Here's the start. Already did the front stage, which consisted of Coustic DR 7 inchers and Aura tweets. Didn't snap any pics though; they're just stuck in the stock placement. Built the sub enclosure today. Have to go to the dealership Monday and get the appropriate vinyl dye.

After much toil yesterday I am finally willing to post some pictures of my car. I spent all day in my buddies heated garage with a case and a half of beer and a buffer . The car was almost orange when I bought it, but I think it looks red now. It is amazing what removing the swirls and oxidation will do. So here are some pics of my ride, this time the exterior only.

I just finished both the ported boxes after they were so highly recommended, So I thought id post pictures of both. Also at the end Ill say which one sounds the best in my application. You have to admit that looks pretty badass even without being carpeted yet. I'm thinking paint the port white, black carpet on sides and back and leather/vinyl for front. So actually one ported one sealed sounded the best! Although its not recommended by many, it sounded fantastic. You get the SQ and top end of sealed and you get the lows and loudness of ported. In my opinion its the perfect combo for these drivers. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of them together but... if…

I've been putting off installing this because I just haven't had time to do it myself. So finally I just took it to a local shop and they did the install for me while I was at work. I'm very pleased with the results. I had these subs in a Grand Marquis before and it sounds MUCH better now. Anyone who has/had a trunk like the Marquis knows what I'm talking about! Here are the pics of the finished product in the Caddy. 2x AQ 15" SDC2.5 Sundown SAZ-1500D The Yellowtop is not connected yet as I picked it up from my dad after the install. I can always do that pretty quickly myself anyway. The Kenwood X592 is in there temporarily until I can buy a touchscreen. The almight…

here it is. after about an hour we located the problem. teh starter wire had laid up next to the long tube tri-y headers and melted, causing it to short out. here's a car made by an audio shop, pretty good install, some clearance issues, looked over by several mechanics, and all that is wrong with it was the starter wire...lol....oh well...we got paid for the repaires.. enjoy the pics.... one the sexiest amps of all time and there ya have it. the best part of this car, other then the crown, is the airbrushed chrome trim. it's absolutely beautiful. but there are some issues with the car. one airline leaks a bit, there is some rust starting to …

here's some pics of the 1971 impala install i'm working on (in between all the other stuff..lol) first the car... now the box build up. it's bandpass. roughly 2ft^3 sealed and 2.75ft^3 ported, two 2" x 14" ports 11" long. rough bandpass figures are 35hz thru 95hz or so. honestly have no clue, it's for a 15" treo ss, and it's my first bandpass build for anything other then flat out spl. my home away from home... the brace and parts..... and the build up...the sealed part is "stepped" to get the need volume... pretty much finished the box...here's a side shot and a look inside the beast. i'll take some more as the install progresses... yeah, it's alot of pics, but what the …
