some quick thoughts.... 1) this is a great looking amp! the problem would be how to install it, lol. i mean, rightside up and you can't see the internals. upside down and you can't see the nicely done case/heatsink. talk about a dilemma. 2)the set screws are entirely way too close to the case. it would be nice to see them just a bit further away, not much, but you can already see rubmarks on the case from previous installs. 3) a subsonic filter on a stereo amplifier? nice touch! it would be even sweeter if it was adjustable instead of just on or off. 4) the bridging is reversed. instead of L+ and R-, it's R+ and L-, which meant i had it hooked up wrong and had to refer t… -

So I finally got this beast of an amp. I looked at the user manual but have a question on wiring. I will be using four single 4Ohm subs. The way I understand the Manual I can wire two subs together to form a 2 ohm load and use one set of terminals on the amp and do the same with the other two subs for the other set of terminals and the amp will see a 2 ohm load? My head tells me the amp would see a 1 ohm load but the manual makes it sound like it would see a 2 ohm load. Can someone help? I would prefer to run at 2 ohms VS 1ohm but if needed will run at 4 ohms as to not destroy the subs I have. Subs can take 500-700 RMS. -

So just how much are the ax-600 underrated? The site has them at 190rms/channel but they are underated from what i understand. So the 2006 stuff what will be different between the old and new. OH come give a dog a bone. I think this what i'll be running my cdt ES-7.1 braxials off of. Good idea or not? -

Hi there, I am trying to locate a part for my AX-TU1000c. I got it used and the 4700uf caps were bad, one was detached from the board. Also the pin headers were cracked on the tube board. I recapped most of it and replaced the pin headers but I need a couple parts. The previous owner busted a speaker block and tried to solder it together. I'd like to replace this but its very hard to find this part. Does anyone have any idea where I can find this PCB Barrier Terminal Block? (other than buying a parts amp) I could use a rca PCB Mount A/V Concentric Outlet too. I did test the amp removed from the heatsink and it is working af… -

hey i just wanted to see if anyone wanted to try out an AXTU300C i have another one im going to use to biamp my front stage, but while i am waiting for the speakers to come in and finish fiberglassing, i said to myself, "why not let the nice people on SSA try it out?" since this is a very esspensive piece of equipment, i will allow 5 people and to my discretion to be able to try this out. The sender pays shipping to the next location. the stats of this amp are as follows: 100x2@4, 160x2@2, 320x2@4 anything else youll find on the stats and pix page. if someone can bench it, that would be really cool. so yea people sign up!!! 1. After almost 20 hours I finally got my system up and running. Integrating into a Factory system with a Navagation unit is a headache but I did it. I used a RF 360.2 to send the signal to my amps. I have not put in the AX-3200DE yet but that will be this weekend along with my RE MX18. So I should start off by saying this amp sounds amazing. I am running my stock speakers and it makes them sound soo much better than the stock amp. There are things I am hearing in my music that I couldnt hear before. The only issue I have is that when the volume is low or where there should be silence in the music there is HISSSSSS. I dont think its normal and I have identified the amp as th… -

What makes a AX2000HC worth $1000 more than a AX2000? I know that volts x amps = watts. I have been told that a AX2000 produces 600 watts at 4 ohms and that a AX2000HC provides 150 watts at 4 ohms. I don't understand. Does the High Current amplifier have a extremely low voltage? Does the AX200HC have a much better power supply contained in the same size package? What IS the difference? I know from experience that US Amps builds a heavy duty amplifier, but specs don't help me understand what I am getting for my money. -

Hey guys I was curious if anyone had any idea what a US Amps 3000 de 2006 model should sell for. It is still new in the box. I have one that I will be selling and would like some idea as to what to expect. I was going to use EBAY but after looking at amps there I am thinking twice. Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to lose too much money on this if possible. Thanks. Charles -

Hey guys, I have two US Amps 3200's and I am wondering if I need a MLT to strap them? From what I understand, they can be strapped. I cannot find any info on the web regarding what and how to strap them. Can someone offer me some insight if they are strappable? If so, how would I go about it? There is no master/slave switch on them, hence why I think I'll need an MLT module. Both of the amps have US Amps/RE stamped on them. They have the grey wire, not the red. Thanks! -

Hey guys ive had an AX4300 for about a year now and one of my channels doesn't work properly. It seems that the rear right channel will give a very scratchy sound like the speaker is blown. i went back and checked the RCAs and they were plugged in fine. if i jiggled the rca or pushed it in harder it would clear up for a while but then the sound comes back. What is going on and how can i fix it!!?! Thank you -

I had a AX5600 in my car being ran active off a 9835, powering ID OEM mids, Hybrid L1 tweeters and 1 12" RL-p. I've pulled that system out to use the 9835 and amp in my dad's F150, but I'm probably going to stick with some passive TypeX comps in there and 2 E8s under the seat. My question is, are the AX5600 speaker channels bridgable? I'm going to run some old Type-R coaxs off the HU for the rear, but want to send the comps more power than just the front channels. Thoughts? Next, I'm picking up an XT800.2 and two XT800.4s for my car. I'll be running the same L1s, but pairing them with new 2ohm versions of the OEMs. The RL-p is going to be ran IB. I plan to bridge one of t… -
