Never got it to blow. It smoked a little but it never blew. I ran it at 4ohm and it would go for about 3seconds then pop the 15a breaker...i kept resetting it ant it never would blow. I didnt have acess to a 30a breaker. I wired it to 1ohm and it popped the breaker almost instantly. The coil still looked like this. This driver doenst look like it had a very tight gap but damn does it have some strong magnets. That is all.

  6. I got a member of Ridiculous C.C. to play a track of mine, "Infrasonic Bass" on his 6 Memphis 15s in a ported box. My camera doesn't do it justice because the woofers were really moving. uyhnhJwyBko

JL Audio XR 5.25 components. This is my first time haveing to make speaker rings for them to fit so i only got one door done today =\ o well its progress i guess. i had to remake the rings 2ce becuase of the way the door panel is curved and i didnt really wnat to cut the panel so here are a few pics from my day today. For the tweets, i just glued a peice of wood to the back of the pod as u can see in the pics and then screwd the mounting bracket for the tweet onto it. looks decent for my use and get the job done. http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/haz...mgAnch=imgAnch1 http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/haz...mgAnch=imgAnch2 http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/…

Hey- Just wanted to share the temporary amp rack I made just until I get my next set up. Came out pretty good considering I really suck at wood work lol. Also as a side note, I decided to use my dmm to see how many watts my amp was putting out because I set it by ear a long time ago. My Punch 500-2 is somehow outputting ~1000 watts, which would explain the terrible efficiency and voltage drop. Sorry for the poor quality, my camera was dead at the time. I should have taken a few other shots too, but its basically a simple wedge design.

Well for now im gonna fix the flexi basket and if i ever have the money i may send it in to be made into an 18... soo here is what i did today. I would like to fix it to the point it wont need a support ring on it so i can put the gasket back on make it look brand new. I dont know how im going to do that because that will be one hell of a weld to get the broken spoke back to the basket.

Yo... So, received my Pioneer Premier P8DVD from Showrides on Friday, modified my truck dash on Saturday and installed... It looks pimpin... How it used to look... That "Dakota" slideout cup holder just so happened to be the EXACT size of a single DIN cage . Also, the dash is WIDE OPEN behind it! *p00f* Passenger side view! View from rear window... Few more shots! YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pimpin, I love it! The P8DVD is a dead head, has RCA audio out that inputs into my 9835. All volume and processing is handled by my Alpine 9835. ABS will be used to fill gap on sides of the screen Comments? nG

And it has 8" of clearance too, too bad you cant go any larger than 10's with it. Basically it ended up that i would just go around tapping it with a hammer and saying "it could use some bracing here" untill no matter where you tap it you get a short, high tap, not a thud. cant really brace any better than that. its heavy as a Bizotch too for a 2cuft box, used almost an entire sheet of MDF Anyway, its on the smaller side for the speakers it was built for which are 2 Kicker Comp 10's but low end output should be made up for for the lower than reccomended tuning (about 32Hz uncorrected and 29-30 after end corrections) and they are slot loaded so im hoping that does…

Well this system is very basic and the upgrades are coming slowly. The hu is old but it works for now. The 4x6 plates are horrible and the MLI-65's are underway. The Hertz were okay and slammed pretty good especially with the new alt...but the BTL is much nicer. And the alt provides mucho voltage. Those are my first speaker boxes and carpet job ever. Two seperate boxes so it wasnt so heavy and awkward to do by myself. Had to do the round port with simple tuning to 33hz. I made them a touch too big but oh well. Still sounded ok to me. I wanted to cut out the back 4x6 grill on the panel and install some kind of speaker from the deck for cosmetics. The hifonics works for no…
