US AMPS

where can i get one? i recently picked up the US-X3 x-over off ebay, but they didn't send a wiring harness.

I'm sorry to say I don't know much about U.S. amps. I have 2 that I'm trying to find some info on. Value, wattage etc.. any info would be much appreciated!

So an unforeseeable incident happened to my Md.1d a little over a week ago.... I contacted Jeremy (flakko) about the issue and he helped me track down the problem to see the proper course of action... i called UsAmps tech Greg Carlos... Presented my problem and his technical knowledge was spot on and knew immediately what the issue was....He was courteous and very insightful.....I was transfered to the front office to Holly to get a RA number to send my amp in..... Holly was really nice and very receptive to my issue.... I had no problems getting the RA number and got to laugh a bit at her attempt to pronounce some of the streets names here in Hawaii..... Would anyone on the forum have suggestions regarding fair market value for the following US Amps USA 2000x? I recently purchased a new set of Definitive home audio speakers and am looking to possibly trade rid my old set to a friend for the US Amps USA 2000x pictured below. I've been out of the car audio loop for quite some time and appreciate your feedback. The amp appears to be significantly smaller than the versions I've come across while researching online. There's a white label on the circuit board with the number 47383 on it. Thanks-Chris

Hi I am very happy with all my Chrome US Amps USA series. However I am changing my system, and now need a better Midbass amp. I am looking at the Us Amps Merlin MD23 but I do not see anything other then specs written about it anywhere! Has anyone used it, and can give me your thoughts? I need a amp that does 300 Watts @ 4 ohm X2 and has a high pass crossover that can cross at 60-65Hz. The MD23 fits that perfectly. Thanks.

So just how much are the ax-600 underrated? The site has them at 190rms/channel but they are underated from what i understand. So the 2006 stuff what will be different between the old and new. OH come give a dog a bone. I think this what i'll be running my cdt ES-7.1 braxials off of. Good idea or not?

I was wondering if md 23's tend to run hot?? I have one running bridged @ 4 ohms barley pushing it at all and it gets really hot to the touch. Just wondered if anybody else has had this problem?? Thanks

Is this a standard part on the AX line or is it optional? Is mounted inside or outside of the amp frame?

what does everyone think about running 3 vlx400s on 6 15 inch incriminator death penaltys. clam shelled in a suburban ext. use all 3 amps or only 2?

the screws on my amp are all rusted, some of them are warn down. i've been looking around for some philslot screws the ones with the square to grab on to the wire, but i've only found some overpriced ebay ones. anyone know an online store that has them cheap?

Where is most of the money from US amps made. Where is the office? My assumption is "the US." Then why, can i NOT understand half of what the guy who answers the phone says? I dont like spending 5 extra dollars on a LD cell call to have to explain myself thrice, or ask to have something repeated 2x said amount. Bad form. Has nothing whatsoever to do with race, it has everything to do with having questions answered by someone who fluently speaks the most common language of your customers. Since im ranting, the packaging of the AX line is lacking. The plexi they wont send you....because they break easy, gets broken, and UPS wont replace. Thats all the bad news i have…

Hi I've been calling around to different car audio companies accross the US and all of the stores tell me that mmats amplifiers beat us amp hands down. (compared to merlin series) Is this true? I know the car audio shops have installed both amps and should know, but this is a us amps forum and wanted to hear if there was a difference in opinion. Has anyone here dealt with mmats pro audio amps? thanks

Since there isnt a distributor in Canada anymore I'm wondering if there are going to be any dealers in Canada. Maybe US Amps/RE is looking for someone to take over for their Canadian distributions Might be better if they were to answer emails. Does anyone know anything about any of this?

Sorry if its a dumb one...Back in the days i had a usa amp black with the clear bottom i heard they stop making them?But i see there still are and now they make subs im interested in a subwoofer RE AUDIO SX12D2 12" 2000w problem is i never heard them i see a few you tube vid but the cone does not look the same.I never heard of them so im thinking bout gettin rid of my american bass crap and get me one of these i would say 2 but my maxima wil fall apart..lol

hi folks i have this amp since 99 and has been through various installs, but i never knew the tru output of this beast. it is rated at 1200w @12.8 i think but i have recently found that the power is unregulated so i guess the more power you have to feed it the more watts you get. anyone know the the tru power in numbers?

OK heres the deal I have the SAT software but now I need to find the Black box interface that goes from the amp to the old 232 Serial port. Does anyone have one of these SAT Interface boxes that can tell me whats in the box and what I would have to do to make one or have one they might want to get ride off?

I am just wondering how the new XT series and VLX series amps are compared to some of the amps from the past. I am looking at these amps and they are a steal for the power they claim to put out and the efficiency they claim. If someone could tell me how they are now I would greatly appreciate it and also if someone could explain to me what some of the differences are between the VLX and XT series amps are because spec. wise they look very similar but their is a $100 price difference.

Just trying to get my power down. I know the MD2 are rated at 1500, but push closer to 1800. Do the MD1 push much more than 1200. I am trying to decide if MD1 is enough
