Alright guys, so i have been constantly complaining about not having a meet. Well here we are! An offical SSA meet to showcase SSA. We are going to the Scottsdale Pavilions and we are gonna mob there together. Here is the plan, we are going to meet at Agua park and then mob up the street to the pavilions, if your confused... Anyone going to be at Thunder Valley this Sunday? I will be going with several friends and family members, bringing 3-5 competing vehicles. If anyone is East of Norman/Noble and would like to meet up and get in on the convoy, let me know. Hope to see some folks from the forums up there.

Audio Designs of Winona, MN are holding their annual car audio competition on July 29th in their store parking lot. The competition will be dB Drag and Bass Race format. There will be lots of prizes for competitors, and there will also be a $1 raffle with many other prizes. Food will be catored by Wood fired Pizzas and beverages will be available all day. Figured I'd throw a thread up for people to post vids,pics whatever from finals and the 3x. Inac score was a 152.5 in stock pro 2. Don't know about place yet because my score was lost. For the 3x the next day I put up a 152.6 good for first place and the west coast championship.

Well I got this idea from a guy who recently posted in the forums. Since I never been a competitor, I would like to be informed on what are the do's and dont's in competitions. Things like charging up the batteries, not use the subs the same day of the competition etc. Hopefully this will be useful for some of us who have never competed! How do YOU guys prepare?

Thats right a big 3x dbdra and 3x Iasca show in oregon. This is coinciding with a big car show at the Chinook Winds casino. Featuring Dbdrag, bassracing, IDBL, bassboxing, sqc and iqc. Some big names from Cali and Nevada coming up. Will be lots of raffle items and a great time!

Soundgarden in Macomb,IL will have a show on November 1st. The address is 135 N Randolph St, Macomb, IL 61455 it is on the square (location not set in stone BUT WE WILL HAVE A SHOW). We shut down one side of the square just for us or use an old grocery store close to the university. Lets make the last show(unless I can find a indoor venue thats not to expensive) of the year the biggest!! The name of the show is DB-FREEZE being this late in the year. A good friend of mine wants to enter his vehicle in an up coming event. He has never done this before, and neither have I. Reading through the rules and trying to figure this all out without ever being there is a little difficult. From what I can see, the Bass Race looks like it is less complicated than db drag racing. Am I correct? From what I can see, you play whatever you want (except test tones) for 30sec and the meter will average your SPL for that 30sec. And whomever you are paired up against does the same thing. Just like bracket racing. The Db drag racing looks like it is much more involved. Can someone explain what to expect when doing this for the first time? …
