Picked this up off of Craigslist, turned out it was a guy I went to school with. I will be putting it in my GF's jeep powering my old ID ctx65cs components. Also bought her a reconed SA 8. I put a "dove" logo on it, she has a similar tattoo. It will be replacing (2) old Infinity reference 12's she bought awhile ago. build log coming soon...

My friends and I decided to use our 4WD this weekend, so we headed up north to the dunes at Silver Lake. It was me in the almost stock ZR2, my buddy in a stock Cherokee, and another buddy in a stock Silverado Z71. None of us got stuck up there and we made it up every hill we tried (never attempted Test Hill though). If you ever have an opportunity to come up here, especially when you're driving, take it. And it has 8" of clearance too, too bad you cant go any larger than 10's with it. Basically it ended up that i would just go around tapping it with a hammer and saying "it could use some bracing here" untill no matter where you tap it you get a short, high tap, not a thud. cant really brace any better than that. its heavy as a Bizotch too for a 2cuft box, used almost an entire sheet of MDF Anyway, its on the smaller side for the speakers it was built for which are 2 Kicker Comp 10's but low end output should be made up for for the lower than reccomended tuning (about 32Hz uncorrected and 29-30 after end corrections) and they are slot loaded so im hoping that does…

When I picked up this poor thing I had to re-solder the voice coil wires back on. It was really beat up and covered in liquid nails... yes liquid nails. Well I got another design from my good friend Allen and got to building it last night. I finally finished it up today and looks and sounds amazing. I have not turned it up much since mounting because I made the sub hole cutouts a little big and I cant mount them. Tomorrow, I'm making a new faceand just throwing it on top of the original one.
