it was like 3 different colors, so i decided today to give it a quick and CHEAP makeover. about $5 worth LOL didnt tape much of anything off, didnt sand or prep, just painted it flat black. wheels, most of the frame, gas tank. looks 10x better than it did. only can see imperfections up close. obviously not gonna stay this way, just for the summer while its good weather to drive it. when its winter and too cold to drive, its getting parked inside, completely stripped, and powdercoated. im thinking of powdercoating it matte black as well, becuase i really like how it came out. i thought black was the last color i'd want (was thinking about something bright to stand out) but…

well i FINALLY got my box today for my Orion HCCA 12.2. i paid $175. its 2.5CF tuned to 38 and all walls including the port walls are double thick with mdf. i wish i had a meter to meter it becuase id really like to know. id say its just as loud if not louder than the 2 15" kicker L7's if anyone has ever heard them in person. here are a few pics to get started!! I've been putting off installing this because I just haven't had time to do it myself. So finally I just took it to a local shop and they did the install for me while I was at work. I'm very pleased with the results. I had these subs in a Grand Marquis before and it sounds MUCH better now. Anyone who has/had a trunk like the Marquis knows what I'm talking about! Long story short... This 15 year old kid in my neighborhood with no license crashed into my friends PARKED Audi A4 in front of my house. He told the cops that he was going 5 MPH LOL. The funny part was the little kid was trying to act tuff infront of the cops but after the cops left he hid in his parents car, The stupid kid only lives 1 side street over from me... you can't really tell from the picture but his box and amp was pushed all the way into the back seat and the headunit was laying on passenger floor, just from the impact.

Hey all, new here, and just got my Fi BTL hooked up last night. Just thought id share some other systems that I've had also. I started with a single CVR12. blew that, and got 2 more. I was going to get 2 more for a total of 4 12 CVRs, but Instead I got my Kicker L7 12s: This is what it looked like in an older box that I messed up on, with the FatMat showing: Those subs went through 2 vehicles and about 4 boxes. I tried this at smd and i got ripped a new one...so i was outside of my house smoking a cigarette(wife thinks i quit) and i see a bum pushing a cart...so quickly i spot a prefab box...i call him over and ask him to show me the box...the box had an old skool rf 12" sub... Brand new man! Then he says i also have an amp...so he pulls it out the bottom of the cart and its a decent kenwood 2ch...THEN!....he say i also have a stereo...so he takes it out of his backpack its a new pioneer premier with ipod connection,bluetooth,4v output,and its in its box. All tested and works like new

So my buddy got a great deal on some Diamond Audio D6 15's . He ditched the Sa-12's and this is what we did. For the amount of power they are getting they absolutely slam.

1936 though? lol A bit that fitst for the right bolt size. one of the holes was pretty stubborn. You can see all the burs on there as well. Before After Maybe not the best spot for them, but works for me. Thinking about putting some feet on the box and having the amp underneath. Still undecided.

Just putting up some pics of a small meet I attended last weekend. It was pretty fun spending a couple days around people you only knew online or met at car shows. We rented a small guest house for the night and the owners were kind enough to let us do our thing in their parking lot.
