What should be here and what shouldnt? Screen print with no applications running...

Well as the title states, I am in desperate need of a new CPU, my old-school "Pentium Dual-Core" Just wont cut it in today's CPU heavy applications. What's up fellas, recently my house was robbed and my Xbox, 42" Panasonic Plasma, modded controller, and a bunch of other stuff was taken. I would like to buy a laptop, soon. My family's home desktop is very slow and everyone always goes on it and I would like a personal computer with only my things on it. I'm very specific in what I want because there are many factors, I want the laptop to run pretty quickly just not slow. Our desktop is probably 6 to 7 years old now.. i need help

Just bought a new ipod nano for work (newest version) and i want to take songs from my friends ipod (old nano) and put them on mine. I also want to put the songs on my itunes music library on there too.. but i dont want to put them on my friends ipod, nor do i want to delete any of his songs. So, how can i add his songs on my computer then transfer them onto my new ipod? -- resulting in his songs and mine on my ipod Thank you!

Found a refurbished HP EliteBook 6930p for $265 shipped. Wondering if there are any better deals out there. It MUST be 32 bit to run the fea programs i use. specs on the one I found intel core 2 duo 2400 mhz processor windows 7 professional 32 bit memory 4096 mb 320 gig serial ATA hard drive dvd-rw 802 11 ab6 wireless card not too worried about graphics or audio. will just be using this for fea analysis and a little web surfing.

okay so im trying to find out what wattage this computer takes. my power supply went out in one of my computers and ive found power supplies but all have different wattages. can someone help me out.

I'm not sure where to start looking for a projector, I had one I got for free for a few weeks before I moved home to Illinois and loved it but I accidentally left it. I'm considering another instead of a 50" tv, something in the neighborhood of a 120" screen. Well, I can't quite figure out how to make Winamp do this. I want to be able to have it random shuffle through albums, and then play through the album in order...and then once its finished with that album to move to another random album. Winamp seems to let me randomize from all the files, not really useful. Are there are players out there that can support this? And if you recommend Foobar, I want a link to something that's already configured

OK. So i just got portal, and i have been playing tf2 for Months. what is wrong is that for some reason when i'm in game certin elements keep resizing them selves. i think it is a graphics card problem but i dont know what to do!! for instance. the cube in portal shrinks then grows, same with the doors, and the pointer shoots to the corners. the menu is either too small or to large. ill try and get some pictures up soon. my Graphics is a EVGA GTX 285 stock.

i am pretty sure i know what i did, but have no idea how to fix it...i uninstalled Total Video Converter and when uninstalling, it asked if i wanted to uninstall some files and me not thinking just figured they were something worthless... well to make a short story shorter my DVD won't play anymore with any program i use any idea how to fix this? i already tried to reinstall total video converter and it still doesn't work!

I search on PirateBay, seems like a good site. Find the torrent. Got a bunch of seeds, got a couple leechers or whatever they're called. Click on it, Azureus opens up. Save it to the desktop or whatever folder I want the file(s) in. Minute or two later the thing starts downloading. Downloading slowly. I had one file go at 150kb/s for a minute or two, then went down to 80kb/s or so. If I were to take an average of all speeds I've seen since I started using this I'd imagine that it would be around 30kb/s. Sometimes around 45kb/s, sometimes around 17kb/s, sometimes around 12kb/s.
