Probably a stupid question but I'm wondering how I would go about hooking up my 15" SSD to my home stereo receiver. I think its a 100 watt per channel receiver @ 4 or 8 ohms. Just wondering if there is any way to do this or is it just stupid.

  5. Soooo, some stupid drugged up moron stole a truck on the other side of my neighborhood....while running from the cops he plowed right through my truck and totalled it completely....right after just getting it ready to put a system in a blowthrough. Sooo, now I am pimpin a nice newer 2008 F150 FX2 (bright red)....it is pretty sexy....anyway, I dont think I really want to do a blowthrough anymore. This truck looks more like a performance truck, so I am thinkin of just putting some subs under the back seats (4 dr) to keep the weight down a little. I have never sat in a truck that had subs under the seats......how do they sound and can they get decently loud? again, this …

Whenever I'm blasting my sub my fuse will blow in less than a minute. I'm running 80amp AGU fuse with 4 gauge wires and a PPI 2200 amp. What could cause this? Is there anyway I can fix this problem? I'm not sure but I think my ground wire is a 8 gauge. Oh and I'm looking to have someone build a custom box for me that involves bending plexi glass.

The car is pretty much flawless inside and out for an 89. has no rust and 214,000 miles. had to get an automatic for the wife. bought this car because the price of gas and my escalade gets 16mpg max on the interstate. well i purchased this car for $1100 from a lady in chicago today. i found it on craiglist and luckily i found it when i did cuz i instantly emailed her and told her i had cash in hand and would pick it up this weekend because she said she had ALOT of people asking about it because she was only asking $1200. i even talked her down $100. 11. I would like to know if anyone has any tips on how to adjust/tune my head unit and amp so i can get the best preformance and sound quality without messing anything up... My head unit is a pioneer DEH P3100UB and my amp for my front stage components is a cadence xenith. A thiong on the head unit i kinda dont understand is when i am on EQ 2 if i remember correctly on the option for highs i can adjust from 1k, 8k, 10k, or 12k and another option i can choose is 1w, 2w, 1n, or 2n. I dont really know what that stuff means or is and under the mids it gives me the option of 200hz, 500hz. Cant remember what else from the top of my head, sorry. 14. I understand that things are almost always "build, test, tear down, build, test; nothing works the same for everyone," but I'm wondering what others' experiences are with sub and port placement/alignment in a small Suv? 1) Would it be better to have the port rear firing into the hatch; or have the port firing up, parallel to and right up against the hatch? Assuming both enclosures take up the entire cargo area just under the window line and same external dimensions. Thinking that firing into the hatch would create more unwanted rattle, which could possibly hurt output(not to mention, sound like ass)? 2) Slot port running the width of the box, along the floor, vs…

I've looked at parts express but there doesn't seem to be a big variety If anyone knows a good website or dealer? And is It worth to look at horns under $100?

I've got a leftover system that was in my truck, that I'm going to be putting into my car. I'm not sure what the general opinion on my equipment is, though....I've got a Phoenix Gold Octane R DVC 12" sub, in a ported box right now (tuned to 37hz), and a Audio Systems Twister F4>380 4-channel amp. (http://www.audiosystem-america.com/f4380.html) What are your guys' opinion on this? I'm not sure of the RMS of the sub, so would it be safe to bridge 2 channels for each coil, or should I just run it as a 4-channel amp? If I do that, then I can also use it to power a set of door speakers.

Round two. I never decided on what I was going to name my HT towers. I want to get a couple gold plaques engraved with a name on it. If there's any other suggestions, let me know. "Stallone" is "stallion" in Italian. "Apollo" was the Greek olympian God of the arts. "Potente" is "powerful" in Italian. "Zephyr" ... you know, the new Lincoln. "Mondo" ... might go with that one, personal meaning.

Swapped my sealed fifteens for the BTL again for my listening/HT setup; super basic question, any reason not to do up firing? I have always loved the look upwards firing setups, maybe because my heart is in the trunk of an suv it seems to register just fine. the cabinet is massive, forward firing is wacky looking; I'm using the opposite side as rack for amps. Is sag an issue in a typical setup or only in setups where limits are being tested?

  23. My company is developing the industry's first line of factory replacement headunits. They require no dash kit and wiring harness on various model vehicles which are entirely "Bolt-n-Replace" with factory look, often factory functionality as well as like steering wheel controls and in-demand features like Bluetooth, Navigation, iPod, XM, Sirius Satellite and DVD. We need Sound Solutions Audio to help us strategize which features and model vehicles would be best. We're launching next month with models for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Buick, Chevy, Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn, Suzuki, Toyota, Scion and Volkswagen with more to follow and want to ensure that we…

Trunk and roofs - I have applyied a vibrational damper and an isolator product. I have done another tasks on trim panels, license plate... using polyurethane foam and urethane seam sealer.
