ZED Audio

I have trouble opening some of the files on Zed's website. It's mainly the TECH files where Zed explains Components, Amp Classes, Cables, etc... I can open the first few files up to "Components", then I'm not able to click and view the PDF or word file. Anyone know what I can do?

I'm interested in the Zed Audio Gladius amp but I can't tell where the fuse is from the pictures. Does it come with a fuse? Thanks.

I am about to place an order with ZED and was hoping to get some feedback from those who might be using the NEW Series of ZED amplifiers... Please share your thought's ....

Well, since there is a forum here now, I guess I'll be the first to post an actual question What's the efficieny like on the Miniliths? At both 2ohm and 1ohm?

Through out the course of my adventures in mobile audio I have always been a fan of ZED built amps and have owned a rather wide selection of them... Lanzars, Crunch 50c, Usacoustics, etc... I have never been disapointed in terms of performance or build quality. Gladius reivew: I currently am powering a set of CDT CL-62i/24 components. This is a set in CDT's lower price range, but I am very pleased with bang for the buck. Prior to the Gladius these were powered by my old trusty Orion XTR 375. Anyone have any idea what size of fusing for the new Draconia?

Does anyone know when the Draconia is expected to be back in stock? I've heard as early as October and as late as next year. Thanks.

I got my zed minilith today. online pdf isnt the clearest. looks like I use unputs 1-4 if I run full range to amp or input 5 if I run mono to amp. my question is I have left and right sub output off deck. that means I use left or right to go into #5 input on amp..right? http://www.zedaudiocorp.com/PDF/ZedManual-RGB.pdf

I installed it today and well I am a little suprised how much I had to turn the gain up... I have an Eclipse 8 volt deck and I figured I would leave the amp all the way down...well that was wrong...I had to move it about 1/4 to get any volume..... With gain set to 8volts I could turn the volume all the way to 80 on the deck and it was still rather low... on a side note ...one of the channels is blown so I am going to have to pay to have it fixed or get the seller to take it back..I just got it last Monday... but anyhow....I was expecting to not have to touch the gain with the 8volts deck...thats really the only reason I have the deck.... was I crazy? ....right now I hav…

I will be installing an Ulysses amp in my car this spring and then maybe replacing it with an ESX 60.4. I convinced my brother to go with ESX amps the old zed ones. Hopefully he will now see how good and powerful they are. I'm going to start him off with a 175.2 and if that is not enough I'm expecting a 275.2 to arrive soon. Mind you I don't really want to give him either of them yet he is my brother.... Does anyone else have any old zed in their cars? Currently I have a hifonics Gemini vii doing my entire system and it's pretty damn good. I'm almost totally satisfied with it. Just no real earthshattering bass yet with 4 8's it's good for now. L.

I am running a PG RSDc 12 off my JBL BPX500.1 and I am just wondering if the minilith would be a step down. powerwise I am sure it would but I wonder if the mini sounds better or has more control of sub. my sub can take lots of power but doesnt need it. its got a efficiency rating of 94

help please i just got an esx 75.2,,,the good ones made by zed,,,i have a dual 2 ohm woofer that can obviouslt make a 1 ohm load or 4 ohm load,,,ive downloaded the instructions from the esx website but this little amp is so complex along with the instructions ,,, ireally dont know where to start..all i wanna do is run the amp bridged to push my woofer help please

just wandering if it was built buy zed, maybe some of you guys that were into car audio then can help. one seen one since then,looks like a zed made amp. long like a crunch 50 us acoustics 2300 or a 7600 autotek or the almighty zeus! plane with no crossovers just lots of clean power. amp was black with a orange stripe down the center of the amp with yellow writing and thats about it. haveing trouble finding anything on the company or the amp for that matter. im looking for one as i type....

Man guys I finally finished my install.....got everything tuned up and its simply amazing.......people are swearin up and down I have hidden amps......my system sounds amazing .......everyone need these in there life.....CHECK these pics out.....my camera broke.....so I used my i930....camera phone....not the best picks but I think I get my point accross.......

I'm planning a basic active setup for the time being and currently have a USX-2150 (old style, no blue LED) to run my mids with. Looking for something similar to run tweeters (Seas 27TFFNC) and since i love matching i was thinking of something from the same series anything from 75-150 rms/channel. I'm looking into a set of AA mids. Any advice regarding this, should i aim for a little less power on the tweeter or go about the same? i've done it both ways but i'm not familiar with these tweeters so i figured i would look for some input. they are rated at 90w continuous i believe, but i know that means very little. I was all set to buy a couple of Zeds and then had a change of plans...well ....after lots of money and not even using half of the amps I did buy, I am on the verge of getting the Zeds after all.....if I do it will be a Zed Duece and a monolith or Gladius... I currently have a ARC 4150xxk & ARC 1500xxk and quite frankly like them but I am still haunted by not getting the Duece... I must first sell a Son of Frankampenstien which is a limited edition 4 channel PG amp and a rare amp(500 made) . I am getting this one a trade as nobody had cash for my new PG ZPA 0.5 monster 2 channel.. I am wanting to know what you had before you got the ZEd amps and what your impression …

does this mean the amp is on? I suppose I could thump on the rca in's to see if it makes noise through the speakers. I used my DMM and checked for voltage on the remote in, and it doesn't show voltage as do power and ground... any clues? love the amp it's under my dash it's so small thanks in advance for any input Tom

Hey guys, I am new to this game and am starting to build my first system. From everything I have read I know I will buying Zed amps for my speakers and subs. My question is how much of an upgrade is the Burr Brown IC's, and is it worth it. All I know is that Burr Brown makes some really good IC's for audio components. Thanks, Arvind
