Little selection of stuff...Altec biflex woofers, horns, my SV811 monos, the kickass KT88 push/pull amp, HK integrated, etc... These supertweets just look frightening - on Pioneer HPM towers. I thought my tube gear was heavy. This is the beefiest damn receiver I've ever seen. It's time to make the donu...err, refoam the speakers Old-school AR, rocking out after refoaming

I just finished both the ported boxes after they were so highly recommended, So I thought id post pictures of both. Also at the end Ill say which one sounds the best in my application. You have to admit that looks pretty badass even without being carpeted yet. I'm thinking paint the port white, black carpet on sides and back and leather/vinyl for front. So actually one ported one sealed sounded the best! Although its not recommended by many, it sounded fantastic. You get the SQ and top end of sealed and you get the lows and loudness of ported. In my opinion its the perfect combo for these drivers. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of them together but... if…

I had to literally yank the cone from the basket rocking it back and forth.....here is the bad stuff: Hmm...something looks missing Oh there it is !....the rest of the coil stuck in the gap 5 1/4" sub, i need a new one obviously And the rest of the enclosure here: 13" across, auction said 11....they must be blind 5" tall, they got that one right With port top removed Inside the "chamber" havent got a clue why they have insulation in there underside of top Port inside enclosure, its almost like a bandpass Aparently this makes it sound better Foam for the "filter"...lol Bugs infound inside, auction…

Should house a Sundown 100.4 and a pair of SD-1 10's soon. Just finished the woodworking, carpeting is going on now. I'll post some pics when it's all in and carpeted. As soon as the amp gets here, I'll build a plate to flush off the amprack.

One hell of an entry level system < $600 in equiptment/waires/everything for hte headunit and < 650 total (enclosure and kick pods). I think i did pretty well for Amanda no? Hifonics 4channel amp comes in tomarrow, well could have come in today but because it was being shipped to her house there was no one there to sign for it so i have to go pick it up tomarrow. these hollywood sound speaks seemed kinda wimpy to me but for $55 they look worthy. Of course weight has little to do with performance, but i like beefy speakers. I had to remind myself they are a set of componets that retail at $175 if you're luckey. Then the sexiest componet amp ive seen to date Fla…

I left the amp at the same setting I had it at with my old 10" L7's. The amp is a little Hifonics Bx1605d, so I am underpowering this thing by a whole lot. Today I decided it was ok to go ahead and really let it knock and thats exactly what it does! Even with this amp. I am very impressed with the sub. Loud is an understatement! Videos are listed below. My girl freinds younger cousins reaction. (Heard me 10" L7's the day before i got the BTL in the truck and said they were the loudest things hes ever heard.) Probably the first system hes ever heard aswell. I let him hear the BTL and then asked him how it was. Ignore my Girls singing in the beginning, she likes the song lo…
