Wasn't sure where to put this, so admin feel free to move. I keep hearing about Decaf and some zip files and that its really low tuned music. Could someone point me in the right direction? Where do I find it, what do I use to download it? is the quality good?

Putting out some feelers for shops in West Texas that do honest, quality work. Specifically, rear seat entertainment. Primarily in Lubbock, but Amarillo would work too. Failing that, Abilene? DFW? Austin? San Antonio?

In my searches for raw drivers I came across Renaudio. Everything looks good on paper so I was considering looking into giving them a try. Has anyone ever used their drivers before? Any thoughts or opinions on their quality, sound, or customer service?

So I reciently purchased a sundown SAZ-2500d v.2 form SSA and am a little stumped on wiring. I will be running a RE Audio xxx 15'' dual 2 ohm at 1 ohm. The amp has two positive and two nagative inputs, can I use both? Want to get the best power out of this as possable.

Kinda in a dellema ATM. So my 2 front speakers blew the other day (jbl got 628's 2-ways) so I put the factory ones back in until I figure out what to do. Thing is I got em from best buy and they no longer carry any car audio (in Canada anyways) so they sent me to future shop for a replacement (I bought a warranty so I get a free swap). Annddd future shop doesn't carry those speakers butt they can swap them for something else. So I'm not really sure what to do. ok so im going to have to fi bl 15s and im going to have them on a crescendo bc3500 and was wondering about the wiring. so for one sub i would have - to - and one - going out. then + to + and + out too and then the same for the other sub. and the amp has two +'s and two -'s and i put the wires from one sub into the + and - beside each other and the same for the other sub is that a 2 ohm load? sorry if its confusing tried explaining it the best i could.

Made a MASSIVE school boy error today and bought one of these along with an alpine 12 disc changer..... I didn't realise this was a cassette receiver as the model number wasn't in the Ad, all the info I had was it was 4x60 watts and I stupidly assumed it was one of the higher end alpines even if it was old!! Right now I'm talking to my dad about a system for our boat. We have a Yamaha AR230. He wants a whole new system. He wants new speakers to fill the orginal spots. Then he wants bass. He was looking at JL audio, but I told him not to get that, because it's too expensive for what he wants. I don't think he would really tell the difference between JL and something else. I want to get him some subs and amps from the VVME website. I know they're not the best subs, but they're cheap and will get the job done for what he wants. So I had an old friend stop by and he knew I was a fan of bass, and he hasn't heard my subs yet but offered to show me his. So he told me they were kickers, so I was already not impressed haha. So when I actually listened to these 12in kickers in a prefab ported box on a 300w rockford amp, I was pretty surprised. Ive never heard or seen these specific kicker subs before, and they were much louder then I expected. must be new? So I'm trying to do the big three and I'm looking for some battery distribution blocks that will fit on my battery posts for 1/0 gauge. I think i need 4 total holes. 1 for my alt to my positive, 1 for my battery ground, 1 for my power wire, and 1 for my negative. anyone know where i can get some for less that $80 all together?

Sealed my box with resin, waited 5 days before I mounted my sub and put the box in my trunk, got in the car the next day and could smell the resin. It wasn't super strong but I could definitely smell it. can the fumes damage my sub? Is the fact that I can still smell it a sign I didn't mix the resin and hardener correctly? It has been cold lately so maybe it isn't curing properly? Should I be concerned?

I have a 12" FI BTL with the UfO motor that needs to be reconed. Who makes the best recone kit for it, I currently only know of FI and PSI recone kits but I'm not sure what one is better. Okay so I have two D1 XCONs that were both purchased used. One of them reads .07-.08 on both coils, and the other reads 1.0-1.1 on both coils. Both subs sound fine when they are used alone, but once I wire them together it sounds way quieter, and seems like one is canceling the other out. Could this be because they are getting different amounts of power? I've been troubleshooting and am really getting frustrated. I've triple checked the wiring, I've swapped RCAs, amps, and HU pre outs. I finally decided to wire one in my 4.5 cube shared chamber enclosure to 2 ohms and bam the difference was night and day louder. I switched to the other sub and it was just as loud. Wire th…

i need help i will be adding my old subwoofer to my other subs and was wonder if i can wire a single voice coil sub with a dual voice coil. the single voice coil is 4 ohms and the dual is a dual 4ohms but idk how to wire it either in series or parellel

I have an issue with my system setup, basically that there isn't much bass over the factory premium audio system. It's a long post so bear with me. I'm basically wanting to compare frequency response curves of subs, and I'm wondering if people feel Winisd Alpha is a legit way to do that? I believe the program calls it "transfer function magnitude". The program also has a "spl" field that I also wonder about. Thanks.

im very new to car audio. my problem lies with when my volume of the HU is all the way to zero and i go to my subs there is a faint noise its hard to explain well it's kinda like a hum or a buzz but very quite i tried the ground loop fix by grounding my rca's to the HU and that helped a bit since the noise was louder before and that got rid of it then i found a better bolt for my amp ground so it was more secure and that did not help. so idk what could be the problem. my setup with the problem HU: pioner DEH x3500ui subwoofer: one kenwood kfc w3013ps other sub is unknown i was told from the seller it was an older kenwood but im thinking it is a home thearter subwoofer. …
