has anyone heard kicker cvr subwoofers?would they sound good and getr loud off saz1000?

so i was wondering its easier for me to make payments over a period of time than it is to save the money to buy quality like sundown or fi. do any of these companies do that?

Hey guys I'm trying to make some test tones with Adobe Audition so I can calibrate my amp as well as my head unit. I'm using the highest sample rate in the program, 192,000, and I'm using 32 bit resolution. So I'm assuming this is the highest quality audio I can get off the computer. Anyways my question is which format should I save them as? I know that mp3 is a lossy format, and the program has like 20 different ones I can choose. The other thing is I have to able to put them onto a burnable cd, so I'm assuming that limits me to just mp3 and wav. But the program lists about 5 different wav formats, so which one should I choose? Any help would be appreciated. A/mu-Law Wav…

I current own a 15” Fi Q and am in the process of upgrading to a 15” IA Death Penalty. Need some info (help) on how to deaden my truck, what should I used, what areas to deaden and the cost of materials. I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota so for the most part, am just thinking that I may only need to deaden the back panel (the rear is gutted), sides, doors and possible the roof (if it’s absolutely necessary). I saw a guy on here with 2 18s in a dakota but didn’t find him while searching, hoping he can chime in. Any input would be great. Thanks

i have a 15" xcon and there is gonna be pvc pipe ports behind the magnet how much clearance does there have to be for proper airflow, it is only getting 300rms in this enclosure.

Been looking at the Fi Qs. But now I've read some good things about the Havocs as well. Just checking to see which one you guys may think would be a better all around daily driver for a sealed box with .90 cuft. per sub. Except for the fact that they're a good company I really dont much about Ascendant Audio. Which one has more Sq and which one is more Spl oriented or would one be better at both than the other? Also how much do the Havocs cost I couldnt seem to find that on their website. Thanks for any input.

Do power acoustic amps do rated power?

Hey guys im new to the forum and just have a few questions i need help getting answered. I have 2 fi ssd 10s 2ohm dvc and i have about 220 dollars to spend on an amp. Im pretty much looking for a used amp. What amps could i find that will put out around 1200 to 1600 watts used for around 200 to 220? But if im mostly looking for a 1600 watt amp for around that price Also what are the best places to buy a cheap wiring kit that will handle that power? I plan on running two 12" IXL's off a SAZ-2000D @ 1 ohm. Electrical will consist off: - two runs of positive 1/0 (one from alt, one from batt) - three runs of ground to chassis in 1/0 (in the trunk) - yellow top in the front - NSB 75 in the trunk - stock alt Will the subs take the power daily? Well its my senior year of highschool and i've been trying to figure out what to do with my life. I don't really have ideas but i was thinking about something to do with car audio. I enjoy tinkering with my system alot and think it would make a fun career. My question for ya'll would be does any body here besides the SSA owners do this as a career? Do you have any advice for me or guidance. I wanna eventually have a store that sells quality products very similar to the SSA store. Is there a school for this? I just got the ARC-AUDIO 2500 CXL & looking for some info on it? Any one know the good & bad with these amps? For years I have used a SoundStream 10.2 & have been very happy with it. Should I swap it & run the ARC?

So I used to have my quad stereo speaker setup for my home wired in parallel and then I was re-doing things and I always noticed it lacked any bass, so I thought it was maybe because i was creating a 12-ohm setup for my 8 ohm stereo. So I rewired it so I would be creating a 6-ohm setup which did improve my bass response. But when I did this my rear speakers got about 3-5db quieter which is good to me because they have a higher sensitivity so they tended to drown out the front anyways. But I am wondering why would my front speakers being wired in the beginning of the series setup be louder now? And if this is how it works wouldn't wiring a dual voice coil in a series caus…

so im getting a brand new rf power hx2 15 thats been sitting since it was bought because the guy bought 2 of them years ago and only used one. i also found a hifonics bxi2010 bnib never been hooked up for $180....i want the hifonics but the guy with the sub has a power acoustik bamf 5500 which should i get? and im thinkin of taking my backseat out and walling between the cab and trunk. now the question about that is should i go sealed or ported? im looking more towards spl then sq any advice will be very appreciated. im taking my time putting this setup in so its done right and not just thrown together like my last one

I cannot find this info anywhere but i was at a seminar for a big show coming every year in Louisville, KY next month. The dealer there said that they would have still been a current Kinetik battery dealer but they had to get rid of their inventory because there are rumors goin around saying that Kinetik is about to close for good... Now, i have never seen this posted anywhere but a dealer would have first hand knowledge of such action so i dont know really what to believe. It doesn't hurt me any but for those who like the company, might be something to look into.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but i have asked all the enclosure builders on here for a quote on a enclosure so I can then pay them to start building one, but the only person who has responded was pound that sound and he can't build one at the moment, I don't like waiting, I want to know who I can go through that will respond within the 24 hours, its been 3 days now, and I haven't gotten one quote yet??
