I have some questions, hope I can get help. Where can I buy 2/0 AWG wire? Whats a good brand? model? Does 2/0 gauge really make a difference over Zero (1/0) gauge? Is anything thicker (3/0, 4/0) than 2/0 overkill and waste of space? Thanks

So I just finished making my box its 5.0 cubic ft after displacement. I have 0 guage coming on monday but I am currently running 4 guage and don't have my extra battery and big 3 done yet. I am playing my sub and playing it reasonably loud. Will this be fine if I play it for a week till I get the 0 guage and the extra battery wired up??? I have an 05 denali and my lights are dimming when stereo is turned up.

DL/Buy a good quality version of it. You might have to turn up your bass a little bit, or since the song is pretty light, your overall volume. BEWARE: I believe it's around 4:48, the song does a killer low note, then all the sudden the bass amplifies after it so get ready to turn it down or your amp is going to clip severely.

im looking to build a custom box for an impala. i havent built one before so i was wondering how do i tune the box and what dimensions should i use for two 15 inch sundown nightshades? also what tools do i need to build the box and what tools are required for clamping your amp?

A year or two ago I had a box made by the local shop, I asked them to build it the specs of IA for the LI 15 but I'm doubtful they did so? The port looked and always seemed too small, it doesn't have any L shap as far as the port goes its just straight back and seems too slim...how would I measure the port to see the tuning and determine the total cubic feet? Also by first glance, does anyone think something is wrong here with the port....when I see most other builds by specs they all look a lot bigger...shady shops, only in it for the money smh.. Hello to my car audio friends this it my first time posting.. i have a burning question. I want to put 2 15" in my ride and i want to give it the most space as possible. The problem is i have read subs up port back is the best application but i could only get the most out of it with subs up port up... how much would i be missing out on both the meter and ear by doing subs up port up?.. is it a big no no in the car audio world to use such application? thanks for the help in advance..

Iv basically heard two opposite ends of the spectrum on this one, Iv seen multiple posts saying that PSI is awful, and then many post saying that PSI is great. Im terribly confused. If you have some experience with PSI or PSI recones id like to get the actual answer just in case I end up dealing with them sometime in the future.

So i have started my modified SQ build with a solid front stage going active with an alpine 9887 and mach5 mlis and seas neos all deadened with second skin and now i need a sub stage but i have no idea what to use. I want maybe 2 10s or 1 15 because i would like it to get decently loud but be tight . I listen to rock and rap. I also need another amp somewhere in the 600 watts rms range but im not sure what is good for relatively cheap. Justin has went to EVERY show, and has gained alot of King of Bass points making him the champion. With each entry he has also gained the most entries to the free SMD subwoofer, thus winning him the SMD woofer in the draw at the end of the show. EDIT for the thing that is to small is called ring terminal i need a bigger one So i finally got the mofo through the firewall, damn was that a pain in the ol geezer Now my fuse cable the end with the metal attachment for a bolt wont fit because the hole is to small. Hello all, as mentioned in my newbie intro I made my way here on recommendation while searching for a solution to add some bass to my 2010 Camaro. I just installed 8 brand new cadence comp. speakers, took out the factory speakers. I wanna blow them up, can someone tell me how. I heard that hooking them in 120 volts (regular outlet) will do the trick. Is there an easier way, or another better way? I'm in the market for a new ride. Wanting to spend $20K or less. It must be 4 or 6 cyl. (not 8 because of high gas prices). I prefer Honda, Nissan, Toyota & Hyundai. I have (2) JL W7 12s powered by (2) JL 1000/1s. I currently own a 4-door Accord & have the (2) 12s firing towards the rear. The bass is nice, but my truck rattles BAD. VERY annoying. I've tried firing woofers forward in this car & was not as impressed with their performance as I was with them firing towards the rear. I need your opinions.
