Mr Mantz, I saw on your website under amp specs you have another class D amp called the Megalith. Is this amp still going to be made? If so do you have any pictures and a price estimate. Thanks

mr mantz or anyone, could a copy of the letter sent out regarding the minilith be posted here? i would like to hear the whole story regarding the 1 ohm issue with these amps.

Ever since all of the discussion on ECA about Zed's new big six channel amplifier I have been interested. I couldn't seem to find the very first thread but here are the second and third. (from February 2005) second third I participated in the contest to pick the names for the new and large 6 and 4 channel amps. I actually won the six channel naming contest naming it the Leviathan. (no prize claimed yet) Been quite awhile since I have herad any news of how the building and testing of the prototypes are coming along. I realize good things take time, but I'm just curious if there are any developments. The Hammer

Well, I'm a fan, so I thought we could kick this off with a little discussion as to what experiences our memebers have with the products. I myself have been a huge fan since the GOOD Hifonics. Wish I never sold them, or the ESX, or the Rodek I had. I am very picky on my equipment and of the many choices out there, I have always come back to two prominent companies, Zed and Zapco. Zap is a little out of my pricerange and frankly, I don't see a benefit over ZED. What I really like is when I shoot you guys an email, I get to talk to the man himself. Stephen, What do you remember about the Cadence amps you designed in the 90's? Did these amps have anything particular about them (design, technology) that you were trying at the time? Also, did you build the amps or just design them and have Cadence build them? As always, thank you for your time and knowledge.

I used to have one of the 2300s which was later stolen. I am looking into finding another and decided maybe someone here could help me. If I fail to find one I am probably going to go for the Zed's "The duece". Anyone have any recommendations or info? Dave

im looking at this ebay auction with 4 old alphasonik amps. on the zed website it says that zed built amps for alphasonik in the mid 80s but im not sure these are that old. can anyone help me out? this old alphasonik ended the other day, i wasnt sure about it either but it was definately older than the above ones.
