical upgrading. I currently own a 2005 civic coupe, but plan on later moving this to a dodge magnum. After my last install I learned the hard way to not be into so much of a rush and take care of some electrical upgrades first. What supplies is needed for " THE BIG THREE" and I would prefer to start off with buying batteries before I have to go all out for the alternator, knowing of course I will also need new wiring. Which brands should I be looking into as far as wiring and other needs. I believe the HDC3 18" is pretty efficient , don't want to go overpower it too too…

Ok i know the kicker amp shouldnt do 1 ohm, but i have been doing some reading and they say it can be ran at 1 ohm. When i say they i mean other users of this amp online. I did hook it up at 1 ohm and it did fine until i turned up the gain and bass boost. But with the cadence amp it runs fine no problems. It doesnt even get hot. So what i would like to know is should i run my kicker at 1 ohm, and play with fire. Or should i play it safe and run the cadence? out of the 2 amps which would give the best sound? and how is cadence as a amp i never had one before?

I have the MB PVF 213's in kick panels, and want to install these in my door. It says to run wires through the 213's first then out to the 164's. Each has it's own cross over so why would you do this? I'm running them off a RF T600-4 4 channel amp. I thought you would just run the 213's off front channel , then run rear channel to the 164's and you would be good. Then set my cross over's on my RF 3sixty.2 to HP on front , get it were I want it at, then set the BP on rear where I want it at and it would be good to go. What am I missing? What would be good settings for the cross over points to start with? Thanks

Okay well i got into car audio about 6 months ago. I recently purchased 2 Diamond D1 12's, a 2 farad 2000 watt capacitor, and Memphis pr 100.2. I have all of the above installed in the back of my girlfriends explorer because im getting all new stuff for my car in December, this was kind of a test type install. I installed everything myself. I am trying to get me an enclosure for two 12" Icons, However I would like to put a few small changes to the box to make it look a little better than the "average box", but I need a little help. How do you Flare your port? If I put a plexiglass window on top, would that affect the sound at all, and how do you put a plexiglass window on a box without breaking the plexiglass? What type of paint is the best to use on MDF, for the flared port? Would it be better to have the rectangular port, round port, or will it not really make a difference? So I have now went through 2 sets of Focal components. First went one of my tweets, so I replaced both (upgraded to newer version). then went one of my door woofers several weeks later(again replaced them and upgraded to a newer version as well as newer crossovers.) So now im going to start a anti-focal epidemic in my car. I currently have an alpine fully ipod deck the IDA-X001 or something. (the first version) and am running a Alpine PDX 300.2 with a Rockford Fosgate 360.1 sound processor. What do you recommend for the next set? and Any suggestion or is it just bad luck with focal? The leads keep burning off and you can smell them so idk if I need something a bit beafier…

Hey guys, I was originally thinking I was going to go with 2 FI Q 10" or Icons, but moneys tight as many of you would agree. So ive decided 1 FI BL 15" would be better, going to be running off a SAE 1200. 1 thing im wondering is if I would have enough enclosure for the sub. I ran some numbers and I can get 15h X 32w X 12d without sacrificing much of my trunk which i think turns out to be around 3.4 ft. What im wondering is if that would be enough space, or if I should get a little more like 3.5 after displacement and port. Could someone also explain to me about the significance of port area. Im guessing the larger port the louder? Or the more air moves?
