Hey guys, im currently redoing my build. I plan on doing two 8" sundown neo pro along with a good tweeter in each door as well as maybe glassing a 4" component set in the pillars. Also gonna be running 4 DC 15" XL's, but im looking now at a processor. This is my first big build like this and im new to this whole processor thing so be gentle please haha. My headunit is the pioneer Avic-Z130BT if that matters. I just want to clean things up a bit and do everything the right way so can someone suggest what i need to do and just exactly what a processor will do in my setup?

It will actually be a pair of subs. Single cab pick up truck with limited space behind the seat. Looking for a nice little sub that can get loud. Power will come from the sub channel of my GS Redline 3 channel amp. BS rated at 1,000 watts for the sub channel into one ohm. It is currently pushing a pair of 12" IA Lethal Injections quite nicely ran at 2 ohms, so any of the subs on this list will work. Alpine Type R $120 Arc 8V3 $150 Image Dynamics ID8 $100 Incriminator I Series $95 JBL GTO $80 Memphis $120 Dayton HF $105 Dayton HO $115 I am ok with the prices of all these subs. Any pair of these can be wired to show my amp either 2 or 1 ohm, I am not too worried with the …

Hey guys..im not really sure if this is the right section to put this in, so if its not fell free to move it. Well tonight i got all my wires ran through my car for the new sub. We got everything ran, amp hooked up, sub hooked up, and it all worked perfect. The sub sounded fine. I went out for a little drive with a couple buddies, and we had the music up at a decent volume just to here how loud the bass could get. When we got back to my house we sat and listen to it for a little bit longer doing the same thing. Car was running the whole time. I went to get into the car to change to a different song and i noticed that my check gauges light was on, and that the temperature…

This is the problem... I ordered about 6 weeks ago 2 Kinetik Audio HC1800 batteries on Ebay at IndoAudio (yes, my own stupid mistake). And since then I didn't receive any batteries. Now I am looking to get my cash back from Paypal / Ebay. Anyways, I still need 2 good brand batteries, which can feed my amplifiers. Amplifiers in use (or soon to be used): - 2x (strapped) SAZ-1500D - 1x SAX-100.4 (bridged) What brands (and preferably what types) can you recommend. I am on limited space in my trunk for the batteries; so smaller in size is good, but bigger in size is a no go! Thanks for your help. /edit I currently own 1 Optima Yellow Top in my current car hifi configuration, b…

OK, so my amps intermittently shut off then turn back on. sometimes just one of them, sometimes both. if just one, it's almost always my sub amp. does it at high volume, low volume doesn't matter. if I turn the deck off, I sometimes will randomly get a turn on thump through my sub for no apparent reason. sometimes they go into protect, other times they just turn off. thoughts? solutions? apparently I are not so smrt...

Not a bit of any noise. Later last night we installed a ampere 9k in the vehicle and now im getting sounds through the mids and highs . . Hi all, After many weeks of research and reading reviews, I've decided to go with Diamond Audio components. My choices are Diamond Hex S600s fronts, Diamond D661 raw mids for rear fill and a single Diamond 10 or 12 inch sub, don't know which one yet, depends on amp and that's where you all come in. For the amp, I'm thinking either 1 - the new Diamond D6600.4 to feed the front 75 watts per side and run the rear speakers off the x-over's RAF connection and bridging the amp's rear two channels which will give me 300 watts for the sub. Or 2 - the JL Audio 500/5 to give the fronts 100 watts a side, the rears 25 watts each and the sub 275 watts, or 3 - a 2 channel amp at 150 …

So i just got my ascendant audio havocs. I went with 2 12 inch dvvc at 2 ohms each. I thought i would be able to run a amp that makes power at 2 ohms but i dont think i can im lost on what to look for. Im not really looking for what specific brand (although that would be nice) i just dont want it to turn into a argument of whose better, but more of what things in an amp i should be looking for to properly run this amp. Such as 1 ohm stable, 2 ohm stable, etc. because im lost. Im running a alpine cda-117 headunit if that matters.

IM doing a backseat box for a 07 dodge charger and just wanted to know the best direction to fire in? My original idea was to have subs inverted firing up and port up and no I don't want to wall it because im plannning on doing some fancy fiberglassing in the back seat. Im also not going to compete this is just a loud daily driver will be 2 18 zcons on a 5k amp. Just want to know optimal firing direction and the trunk will also be sealed off.

  24. If anyone decides to go with FI - Your choosing to have the BEST. just my2cents Then again there havn't been to many top stereo's to listen to music on at SBN in the last 10 years. Some but not alot. FI showed up with the QUAD all day and I, an oldskooler who thought SPL had killed our sport, have witnessed the second coming. I was very excited to say the least at the best Daytona SBN's in over 10 years thanks to everyone reppin FI. You made the difference. It woulda been the same old thing - we find that one truck hear it walk around until we're back at the same truck. FI brought back the old days where you actually have something to do all day besides charge bat…
