I've run the ed's before and they are solid and seem to be a great value. Looking at the IS 2080 for front comps and the 2200 for subs or the ed nine.2 and nine.2x. What do you guys think? The setup will be CDT EF 61 Neo comps up front and 2 10's sealed but not sure which ones.

Ive heard that USAMPS are sub drivers rather than musical amps. By musical I mean stuff that would drive high end components. I use my USAMPS for everything as I am impressed by the formidable power and low distortion. How good are US AMPS at playing the upper frequencies compared to brands like sinfoni and brax? Are there NOTICABLE differences between the tube series and regular AB US AMPS? J

Hello I'm new to this forum. I have a few questions that I would like for someone to answer for me. I have the like the title states a US Merlin MD22. Now every where i have read says it do the following specs Power: 200wx2 @ 4 310wx2 @ 2 650wx1 @ 4. And on the box it says 257 @ 4 ohms and 352 @ 2 ohms. So I want to know the truth, whats the deal? The first thing i noticed is the fuse rating (3) 25 amps, now i know that if a amp has a 60 amp fuse. It will do somewhere from 650 to 750 watts. And the second thing I noticed was the power and ground connectors. Now I know it takes like a 4gauge wire. And the thrid things is that it is made in the U.S.A. so I know that its …

Anyone have the specs for the USA-150 with the long fins on the side? Also Id like to know which input to use when I bridge the amp. I replaced a PG xs2500. I had been running the 2500 with a dcon10d4 at 8 ohms so like 250 watts and I switched over to the 150 and ran the amp at 2ohms. The xs2500 kicks the crap out of the sub. It seems like i have to run the 150 almost to clipping to get it to push a 300 watt rms sub.

I have a US Amps USA 800 pushing 4 15's I also have 4 Zapco C2K 9.0's in the closet, My ride has Zapco on the mids and highs so I am going to put the 9.0's on the subs. I think the information on this amp(USA-800)is interesting for those browsing this forum and I'm checking to see if there is enough interest to warrant selling it. The following is a portion of the ad from when I purchased the amp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's one I'd be tickled pink to find under my Christmas tree...one of the original 50 US AMPS USA-800!! This is THE bad-boy cheater amp, with sound quality creditials. Truely the absolute be…

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what amp to use for my BA Z6 comps. Well, I just bought a USA-1000x and plan on using that. What do you think about this combo? The 1000x doesn't have a high pass x-over but I think they Z6 passive x-over will handle it fine, right?

Currently I am using a USA-4300x and a USA-1000x. In my bedroom sits a new, never used, AX-4360TU I have a local with a AX-1000 he's wanting to part with My question - which setup would be better? In both sound quality and volume - current or the two AX series?

I have a USA-200 pushing a 12" RLP on a single channel at 2 ohms at the moment. From my understanding the 200 is bridgeable at 2 ohms. This is one of the first usamps I have owned, and I am unsure of which terminals to use for bridgeing. Anyone know if it is the right + and the left - or vice versa, or if I am completely wrong and the amp is not bridgeable @ 2 ohms?

OK I have a old USA-3000 it still works however there are four burned up resistors right by the power supply they are M106 M107 M116 and M117 they are light blue and have five lines on them Red Gold Green Purple and Yellow I looked at the amp guts site and every amp that us amps ever made while they were in Florida had this resistor in them. Does anyone know why they are blown and if I can just replace them and not have to replace something else as well? also does anyone know what value these resistors are so I can buy new ones?

Anyone know real quick what colors the US Amps USA-50 came in? I am thinking of using one to power my tweeters and have seen it in purple and black. All my other amps so far are Chrome, but are all part of the Xterminator series. Thanks for any help

So I may have fried my black usa50 today. I turned off the car and I heard a bang. I looked and checked everything out. Amp was really hot. No electrical stink to it. I haven't tried to fire it back up to check yet I wanted to let it fully cool off. The board and everything look good from the outside. I plan to see tomorow when I get off work if it still wont turn on If it is indeed fried can I still send in the old usamps for repair. This one is from 96-97. I'm not sure if flakko can lead me in the right path on this one or not. If not I will call sometime.

Does anyone know ANYTHING about this amp??? I have been looking and cant find too much info on these at all. I know that it supposed to do 3k @ 1 ohm, but thats about it. I have an opportunity to get two of these blown (not burnt) for a really good deal but I need to get all the info I can first. I also want to know if these are meant to be run strictly at 1 ohm or can it go down to .5. Any info good and bad will help. Thanks

Greetings from europe, We are building the demo car for USAmps and RE for next summer, and we are brainstorming about witch amp's and subs tot put in this car. We where thinking the folloing setups: RE xxx 06 15" X2 RE xxx 06 15" X4 not enough room for a good box RE xxx 06 15" X2 and RE xxx 06 12" X1 SPL and SQ option. Front stage using the AX tube's And the sub's using a couple of AX 2000 or AX 3000DE Wath will rock the show so hard that all heads will turn our way So it has to be loud .....mega loud on music only no pulsing But is also needs to show off some great SQ, so a split system sould be best one QS other SPL (LSQ) sorry for that term but i mean verry…

Well, it was just me and Mr. Casey Walsh I thought it was a fun little time. Walked through the factory, there wasnt much production actually, just one guy in the back soldering, and dirk in his lab workin it because the CES stuff was set up in the work room. Ill have pix later on tonight but ill post what i thought was the most informative part of the tour, the interview with JR. This is just the section of the Q&A in which people from the forums asked questions. We talked for a good hour afterwards about different things usamps has been designing, most notably their venture into home audio But that is for another time. the vids might take some time to load, ki…
