I've hand picked a couple items I had laying around in the garage for this build So far I've got Kenwood DNX9980HD Audison Bit.1 Zed Dreadnought, Zed Leviathan iii, & JL 1200/1 2 SSA Gcon 15's which I'll be trying out IB or possibly 3 JBL mkii 10's. so i hit a bump today on the highway and my front speakers cut out and stopped working for like 5 seconds then they came back in. there all stock. an i have a sony head unit. im guessing a cable came loose in the back of the HU?

I have a 2005 tahoe My set up so far is 2 15" hcca, crescendo bc2000, 1 cresecendo logic f-31 bat, 2 runs of O gauge cca from sky high. The ? Is should I buy another battery logic f-31 or save up for a 270 mechmen alt. my set up is at 2 ohms.

can you put a pair of AQ3500 on apair of fully loaded FIBTL 15 i know thats 7000 watts but there pricing is very good and would it get loud with them amps my goal is SPL ? thanks foe any answers

I cannot find this info anywhere but i was at a seminar for a big show coming every year in Louisville, KY next month. The dealer there said that they would have still been a current Kinetik battery dealer but they had to get rid of their inventory because there are rumors goin around saying that Kinetik is about to close for good... Now, i have never seen this posted anywhere but a dealer would have first hand knowledge of such action so i dont know really what to believe. It doesn't hurt me any but for those who like the company, might be something to look into.

Okay. The box is 4 cubes @ 31-32 Hz for an Fi Q15. The box is strangely shaped because a spare tire is going to be standing up vertically behind the box to the right of the port. This was my plan. I was going to add 2 more vertical 2x4's to the right and left of the sub hole. The baffle, port, and vertical brace are NOT permanent yet. They haven't been attached yet. That's what's permanent. I was told the back wave is going to be fed directly into the port and that usually doesn't work well. Should I change my port? Anything else?

My buddies and I were messing around with some of our equipment today and it sounds like there's no difference in output. My friend has a Rockford t1 15 d2 wired to one ohm on a sundown saz1000. Box is 3.0 cubic ft tuned 32-34hz in the back of a 02 Ford explorer. That thing bumps! Very loud and powerful. So I wanted to try the amp on my setup and my other friend wired his sax 125.2 to the t1 bridged at 4 ohms getting 400 watts. Tuned it and they sound virtually the same??? We all were thinking something is wrong with his saz1000 but could there be no audible difference between the two amps? Same song and volume same setup just swapped amps. im peeling off my old deadner ED v1 i know most of u frown upon this but it did provide some deadning but some pieces have kinda slid off not much but were they fell off jammed my lock to my door so hence the total removal... just wondering if u guys know any nice products to clean up my door n get rid of the residue oh and any input on new deadner would be great im looking in to bquiet and ramatt? not sure if i spelled it right thnx

What I want to do is hook the speaker outs from my amp to my computer with some adapter to see exactly what frequencies are present between the crossover points. This way I won't have to guess where 2500hz is on a lpf/hpf knob that is only labeled with 500 and 5000hz. I want to visually see the range on a db/hz plot. Is there a program like I described above? What's the name of it? Is there a device that will accept the + and - speaker wire and convert them to a stereo connection for the mic input on my computer? Would this just be a regular adapter that connects the - to one lead and the + to the other lead of the stereo connection? This is to help get starting points my…

Dads got a ford 2009 f250 super duty that has got the disc changer with sync system. He took it to the dealer and when he got it back the cd player was f***ed like they shoved a disc in there and it got stuck. Of course they said they did not do it. So i am going to try to install a new head unit do i have to wire the sync system back in with the expensive harness or is there a way to bypass that If you got any info or ideas on this please let me know i thought around $100 is high for a wiring harness Thanks Kevin

Ok so the blk plate is a metal piece for my back seats and bolts into the gray metal part of my cars body. the bolt goes touches both metal spots so can i ground on top of the black plate? (i will sand the paint off of course if i can use it)

OK so as you guys know im overseas in germany right now. i went to a local car shop today and asked how much it would cost to build me a box for my Massive Audio DMX stg2 subwoofer and he quoted me 150-200 euros which is about $200-$300 for this build. the box would be made of MDF and will be carpeted. i asked about bracing and if he could build it in birch instead he didnt know what that was. the language barrier owns me and this guy. I asked him if i got the materials if he could build the sub and he said yes. so theres an option. Alternator Anyone experience with Iraggi Alts? or even possibly this particular one?

hi, i currently have a 200 amp alternator ( excessive amperage) but i have had a problem. it came with a 2" overdrive pulley and i need a shorter Serpretain belt for it and they don't make one short enough. so i have to go with a 160 Amp alternator because of the Serpretain belt problem. the amps i have/ going to be using are: Us amps md1d @1 ohm (1200 underrated watts) and Jl Audio 450/4 because of the RIP Power supply. Would a 160 Amp alternator be big enough for roughly around 1650 rms watts? and i am going to get a Yellow top Battery under the hood.

My FI BTL15 is on its way and right now im working on getting the money for a high output alternator...locally a guy can make me a 120 Amp Alt. Is a 120 Amp alt enough to power the 15" Btl????...im going to be running a Hifonics BRZ 2100 at 1 ohm probably round 1900-2000watts steadily....im an everyday banger so its gunna be seeing a lot of work I have a Kinetik HC1400 as my main battery and a HC2000 in the trunk (Upgraded Big 3 to 0AWG)

I was given the link to this sound deadener and know nothing about it, not saying that's a bad thing because it is not, but I want to know if anyone on here has ever used this brand or know of this brand of deadener from any experience. I am still new at this and want to get the most bang for my buck.....or as much non bang for my buck lol. So I was looking at a vid of some 18" BLs and this guy said he wants to put a 12" BTL a 15" BTL and a 18" BTL. When I asked him why he said he wanted all ranges of bass. So we started arguing about this and how i think it's completly retarded and he thinks it's gonna get him a "full range of bass" Any input on what this guy is talking about?

k, i was thinking... i have a Re Audio SX Dual 2... can i run a sundown audio 1000d to each voice coil. so it would be one 1000d going to one and then another 1000d going to the other. someone let me know

So I was driving down to the grocery store the other day and decided to throw the bass nectar station on pandora and turned it up a bit. I have one 10inch Icon on 1200w in my crew cab silverado. I go to leave the store and the truck womt start. So i start checking fuses. I find one fuse in the box is kind of half out. Push it back in and problem solved. The only thing i can think is the bass vibrated it out. Possible? Anyone else have it happen? Fuse box is in the engine bay.
