I know that there is a competition section in the forum, but I figured I might get more views in here... Mods, if you want to move this I totally understand. I have been on the USACI midwest site a bunch, and tried to google "WI spl competition" and such, but have had no such luck finding future competitions that I might attend and learn at. I am looking to try my hand at competition in the future, and what better way than to go and check 'em out? There will be a double point USACi show on June 24th at the fair grounds in OKC. I don't have all the information on it just yet, but I know that it will be a part of an existing car show. I will post up more information when I have it, but the date is locked in and should be posted on the USACi calendar today/tomorrow.

What's up fellas. This year world finals will be held at Lima Ohio. I an going to be there and competing being that I took first in regionals. Would love to know if anyone else plans on going. It will be march 23-25.

Who all's going? I was looking and the flyer last year said Sat and Sun 10am - 6PM, This year it says Sun is for industry personnel only, except for the SPL Hall. My Son and I are going as spectators. I know when we went to the Finals in Nashville we had to leave saturday- and we missed all the big demos on Sunday. Are there going to be people Demo'ing on Sunday?

Story: 2x 'drag event here June 4th. Plan is to clean up, and there should be plenty of people there ... so I'll be representing TeamSSA to the max and push the site. Uber is in 1.2 cubes sealed. Not even going to begin to guess what the hell it is running on the meter, but I'd say 135 or under. Remember, I'm in the middle of nowhere, where sealed Type R's with 500 watts and MTX 6000's rule. I would have liked to get a 12" L7 or something to beat on, but I don't see that happening. So, looks like I'll have to deal with what I have ... the uber, and the US Amps MD2 (~ 1500 watts). If anyone is interested and coming from out of state, I have plenty of room at the house for people to crash for the weekend, I can also get group rates at local hotels. On my VERY FIRST car competition ever I walked away with a first prize trophy and a final score of 151.6 DB. A BIG thanks to EVERYONE who helped me out. Especially the shop who took care of me (K&N Audio). Those who have given good input, gave good advice, and steered me in the right direction. Of course I am thankful to my family and most importantly I am thankful to God for this awesome experience. Met A LOT of cool people there most of which I have contact with now. I am in need of a box. I am wanting to best daily SPL I can get period. I am using 2 AW1206T's w/ a PA1800DB amp. This is going into the back end of an 87 GMC Jimmy Full Size so I have lots of room to work with. Let me know the best setups that will be able to perform the loudest(SPL wise).

COME ONE, COME ALL!! On Saturday November 6th Vincennes University will be hosting it's annual car show and cruise in at Vincennes, Indiana. ALL vehicles are welcome to attend and enter the car show competition. Low Riders, Jacked up 4x4's, Mini Trucks, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Classics, daily ground pounders, SQ cars, SPL vehicles, etc. They'll have trophies for almost anything that can be judged. I've been in contact with the event coordinator who also said that if we can get a TL or some SPL meter at the event they'd love to have it and would adjust prizes, judging and whatnot accordingly for anyone wanting to compete. ill be having a termlab booth for the car show.. no points no awards just fun runs. you can pre regester for 10 bucks if you want to park inside with the SPL cars. or 25 at the gate. or you can pay for runs,. come in and do your run then park back out side the gates... or you can come enjoy the cook off, car show, glow off SPL runs. beer shopping booths live music and live entertainment let me know if you want to pre regester ... i need to get a head count of pre.. and a quess of how many maybes for the day that want to park and play INSIDE the gates. thanks guys.
