ZED Audio

Is it possible to hook up the minilith using only the sub out RCA's. I tried this once real quick, but did not get any signal. Should I try just splitting the left and right out puts on the RCA to get 4 inputs to the amp. HELP!

I have this amp and it says 600 watts @ 4 ohms.I know it has more power than this I just dont know how much. If anyone knows the specs on this amp it would be helpful. What ohms is it stable to? What should I fuse this amp at since it has no fuse on it? Does it have an unregulated power supply? Class ? It is an oldschool amp but I would like to run it, just need some info. It was made by ZED audio . I have searched the internet but found limited info. Any help would be appreciated.

I need to know if the gladius is strong enough for your needs or not... I am planning on running one to a pair of PG Elite components . I dont want to be short on power but I also cant afford to spend $400 an amp..... I am trying to decide between the Gladius and maybe another PG amp...Xenon maybe unless I can get a good older PG... I would really like to buy one of these new Zed amps..or 2...

Are these true Zed amplifiers?......there is several stories about there being some sort of middle man that produced to many and cadence did not want them or something....just looking for some facts the ones I have do not have the plexi bottom but do have the a7000+ stickers on them.

Hey guys.....how do you think (((2)Mini's Strapped to W7 or (1)Deuce))) would play out...being that the W7 is single 3 ohm sub? Wich way is going to sound better....and be most efficient....I already have the mini's and was thinking about changing those for the deuce.....OR may be some sub recommendations for the 2 MINIs....I wanted to run one moster...sub....thanks

Hi guys! I just won usx1000f from ebay, my 2nd one! I got it for 102 usd minty like new condition. I can't wait for it, I really like the quality of os zed amps.

Still trying to get over the fact that MEGALITH won't ever see production..... limping by with JBL/Crown 6K for consolation. Anyway, was talking with Stephen recently about a repair and he mentioned that he was working on an 8 channel pre-amp/processor/factory integration unit, similar to Bit 1, JL Cleansweep, RF symetry, etc. Sounded super sweet, still on , but hopefully it comes to fruition sometime in the future. I have been kicking around the idea of getting JBL MS8, but this gives me a good excuse to wait on pulling the trigger on that one.

I am curious to know which of these two amps you all would consider to be better made? Here's my dilema.....I currently have a USA2100 in my car, and working fine. My speakers can handle 150 watts rms (Diamond audio's) I just sourced a USX2150 (no lightbar) also made by Zed Audio. IT works....sorta. one channels out, and the output of the other one is weak...definetly heading south. Is the USX2150 that much better of an amp to warrant getting it repaired, or should I just stick with the 2100, and then spend my money on locating a good 2300 for my subs? Or get the 2150 repaired, and then start looking for a 600f or 800f? How much would repair run on a 2150 anyways while we…

I have never owned any of the white mean machines..there is a small one I am looking at now..or else I will buy a USA series gray amp off one of the forums......basically I want the most Zed power I can get for the money....

hi everyone i recently picked up a crunch ca250...it looks like it is zed made but im not really sure,,anybody know the specs on it??its also still got the hi level wires with it!!!havent seen one on ebay for years!!i got a pic but cant post it on here for some reason...i must be doing something wrong!

Hmm, that didn't last too long. The rules are here for a reason. Stay around and contribute some first. That is some nice gear BTW.

I know that double power will give something like 3db gain in volume...is that about right? could be way off...I read it before long time ago.. I want to have plenty of power not necessarily use it but I beleive in headroom for when I need it ..like horespower..

As was stated in another thread, Zed is running low on his 12V line of amps. Can we expect another run for his current line (Deuce, Minilith, etc..) in the near future. I'm a great fan of what Steve does and would wait a few months or so. Do we know if the company os going another direction, or will the car audio amps still be part of Zed Audio. I'm not trying to start and rumors or stir up anything, I would just like to know if I need to wait patiently or find another amp to run my 12V needs. Long live ZED!!!!!

This may seem like a really dumb question but can these amps be mounted sideways without heat buildup issues? With the Draconia sold out, as well as other brands of amps slowly fading out of my mind, I am leaning on a 2x Minilith, Gladius BB, Duece BB combination that would just about take all the space on the back wall of my regular cab Silverado, forcing me to take the middle jump seat out and put my 10" Fi Q there. Or build some amp rack where they would be semi stacked (not one on top of the other, but close) or maybe some slanted shelf on to one side and sub box on the other. Either way they would be mounted sideways.

Looking at running a 2 Oz Matrix Elite 12"'s and a set of Oz Matrix Elite 6.5 Comps in an SQ setup. Wanting to know if a set of Duece's would be a good choice or 2 Miniliths, going to rum the Draconia up front.

Hey guys, new here. I am planning to buy 2 amps next week. 1 2ch and 1 mono 1 ohm load amp. I am leaning towards Zed due to his knowledge and cool attitude. Wow, this is great, a forum for some of the best amps ever made! I have a pair of ESX amps I purchased when they were being sold online a few years ago. I was amazed when I got them. They are beautiful amps. The heat sinks are so damn hefty, I swear I could use them to pound in nails. Well, I have always heard that the ESX amps were under-rated. Is this true? If so, by how much on average? (I have the 75x2) I'm using one of them bridged on an old-school Lanzar American 10" sub in a sealed box. This pro car stereo installer built it for me. I got a hold of a never used Draconia. It has the black case. Will it sound any different than my ESX?

I have an Autotek 7100 BTS made by ZED Audio and I was wondering if anyone knew if it is 2 or even 1 ohm stable when bridged.

The ESX Q 604 was in pristine condition inside and out to say the least. There were no marks on the fins. It was never worked on or repaired based on my assessment of the circuit board and interiors. The screws weren't stripped. I would compare the condition of the amp to a car that was traded in with 5000 miles on it. The amp literally seems to be barely used if at all. I would give it a 9/10 easily. Thank you, I look forward to enjoying the amp for years to come. I am even more impressed with my Optidrive 1000.1D.
