So I finally replaced my 8mp HTC Incredible 2 which I loved, and got the new Galaxy s4, and ofcourse I have been excited about a new camera. First impressions are that it has many features found in decent point and shoot cameras, the ability to adjust exposure, a 4x zoom and several shooting modes and color effects. The zoom is intuitive, the shutter response is very quick and the camera handles motion, and low light much better than any other cell phones I have used to date. Here are a couple of unedited pictures taken by my phone, just to give you an idea of the versatility of the camera. These pictures, except for the second one were taken using just the a…

So some of you advanced users may know... or maybe even the amateurs too ... I'm trying to dig through my photos to see the metadata of them .. Basically I'm looking to find the most common focal length I happen to use my 16-80mm lens ... I want a prime and they are not so expensive but I'm torn between 35mm and 50mm which are both 1.8... On my camera those lens translate into roughly 52mm and 75mm since it's a cropped sensor. NOW .. understanding that, would it be better to use the 35mm as a go to lens for indoor shooting and nice close-ups because of the bokeh affect those lenses posses ... From what I've read the Sony 50mm 1.8 lens is apparently sharper than the 35mm a…

EPIC lens for the price, I would recommend it to ANYONE.. Especially for a budget. My next purchase will probably be a new daily lens. let the pics speak..

  7. Damn! It was a good show. It was awesome chatting it up with all you guys. No trophies for me. :/ I was bestowed the honorary "Rocked the fhawk out" by the Oklahoma crew. They don't call them guys OK for nothing. Thanks fellas. I did get some great tuning tips from one of the Houston Boys, Chad. Awesome dude, thanks for the tips. Well I'm gonna try to keep this thread alive by posting some pics. So here goes. Chad's (southside) Acura out to dominate the world of SQ Nice and clean trunk install. I didn't get a chance to listen this time around, but there is no doubt this is one nice sounding car. I came across this sinister Tundra done up by the crew at Mobile Toys…

Picked this up today from Steve at AmpMedics. Traded the previous owner my Skar Sk85.4 and paid Steve the $220 repair bill. Had a full ovehaul. Changed fets, drive board, and power supply! Having Robin at BHE build me a set of double stack Fi Q motors into 12's with PSI Soft parts next month to run on this bad boy. Can' wait! And my Q motors. (Yes I know one has cooling option and one don't. Both NDMstang65 and David from PSI have given the OK to run them as a pair.)

Yes I'm bored. LOL I was looking at my photobucket and really missing having some sort of fast car or hot rod. I figured I would share some pics of my cars over the last 10 years and show pics of my friends insane cars too. This car started my passion for Mustangs. I bought this car off the showroom floor and ended up making it a launching machine at the track. haha. 2003 Saleen S281 Paint matched my garage My 03 F150 with my Mustang Traded it in on this SRT-10 Ram, Viper motor and I added a 175 shot of nitrous on it. Made 560rwhp on spray. It was bad ass! Then I bought this 89 Saleen. This was my favorite and I'm still sick I sold it, 80k original miles, built…

I just finished both the ported boxes after they were so highly recommended, So I thought id post pictures of both. Also at the end Ill say which one sounds the best in my application. You have to admit that looks pretty badass even without being carpeted yet. I'm thinking paint the port white, black carpet on sides and back and leather/vinyl for front. So actually one ported one sealed sounded the best! Although its not recommended by many, it sounded fantastic. You get the SQ and top end of sealed and you get the lows and loudness of ported. In my opinion its the perfect combo for these drivers. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of them together but... if…

  21. Hi, So last spring I bought a 1993 Nissan 300zx that was converted to twin turbo. Only to find out the next day that the engine was about to go because of Sh** work the shop did (splicing 2 wiring harnesses together with crimps, looping. deleting oil cooler, installing the wrong rad and had the hood hit it and crack the top. Anyways as I am only 19 years old and this isnt my only vehicle and I have to buy all the stuff myself as my parents taught me to save for what I want and dont hand me money. So far I finally found a good JDM engine, bought it and brought it to a shop to get it all done as I dont have a hoist or enough knowledge to do a swap in that insanely crampe…

So I've began researching cameras and am seeking advice. I am fairly new to photography so simplex would definately be a big help. I don't want to be overly confused by so many options. It is an hobby that I do look forward to explorering. The main things I would be shooting would be pretty much anything that catches my eyes. And I don't mean, like, pictures of my fork, or a pair of shoes that are untied. I mean, things like, car shows that I would attend, where there will be an abundance of colors. Or, city shots where there will be a lot of moving objects. Or stand still shots of newly purchased equipment, where focus, detail, and clairty will play a big part. Besides t…
