Well I finally got my car all cleaned up. I recently bought a 1995 Nissan 240sx SE, last thursday. Enough my pictures, the car was professionally buffed at work(I work for Toyota) and my buddy still has to do the inside. It cost me 50$ through work for a basic detail, and then I paided him $25 plus 3 days of lunch. So basically I'm paying about 85-95$ for a 500+ detail job. He spent 5hours buffing, polishing, and waxing the outside today, and is going to do the inside tomorrow at work. Heres the pictures... I'm very excited about this car. hey guys. i built my crx style box this morning. it sounds very good.here are the specs on the box. 5.5cu.ft internal after sub and port displacement. 100sq.in port tuned 40hz. with the port plug,60sq.in tuned to 34hz. all i have left to do now is bondo and paint. charles

Please don't take this the wrong way, but i have asked all the enclosure builders on here for a quote on a enclosure so I can then pay them to start building one, but the only person who has responded was pound that sound and he can't build one at the moment, I don't like waiting, I want to know who I can go through that will respond within the 24 hours, its been 3 days now, and I haven't gotten one quote yet?? I'm sorry if this bothers someone, but what kind of business makes there customers wait?

Hey guys! I drive a Ford Expedition and I pretty much made up my mind on my upgrade. Now I have two Diamond Audio d6 components in the front and two d6 coaxials in the rear powered by Diamond Audio d3 500.4 amp, runing 4 guage power and ground wires to the amp. I currently have two Diamond audio d3 15 inch woofers powered by Mmats 2000.1. I want to replace the subs with four Ascendant Audio Havocs and having two Mmats 3500.1 powering them or should I get two 18's instead with one of the Mmats amps powering them. Well, Tang Band has a new fan. Today I installed a Pioneer 7700 cd player, a planet audio vx2002 on a set of fusion powerplant 6.5 comp set, and a jbl bp600 on 2 tang band 740 8" subs in a 1.3 ft3 box tuned at 33. I'm pretty damn impressed for two 8"s that I got new for $80 a pair. Heavy little subs, built well, 12mm x-max. I have 2 more on the way But as it sits it makes for a VERY clean sounding system, I wasn't expecting the amount of low end output, It's not 150 dbs but defintily enough for a nice daily beater, didn't expect the low end authority. 89' CRX, unmolested, pretty clean, came on 17" enkei shoguns, was a 50 yr old ladies car , very clean inside. Great base to start from, no fast and the furios crap will be bolted on to this.. But It will have a ALpin 7949 deck, 2 tc 3hp/FI 12" subs, on a AMerican bass xd3000. And a set of the Lanzar Opti6c comps on my old school Sony xm-5046.. should be a great project

I have 2 fi ssd 12's, they sound good on the high notes but not great, then when the low notes hit they sound even worse, they dont sound terrible, but I know they dont sound any where as good as they should, any help? And when I set my gain with my dmm, I have to turn it all the way up to even get within two numbers of what its supposed to be, Any help would be very appreciated

Well a couple of days my system was Super Loud!! Now it seems that something has gone wrong and isnt loud as before...Anyone Kno what could be the problem??

Ive noticed that my entire system gets louder when its raining outside! i know this sounds weird but i wonder if the weight of the water on the panels acts as a mild deadener? is the moisture creating a better ground perhaps? pretty odd..

Ok, so as stated in the title these are my thoughts and OPINIONS on using a plate amp to power a subwoofer setup in a house and going active in a home environment. During my night shift last night noticed the Nakamichi PA-1500 was the same price as the Soundqubed Q1-1200D. Is the Nakamichi the same quality it is famous for? Are they at the same level quality wise as the Q1-1200D or even better ? I've read how awesome Nakamichi was in the day but having troubles finding up to date info on the quality of there products? Also anyone hear the SPW-1210 their 12' woofer ? Any good compared to say Fi Q12 or SSA ICON 12? How are their components ?
