It's that time of year again when our local university automotive department is putting on their annual car show. It falls on Nov. 1st this year and as always is open to anything and everything. There's a pretty good showing of cars every year (especially when the weather is decent) and wouldn't expect this year to be any different. I'm hoping to get a better showing of Car Audio related vehicles at the show this year. I'm trying to get everyone I can locally that's into the hobby to attend and I plan on having at least the Jimmy there if not both it and the van. It would be absolutely awesome to have some guys from the forum attend, especially anyone from Team IAK!

So now that I have chosen the subs that I want, they will need a home. Here are the requirements I would like for them: -Sealed -The NET internal volume should be 1.3 cu. ft. I am not sure what the displacement of the RL-Ps will be so if anyone could share plz do... -I would like the box to be exactly the width of 36" externally. This is so the box will take up the whole width of my trunk (going in a Scion tc). -I would like for the subs to be flushmounted in this box. -Two terminals on the back -I would prefer Dark Grey carpeting, not regular grey. A good friend of mine wants to enter his vehicle in an up coming event. He has never done this before, and neither have I. Reading through the rules and trying to figure this all out without ever being there is a little difficult. From what I can see, the Bass Race looks like it is less complicated than db drag racing. Am I correct? From what I can see, you play whatever you want (except test tones) for 30sec and the meter will average your SPL for that 30sec. And whomever you are paired up against does the same thing. Just like bracket racing. The Db drag racing looks like it is much more involved. Can someone explain what to expect when doing this for the first time? …
