ZED Audio

I bought a leviathan on the 30th of last month, so it's been 14 days. what kind of wait time is there for them to ship the amp? Not in a big hurry, just curious.

I have read a million different posts on the various ways to set it....but ....I just wanted to get an idea where you guys have yours set at.... I am running a Pioneer 880prs 5 volt deck and the gain is currently straight up 12 O'clock position or halfway.... I havnt had it installed a week yet and barely spent any time in it yet....so its still in adjust phase but I at this moment can turn the deck up to max volume and its not distorting to me...so I am wondering if I can turn the gains any more or if I am already past where it should be at... I really hate amps not having clipping indicators ...it would be much easier to set with them

Through out the course of my adventures in mobile audio I have always been a fan of ZED built amps and have owned a rather wide selection of them... Lanzars, Crunch 50c, Usacoustics, etc... I have never been disapointed in terms of performance or build quality. Gladius reivew: I currently am powering a set of CDT CL-62i/24 components. Hey guys, I am new to this game and am starting to build my first system. From everything I have read I know I will buying Zed amps for my speakers and subs. My question is how much of an upgrade is the Burr Brown IC's, and is it worth it. All I know is that Burr Brown makes some really good IC's for audio components. Thanks, Arvind

i found a website that sold CDT amps for pretty much almost Zed prices... http://www.lightav.com/car/cdt/cdtamplifiers.html im debating on whether or not to get the SQA-1600 since there are no miniliths left... but im not sure since the amp would be a different color then my Zed Glads

Hello! I've bought my Draconia (2 pcs) in Jan 2013 at Ebay,WoofersEtc store. It was sold as NEW. Few days ago, there was a problem, so I had to disassemble one of my amps (short circuit in two mosfets at 2nd channel btw...my fault, never mind). Here is the picture of back side of PCB. There is soldering traces, flux, some kind of resistors etc. And it all look not like factory view. Is it normal for Zed amps? If it is not normal, I want to warn you, apparently, Woofers Etc store sells repaired (maybe even badly) amplifiers under the guise of new. P. S. Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my native language)

So I hear that ZED is coming out with new amps? I am planning to get the Leviathan BUT if there is maybe some new product coming out, specifically in the 5-6 channel amp department then maybe I should wait and see. Can anyone give me any clues as to if what I heard was correct and about the possibility of new 5-6 channel ZED amp? TIA

Well, my business partner was on a mission to bank some frequent flier miles off some cheap cross country air-fare. He mentioned Vegas, Grand Canyon, (YAWN) then Los Angeles. I told him if we could get up to Simi Valley to count me in! Long story short, Grand Canyon was a big arse hole in the ground, Vegas was pretty cool...helps that my partner does a ton of traveling and gets the VIP treatment at hotels... There doesn't seen to be any markings (to show the version) on leviathan amps.Can anybody tell me how I could verify a used leviathan is version 1,2 or 3? Thank you

hey guys! new to forum but need some help I have an Autotek 7600 bts grey body and blue label amplifier. I had to have blown something inside this thing because evry time i put in a fuse it blows it. It is more like a dead short. I have had this amp for a long time and absolutely love it and dont really want to throw it in the grave yard. do you guys know maybe what could be wrong with it? Also do you guys know of anyone who would still want to fix this thing. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks T

Hi Stephen, Are you still manufacturing these series of amps for Nakamichi? Namely, PA 2004, 2002 and 8004? How are these amps as compared to their recent batch of MIC amps?

what mono amos does zed make and what power do they produce?

I know this is not the right place and I just registered finally (So these are not officially listed as for sale with the 25 post forsale requirement) but thought I would just give the heads up that a Q175.2 and Q120.4 are going on Ebay soon. Both were sent in to Zed about a year ago for updates and bench tested. And are 8/10 cosmetically. My Draconia and Deuce are serving me well until the next release (; Since this is the Zed forum I just wanted to mention it here and am not soliciting in any way... help please i just got an esx 75.2,,,the good ones made by zed,,,i have a dual 2 ohm woofer that can obviouslt make a 1 ohm load or 4 ohm load,,,ive downloaded the instructions from the esx website but this little amp is so complex along with the instructions ,,, ireally dont know where to start..all i wanna do is run the amp bridged to push my woofer help please

Does Zed still make Nakimichi amps? I saw they just came out with some new amps, and wondering if Zed made them.

I am not listing in the for sale forum (nor able to) my Zed Deuce and Draconia amps with Burr Brown upgrades here. They are both being put on ebay. Just for anyone who might be interested. I was all set to buy a couple of Zeds and then had a change of plans...well ....after lots of money and not even using half of the amps I did buy, I am on the verge of getting the Zeds after all.....if I do it will be a Zed Duece and a monolith or Gladius... I currently have a ARC 4150xxk & ARC 1500xxk and quite frankly like them but I am still haunted by not getting the Duece... I must first sell a Son of Frankampenstien which is a limited edition 4 channel PG amp and a rare amp(500 made) . I am getting this one a trade as nobody had cash for my new PG ZPA 0.5 monster 2 channel.. I am wanting to know what you had before you got the ZEd amps and what your impression …

ive only ever really ran Rodek amps, ive had a couple 2150's to a couple 15''s and still have a 280 to a couple B-52 12''s and i also have a rodek cross over, now i got a 2300i and would like to know if i can run it down to 2ohm mono, ive had my 280 blow up at least 5 or 6 times and rebuilt, now it will run 2 ohm mono load all day, ive got 2 gauge wire going right to the board and dual fans on it, what an ugly looking beast now but i can hit 145 db on the termpro mic (pad) and ill pop any fuse smaller then 60amp, my cross over needs some work though, im only getting one channel out put, and im no longer in touch with the asian tech that had been servicing my amps before…
