Picked this up today from Steve at AmpMedics. Traded the previous owner my Skar Sk85.4 and paid Steve the $220 repair bill. Had a full ovehaul. Changed fets, drive board, and power supply! Having Robin at BHE build me a set of double stack Fi Q motors into 12's with PSI Soft parts next month to run on this bad boy. Can' wait! And my Q motors. (Yes I know one has cooling option and one don't. Both NDMstang65 and David from PSI have given the OK to run them as a pair.)

Picked her up Thursday night! I'll get more pics when it isn't raining =). This car turns head like nothing I've seen before. Plans include the Go-wing, HIDs, true duals, 5% tint, carbon fiber trim interior pieces, door sills, chrome tank, new stereo, and rims =D. Got her tinted today, so more pics later.

*Copy from "That other" forum* Well it wasn't without some angst (Seller shipped 2 subs in 2 seperate boxes that came 4 days apart) but I finally have my new subs. As I've told a few of you, I'm a total sucker for gear that I drooled over when I got my first car. I've wanted a few of these for a long time. Prowler is a sneaky snake so he already knows what they are : ....... ...... a pair of 12" , 8ohm PPI pro's. One more thing before the pics...... as a testament to "they don't build em like they used to"; the 2nd one I got today was in a TERRIBLE packing job. I should have taken a picture of the box. These subs are 12.5"x 5.5" and the box was at least 20"x10"..... add…

I left the amp at the same setting I had it at with my old 10" L7's. The amp is a little Hifonics Bx1605d, so I am underpowering this thing by a whole lot. Today I decided it was ok to go ahead and really let it knock and thats exactly what it does! Even with this amp. I am very impressed with the sub. Loud is an understatement! Videos are listed below. My girl freinds younger cousins reaction. (Heard me 10" L7's the day before i got the BTL in the truck and said they were the loudest things hes ever heard.) Probably the first system hes ever heard aswell. I let him hear the BTL and then asked him how it was. Ignore my Girls singing in the beginning, she likes the song lo…

  10. just built and test fired this beast today, built to perfect proportions with a 2" barle, soon i will add a versa barle system (so 1.5 can be used to shoot hard boiled eggs and 2.5 can be used to shoot tennis balls). twas an extra credit project for physics, not that i need it, straight A's wigga what? so far we have covered force, momentum, and mtion and 2 directions, all of which can be applied to the furthest potato shot. they have 2 sparks, was smart and wired them in series...2 sparks = more effient burn = bigger boom = further launch i test fired this maybe 1hr ago in the dark... stuffed a wad or loosely packed paper about halft way down the barle and helt it at…

  16. Hey all, new here, and just got my Fi BTL hooked up last night. Just thought id share some other systems that I've had also. I started with a single CVR12. blew that, and got 2 more. I was going to get 2 more for a total of 4 12 CVRs, but Instead I got my Kicker L7 12s: This is what it looked like in an older box that I messed up on, with the FatMat showing: Those subs went through 2 vehicles and about 4 boxes. Then I sold that system to put a turbo in that car. But my friend gave me a deal I couldnt pass up on some Memphis subs, so then this is what it looked like: I've had many other smaller systems, like some hifonics subs with older amps, just no pictures o…

Steve's pics of his flaming lawn tractor got me thinking... What do you mow six acres of hills with? Something like this...a Kubota L3830 with a Woods 7' finishing mower. 40hp (at the wheels? ) from a 3-cylinder diesel. Manual transmission, eight gears forward/reverse. Rear and mid-mounted PTO's. The front loader has a rating of almost a ton, and it's moved rocks nearly that size.

My wife and I drove to Pheonix this past Sunday to pick up a rescue Rottweiler Puppy. (UPDATE 20100819 She is actually Shepard Lab mix not rott. Finally updating this) She was estimated at 9 weeks old and if her size now is any indication she is going to be a monster. I was able to pass her as a Labrador/German Shepard mix. On to the Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
