Well it was extremely exciting and a great experience...... my first time ever on the meter. I was in SB4... First run got 141.~ because of a bad song choice Second run had a 145.~ after 16 seconds, then there was about a 3 second pause in the bass... bringing me to a final score of 142.~ My mind was on everything except for my camera.... I am about to redo all my inside speakers, so I will be needing 2 sets of 6x9s, and 1 set of tweeters. Im looking for the best all around, SQ, midbass, all of that and they will be on an amp. im look to do this all for 500. What do you all recommend i get??

Does a box have a certain amount of air space behind it or does it not matter as long as it fits?

So I was looking at a vid of some 18" BLs and this guy said he wants to put a 12" BTL a 15" BTL and a 18" BTL. When I asked him why he said he wanted all ranges of bass. So we started arguing about this and how i think it's completly retarded and he thinks it's gonna get him a "full range of bass" Any input on what this guy is talking about?

I bought a few of these for a single cab truck build from Digital Photo Club. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company.... madisound has already shipped my horns out, and yet after 2 days I haven't even received an order confirmation from "digital photo club". If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it. Also, if this doesn't work out.... what would be a good company to order selenium loudspeakers from? Thanks!

Now i don't condone riding through your nieghboorhood and constantly pound your subs just because your can and feel like being a meanie. I'm sure alot of you have tickets for loud music, but i was wondering. Have any of you tried to fight them, or just paid them? I'm thinking if the cop comes up to you and starts talking about the music. Aslong as you don't open up your trunk and just agree with him WITHOUT admitting to the crime, and lead the cop to believe you will just pay the ticket. Technically if you plan on defeneding that ticket you could tell the judge. I don't know why he gave me this ticket, but i'd never argue with a cop. -I was not playing really loud music …

The story is, i start my car let it idle and warm up. When i start listening music, then car idle drops ? is my system taking that much power so it drops my car idle ? Or how can i fix that problem?

Need to replace my starting battery on a 1999 chevy s10 blazer.Whats a good replacement to keep up with around 1600 watts. It needs to be able to match up with a second battery in back if i decide to add one. If there is not a big deal i was just going to put in a die hard gold and be done,but want any imfo/help before spending money.

Im just curious what would this sub run nowadays new? or like new condition?

so i was originally going to go with a blowthrough design, but have been reading other build logs and posts and came up with a new design. don't quite know if it is still a blowthrough design or not, but this is what i got. the plan is to take out the rear window of the truck, seal it with the rubber boot replacement to this enclosure in the bed of the truck. the view that you see is what will be facing the cab of the truck. the bottom wall under the space for the rear window should come up to the line above where it says 'KonFUSEed', the rest will be open. i was thinking of getting a piece of plastic trim to go around the outside and still doing the bottom half in bedli…

So I have now went through 2 sets of Focal components. First went one of my tweets, so I replaced both (upgraded to newer version). then went one of my door woofers several weeks later(again replaced them and upgraded to a newer version as well as newer crossovers.) So now im going to start a anti-focal epidemic in my car. I currently have an alpine fully ipod deck the IDA-X001 or something. (the first version) and am running a Alpine PDX 300.2 with a Rockford Fosgate 360.1 sound processor. What do you recommend for the next set? and Any suggestion or is it just bad luck with focal? The leads keep burning off and you can smell them so idk if I need something a bit beafier…
