I have a 15in fi q that I love but i want more bass. Im running 1500 rms and i dont want to change my amp just my subs. Im looking at the sundown sa 12. I would be getting a pair and making another custom ported box. Ya or Nay?

I need help figuring out why there isn't any sound coming from my subs. I found out that there is a rubber piece missing on the inside of the terminals on my amp. Could this be why im not getting any sound and if so what should I do?

My alt charges at 14.4 Have a batt bank, and stays above 13v whith hard bass hits. After a while my subs loose "thump" I still have some bass I'll turn the volume down and it comes right back. I have my gain set to 7 at 28 volts well below max output. Brand new T1000-4ad running two P3's.

I am having major issues with my rear doors opening about 3/4 inch every time my bass hits. It's actually starting to dent the jams and chip the paint. On top of that it is loud and I can't figure out a way to solve this issue since I need the doors to remain functional. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.

So I'm going to attempt to make a false floor in my scion xb. Back there now there is a storage compartment type thing above the spare tire. I'm going to try to make a tray for my amp to sit in. Its a Saz-1000d. Here's my question. I'm going to put some fans in so that I can put the false floor over the amp. Will this have sufficient airflow? Maybe like 2 120 mm fans on each side, 2 pushing and 2 pulling. Will this be a problem?

So i have the old surround coil and spider out, i just need to finish cleaning up the old glue. I dont have aside grinder though like everyone says to use, is there another alternative? something else i could use my recone kit form PAP should be here sometime next week and i just want to make sure everything is cleaned up and ready to go for when it gets here. Hey I’m thinking bout buying 300’ of sky high 14 gauge speaker wire. Will it be good enough to use as wiring for my speakers. Up to 300 watts would be going through it. I just rather get a bunch of wires so I don’t need to keep buying if I ever run out from batches. I’ve had 12 gauge but for some speakers with push terminals it’s too big. The 14 fits fine so I’m thinking it’ll be fine. Could I get some feed back

Been a minute but I figured I'd ask. Due to a fire at my buddy of 20+ years stereo shop I got a few things out from helping him clean up (head unit and subs) All of which for the wife's truck. It will be using a pioneer 210ex for the head unit, not installed yet, but need to upgrade the front door speakers. My question is would the evils do alright off of the head unit alone? Or should I look at putting them on an amp. Possibly a set of tweeters also. But main focus is on front doors.

I've been in the subwoofer game since I was 17 and I'm 27 now. I have never managed to figure out how to get a subwoofer to really KICK for rock/metal, it only seems to be hip hop or techno music that makes a subwoofer noticeable. My questions are: 1. Is this more related to the production of rock/metal albums? 2. Do I just need to throw more power at my system? I'm only using an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 in a sealed 1.25 cube box right now with an older Sony XM3001SXD amp(600w @ 2ohm). 3. Do you know a trick I don't?

Hello, so I have a dodge charger Srt with the Boston setup. I took the kicker sub outta the trunk and put in my Fi BL. When I get home from this deployment I'm looking at changing all of my inside speakers. I'm look for sound quality. The bass is there, but I want the inside to be very clean! Help me choose my setup. I'll go with 6.5s in the front door and 6x9s in the back dash. What brand and models and amp do you recommend. I'd like to get it done under $1k but that's flexible. Do you think I should add more tweeters, there is only one set in the factory setup. I'm keeping my factory NAV. And I'm looking at a JL clean sweep or Rockford Fosgate 360.. All options are welc…

hi i have had the pg xenon 600.1 on my previous sub setup which was ran at one ohm but i have recent sold that sub and bought a dc sound lab lvl 4 xl 15 which is dual 1.4 ohms i tried wiring it in series to a 2.8 ohm load and it didnt seem like the amp was putting out hardly any power so i was wondering if i wired everything in parallel to get a .7 ohm load would that be safe for the amp. i plan on checking everything again in the morning to see if i can get it to sound right at 2.8 ohms . but if not do u think the amp will be safe at .7 its just for daily driving no competitions or anything
