Im looking into getting one and need to know some of the basics or some of the deals/companies you guys might suggest. I want it to be fast, have a long battery life, dont need more than 40 gigs, would like to have cd/dvd burner,and also 2 drives (unless it makes thething like a foot thick lol) any help wwould be appreciated!!! i was just using the internet and i got a pop up for some free anti virus software. i then closed it. next thing you know, i keep getting all these pop ups saying my computer is infected and this random anti virus program starts to scan my PC but this program really is not installed on my PC. i get a hole bunch of random windows security pop ups also. i cant download a new AV program or any program any more it keeps stopping the program from installing. i really do not want to reformat my PC. so please any ideas would help. Alright, so I'm in the market for a large capacity portable music player (atleast 80GB+). I would like for the player to be FLAC compatible and also be able to hook it up to a headunit like the Alpine W205/W505. I really have no bias on players and have no problem considering an Ipod. This will be used mostly in my truck and maybe every now and then around the house when I need to be quiet or plug the headphone jack into whatever system might be available at the time.

have any of you guys used one before? I ask because a co worker is looking at one of their laptops and I have never used them before

So I'm rocking a 46" Panasonic Plasma 720P that I bought from Circuit City in probably 2007'ish. Its basically the flip phone of TVs. Finally looking to upgrade. 55", TV (digital over the air) and movies (streaming HD, bluray) only. No gaming. Price point under $500. From everything I can find, something like the TCL S515 seems to be the best bang for the buck. Any cheaper but equivalent options, or better options at the same price point?

Does anyone quick scope in Modern Warfare 2? I've had an HD PVR for a while and decided I'd make a new youtube channel strictly for gameplay. Some things to expect include MW2 montages/clips, "let's plays" of Gears of War 2, Mario Kart 64, GoldenEye 64, Mario Tennis 64, and just about every other popular Nintendo 64 game. I already ordered a device for capturing the composite signal coming from the N64; for some reason the composite inputs on the Hauppauge don't work with any console earlier than PS2.
