Hey guys recently i've got my new equipments which consist of US Amps/RE Audio 2x US Amps MD21 2x US Amps MD-3D 4x RE 6.5Comp Set 4x RE SX 12" Dual 4ohms As for electrical I'm planning a 250 or 300a Ohio Gen and for Batteries 1x Power Master D5100R under the hood and 2x Power Master D3100 in the back close the the amps.( the amps and batts will be at each side of the trunk) Now I was wonder which would be the best way to wired the amps and the batteries, plan A or B? plan A. first i was thinking to put each MD-3D on each Power Master D3100 and 2x 1/0 awg wire for each battery (from front to the back), and the two MD-21 hooked up to the front battery (the Power Master D5…

I am trying to get me an enclosure for two 12" Icons, However I would like to put a few small changes to the box to make it look a little better than the "average box", but I need a little help. How do you Flare your port? If I put a plexiglass window on top, would that affect the sound at all, and how do you put a plexiglass window on a box without breaking the plexiglass? What type of paint is the best to use on MDF, for the flared port? Would it be better to have the rectangular port, round port, or will it not really make a difference? And where is the cheapest place to buy carpeting? Cheapest I found locally was $7 a foot. Also depending on price I might even be inte…

I have 1 crescendo 5500 @ 1 ohm on 2 18 sp4s box is 6.5 cub per 18 with 170 inch of square port! 18s are fully loaded. Pioneer deh80prs,4 rockford fosgate 5 1/4 and us 600 pushing them. 320 mech. Alt. 1 xs 3100 up front and 2 3400 in back of honda odyssey van. All 0 gauge cable. Never has it metered, but want more for comp. My question is this what about 1 more 18 with a wall and have amp wired to 1/2 ohm ( for comp) with some dynamat, or two more 18s? Either way will be just the one 5500 cresendo running subs. And how much diffrence do you think would be either way?

I have the MB PVF 213's in kick panels, and want to install these in my door. It says to run wires through the 213's first then out to the 164's. Each has it's own cross over so why would you do this? I'm running them off a RF T600-4 4 channel amp. I thought you would just run the 213's off front channel , then run rear channel to the 164's and you would be good. Then set my cross over's on my RF 3sixty.2 to HP on front , get it were I want it at, then set the BP on rear where I want it at and it would be good to go. What am I missing? What would be good settings for the cross over points to start with? Thanks

how do they compare, my buddy has 2 15inch re se and he wants something louder, so i was looking at the ssd's do you think they would be just generaly louder?

does anyone know where i can find a positive ring terminal that can fit all those extra o ring terminals going into my positve side my nissan comes with? i dont want to cut them i just want to know if there is a terminal out there that can match it.. ive been looking around at scorpion stinger but havent had any luck yet.. anyone know of anything that matches this?? one of the conections seems to be power and the other has fuses on it.. here is a pic

Best friend wants to upgrade his system on his 1999 Jeep Cherokee. $1000 Budget for front comps, subwoofer and box, big 3, door sound deadening, 2 channel, and mono amp. Currently has a headunit. Older alpine not exactly sure right now but i will find out. Not sure if it could run active and i know he wants to keep it simple. Loves House music and also listens to Rap and Rock. im about to build a box since the pre fab one i bought sucks. the spec sheet that came with the sub says the enclosure's external dimensions are 12.5 x 14.5 x 17.25 so would it be 14.5 length 17.25 depth and 12.5 tall? the vent area says 11 in^2(11 x 1) does that mean its 11in tall and 1in wide? the port length says 22 so does that mean that the port would look like a L with a 1 inch space from the wall?

The wiring inside an enclosure from one sub to the other can be slack right? Will it produce any noise or move around when the subs are playing? Thanks
