alright guys well i think my stock civic door speakers finally had enough of my abuse. They are 5 1/4iches, my door panel is really shallow on my civic so im kinda limited on what i can stick in there. also when i first got my honda the speakers sounded like crap and hardly got loud. Once i put in my new h/u they sounded 10x better and got really loud, so im pron going to not use an amp for now as i dont think i need one. So i need some nice pretty shallow speakers maybe no more depth then 2 1/4 inches. What would you gets recommend that around 25-35 wrms that sound nice and get loud. Anything will be takin into account. Thanks guys

does anyone know where i can find a positive ring terminal that can fit all those extra o ring terminals going into my positve side my nissan comes with? i dont want to cut them i just want to know if there is a terminal out there that can match it.. ive been looking around at scorpion stinger but havent had any luck yet.. anyone know of anything that matches this?? one of the conections seems to be power and the other has fuses on it.. here is a pic

how do they compare, my buddy has 2 15inch re se and he wants something louder, so i was looking at the ssd's do you think they would be just generaly louder?

I have a 94 camaro and I am currently running an old school Memphis 500 D amp to a single P3 in a 2.3 cubic ft sealed box. Obviously space is my limit. I am looking to get my hands on one of the MD2D US Amps. I cant decide if I wanna add another P3 and run two 12" or upgrade my sub to one kick ass 12. If I do so I would like to keep the same box I have. I am after some deep bass, something that can take your breath away. Also, what is your thought on a ported or slot vent box in a camaro? I have heard both good and bad. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there, okay so i had one big question and that was when tuning a ported box and i also wanted to know how to come up with the enclose spaces for a bandpass box thank you for all the help i recieve

I know someone that doesn't know much about audio and box tuning and such but managed to build a pretty good sub system. He had 2 10's and built the box like this, his words, " I built a box, drilled a hole, and stuck the pipe in." It was a flared aero port 3 or 4 inches diameter, not sure. It was in a chevy tahoe and sounded good and got pretty loud too that lucky sob. Does anyone else know someone who got lucky?

my good friend has a 02 volvo s60... and he called me stating that he blew his door speakers... and from what i can find... the front doors only have tweeters... and in the back doors it has 6.5s and the back deck holds 6.35's so my question is... anyone been balls deep in these front doors?

i was told there was a video online of an explorer with 4 18s ... i wanted to view this because i drive an aviator which is basically lincoln's version ... i wanted to reference how he made the wall as i plan on building a wall hopefully in mine ... i dont think he did a straight wall because there isnt enough height to stack 2 straight up ... if anyone has any information please let me know thanks

I worked this past weekend. Drove to the track and parked my car on friday afternoon. I went to leave tonight and when I would turn up volume to my normal listening level the red light would come on and my sub would not work. When I parked my car on friday everything was working correctly. Any thoughts why this would happen? We did get some pretty hard rains but I have had no issues with this previously. I have been running this set up since january. I have not had the chance to check voltages yet but any direction to why the sudden change. My current battery is just the standard car battery I purchased from sears in december. Just confused.

Both Tweeters blew off a sundown 100.4. Gain was half way. 12 db slope. Volume 40/60. Wtf?

Just bought this truck and was putting a aftermarket HU in with the scosche interface and have it all wired and everything working radio, chimes, delayed power off. But the anti theft light flashes when I start the truck and stays on while im driving. Hope the experts here can help, I have some OZ ME380CS component speakers that I am looking to install in my summer cruiser. Iis a 72 Cutlass, so along with the comps and sub I plan on adding some sound deadinig. I recently came across a Punch 600a5 for a reasonable price so I scooped it up. I thought about doing a sub on the single channel and the comps on the other 4. I guess I'm wondering what the opinions are on the use of 5 channel amps vs. 4ch and a mono? If the 5ch would be a good option, what would be the best setup considering it the components are crossovers, mid range and mid bass both 4ohm and 6ohm tweeter? so im going to be buying 2 Fi bl's 12". im thinking 2.5 cubes per a sub since there gonna be runnin off a single aq2200d amp. so what should i do about the port. im thinking around 70 sq" of port which would be 4.6 inches wide. what are ur suggestions for a box that would run this set up well?
