i just bought 2 kicker l7 15"inch woofers they came in a groundshaker box sealed until i get a custom ported box.the amk that came with it is a koleaudio 2400 watt i know its not true watts it has 3 -30 amp fuses anyone know how many watts it might push?and also the subs are 2005 model are they almost as the 2009 kicker l7?thanks for any info...

I just bought a kole audio kx2-2400 amplifier, on sonic electronix it says 4 gauge recomended can i use a 0 gauge power and ground wire or do they mean you have to use 4? I didn't know if they meant i couldn't use anything smaller than a 4 gauge and that i could only use a 4 gauge... thanks for any information anybody familiar with this brand amplifier?

I have a 2000 dodge dakota 4 door and i plan on making a ported box to take the place of my smaller seat in the back. I am hooking up 2 fi ssds on a memphis mcd1500 watt amp at 2 ohms. If anyone has a dakota which is the best box set up to go with. Im not sure if i should do subs up port up, or subs up ports off to the side or what. The box will be facing forward so the longest part will be facing from back to front. so i pretty much will do subs up forsure just not sure what to do with ports. any dakota owners have any help to give?

I just bought me a memphis amp that will put out 1500 watts at 2 ohms. Is this wiring kit good? What fuse size do i need to get? Copper Clad Aluminum These rcas? I've done quite a few installs in the past, but they've always been on older vehicles. I now have a 2008, and I honestly don't trust myself to install an LOC and amp. I contacted two shops that I've done business with in the past, and both quoted me at $65 for the install. Now I need to decide which one to go with. What would be the best way to pick one? I've seen work done by both and they both do a very good job. One of them is a member of the BBB and has an A+ rating. i had the fosgate t1001 amp old model not new,i was wondering how the saz1000 is comapible to that amp?the saz1000 is 279 dollars and i payed a shit load for my amp a few years ago from audio express 899 dollars to be exact lol a dam dollar a watt,thats why its hard to believe they do same power....

I current own a 15” Fi Q and am in the process of upgrading to a 15” IA Death Penalty. Need some info (help) on how to deaden my truck, what should I used, what areas to deaden and the cost of materials. I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota so for the most part, am just thinking that I may only need to deaden the back panel (the rear is gutted), sides, doors and possible the roof (if it’s absolutely necessary). I saw a guy on here with 2 18s in a dakota but didn’t find him while searching, hoping he can chime in. Any input would be great. Thanks

Hey guys I'm trying to make some test tones with Adobe Audition so I can calibrate my amp as well as my head unit. I'm using the highest sample rate in the program, 192,000, and I'm using 32 bit resolution. So I'm assuming this is the highest quality audio I can get off the computer. Anyways my question is which format should I save them as? I know that mp3 is a lossy format, and the program has like 20 different ones I can choose. The other thing is I have to able to put them onto a burnable cd, so I'm assuming that limits me to just mp3 and wav. i have a 15" xcon and there is gonna be pvc pipe ports behind the magnet how much clearance does there have to be for proper airflow, it is only getting 300rms in this enclosure.

Im pretty much looking for a used amp. What amps could i find that will put out around 1200 to 1600 watts used for around 200 to 220? Do power acoustic amps do rated power?

Been looking at the Fi Qs. But now I've read some good things about the Havocs as well. Just checking to see which one you guys may think would be a better all around daily driver for a sealed box with .90 cuft. per sub. Except for the fact that they're a good company I really dont much about Ascendant Audio. Which one has more Sq and which one is more Spl oriented or would one be better at both than the other? Also how much do the Havocs cost I couldnt seem to find that on their website. Thanks for any input.

Electrical will consist off: - two runs of positive 1/0 (one from alt, one from batt) - three runs of ground to chassis in 1/0 (in the trunk) - yellow top in the front - NSB 75 in the trunk - stock alt Will the subs take the power daily? Well its my senior year of highschool and i've been trying to figure out what to do with my life. I don't really have ideas but i was thinking about something to do with car audio. I enjoy tinkering with my system alot and think it would make a fun career. My question for ya'll would be does any body here besides the SSA owners do this as a career? Do you have any advice for me or guidance. I wanna eventually have a store that sells quality products very similar to the SSA store. Is there a school for this?
