I need to replace the Alternator on my Sebring. Does anyone kow of any good companies to use.. I've contacted LOAD BOSS, they only sell 1 and its only 165 Amps. Excessive Amperage, I cannot get ahold of... & Dom Iraggi I have not heard a ton of good things about. Do you have any other suggestions? Would Powermaster Alts be a good place to look? Thanks for anyones help. I need the ALT replaced soon, I think its about to poop on me...

Well today sucked! This is some major league BULLCHIT! So my car started dying again. 3 times from coming home to get my mom to follow me to the shop and so within about 15mi of driving it died 3 times. Apparently the system is too much for my car and i can't get a high output alternator because my belt wont be able to handle it... so today the guy at the shop told my mom it'd be best to get rid of my system. now i really don't want to but i guess i should if i dont want my car to die on me constantly :/ . Im going to see if he thinks it can handle a 500-800 watt system because if it can't im gunna be uber pissed. What are some options for subs? I want either 2 12's or 1 …

Im looking to do a whole electrical upgrade to prep for a fi sp415 strapped to a 3000 watt amp (Thinking maybe crescendo or hifonics). My question is what size alternator do you think would efficient. Im struggling finding any good info on high output alternators. I plan to big 3 and maybe get a second battery depending on if i need one. Oh ya the car is a 2002 accord. 2.3l

I'm going to be running a Sundown Audio SAE-1000D and an SAX-100.4. My stock alternator is 135A, I've done the big three with 1/0 gauge, I've got a 1/0 gauge run to the trunk, and I've got a group 65 Duralast Gold battery under the hood... Do you think I'll need a second battery or any other electrical system changes?

I just had an idea on a sub enclosure for my 2002 reg cab s10..... what im thinking is to take out both seats and make an enclosure shaped like a bench seat (with cushion and carpet covering it) with a sub firing backwards behind where each seat was or maybe one firing backwards in the middle i havent worked out any details yet but i need opinions, because i dunno how safe this would be, say if i got into an accident or even if i could make a box sturdy enuf to support myself and other ppl Now, time for you guys to either tell me how stupid it is(cuz it might very well be lol) or gimme some help designing it!! any pros or cons would help!! a few days ago it was about -28F outside and i had my radio maxed out from when i arrived at work. when i left i started my truck and forgetting i had the volume up i didnt turn it down before it started to play. i got about 1/4 of a note out of my sub and it stopped playing, tonight i pulled my sub out of its box to find one of the tinsel leads broken in half. i soldered it back together and the sub works now but my amp does not. my KX2500.1 powers on but there is no AC voltage out of its terminals. i assume the sub caused some degree of arcing on the amp. how common is it for subs to blow apart due to cold weather? now obviously my case is max power at very cold temps…

Sold my Sundown Audio SA-10's and looking at upgrading to a single 12" or 15" SSA Zcon. Not sure I can fit 4 cubes for the 15, but can probably fit in 3 cubes. What would be louder, the 12" be in 2.5 cubes or the 15" in 3 cubes? Either sub would be ran off a Sundown Audio saz2500d.

Ok, here is my dilemma. I currently have a ford ranger. Later this year I will be pickin up a chevy silverado (4 door). my wife has given me a choice with the two. I could either do a fiberglass lid on the Silverado and do a blowthrough with, perhaps 3 15" BTL's or a can put a camper shell on the ranger and build a wall with something like 2 18" BTLs. The Silverado will be my daily driver, so I think she is wanting me to do the system in that and makin the ranger for nothing but haulin stuff. I was curious as to what you guys would do. I am in a split decision between the two and am hopin your opinions could help me make a better decision. THANX

dude is asking 190 that include the box. the amp i have right now is a alpine m850 750rms@2ohm,500rms@4ohm. think it can push the sub? or should i just buy a 10 or 12 RL-i sub?

These batteries I keep seeing people purchasing and talking about are deep charge batteries, correct? If so, what is the difference between buying one of those verses say, a deep charge mariine battery from Walmart? Thanks, Mark
