US AMPS

Hy, on my XT4000 box it says CEA, is it CEA rated? It is an US Amps, not the new RE Audio XT4000.1. I want the CEA ratings for this amp please.

Hey was wondering if anyone out there has some recommendations regarding enclosures specs for two RE MT 12 for daily use. I've read other post that say to use the information stated for the MX12's as a guide. Also is there a set limit to the rms these speakers can handle.

I'm looking for a U.S. Amps Optimizer. Anyone selling one? Anyone ever use one? Is it worth it? Does it do a good job.? What do you guys think? Let me know please.

i got a buddy who has 3 vlx400 neding repair.i thought i read a post about some of u some of u guys saying only use the old school guys that handbuild the old school us amps? can any of u guys help him out?by giving me some info on him getting these fixed?thanks for the help

Currently I am using a USA-4300x and a USA-1000x. In my bedroom sits a new, never used, AX-4360TU I have a local with a AX-1000 he's wanting to part with My question - which setup would be better? In both sound quality and volume - current or the two AX series?

My friend has the us amp Merlin md3d... He got it not too long ago perhaps last month for 400.... now i want to get it.... he said to give me my AQ. and 150... Should i go for??? This is also the friend that i sold my lv4 too.. I am going to get it back... I want to go back to my high school and win the competition they have.. ha ha... okay the comp. is not real legit. they do it by ear ... and stand like ten feet from the vehicle... and there mostly are trucks.. so it will be just a bit harder for me... Not sayin this is true... and i think they will be biased considering the some of the people that go...they think kicker or lanzar are the best thing out there...…

Does any one know what the real outputs are for the vlx-400 at 1ohms on 14.4 and 16 and can it take 18v? I have one I am either going to use or sale I have had it for sale for sometime but no body buying in this market so I might as well use it. Someone said it needs like 350amps to run good is this also true??

I had a AX5600 in my car being ran active off a 9835, powering ID OEM mids, Hybrid L1 tweeters and 1 12" RL-p. I've pulled that system out to use the 9835 and amp in my dad's F150, but I'm probably going to stick with some passive TypeX comps in there and 2 E8s under the seat. My question is, are the AX5600 speaker channels bridgable? I'm going to run some old Type-R coaxs off the HU for the rear, but want to send the comps more power than just the front channels. I have a md 2d but i don't know how to set it. i don't know what the sub sonic and lpf does. could tell me a step by step to set it?

I have been looking around for information on this sub, but come up with nothing. Not specifications on it, but whether or not I can run this in a daily setup. I know there are a few people who do run these daily, but those are the larger sizes, 12"s, 15"s, 18"s. I have never heard of anyone running a 10. Would it be fine for daily use, or is it similar to the old BTL 10" to where it was solely for burping purposes? Any help would be great appreciated

My cousin finally let go of his AX1000, so glad I got it Very excited Im running a Fi Q off of it and compared to the power I was previously giving....WOW...just....WOW. So clean and very crisp. Can not wait to do some more testing tomorrow

this is probably dumb but this is my first us amp and i noticed that on my md1d there are 2 channels even thought it is sold as a mono amp. my question is most amps i have owned had the bridged output marked on the amp. this one doesn't. can i just use a positive off one channel and negative off the other? does it matter which? thanks in advance for helping the newbie.

I have this amp and it worked well until i let my friend borrow then i got it back and it doesnt produce any sound. The first thing i noticed when i turn it on is that it makes a clicking noise. I know what makes the noise its the black peice in the picture. it powers up but no sound comes out. What is THE piece and has anyone had this problem also is it fixable? I also noticed that if i set the input voltage to 9.6volts it wont make the sound, but when i turn it up above 9.7 it clicks. even at 9.6 volts it won't work. Also it only makes one click like a fuse and makes it when i turn it off. Also the little white thing in between the 2 big black circles, i dont know what…

Ok so i'm changing the substage again. I also changed jobs. I work for a shop now that sells mostly cadence and RE/US Amps. Mainly RE for subs and cadence for mids and highs. So i'm looking at a system rebuild. Probably XXX comps for my Mids and hi's I only have a front stage. Gonna leave the Sundown SAX100.4 on them for the time being. So heres where it boils down. I'm looking to make some NOISE minimum 150s but be able to blend them into the system as well for daily driving. I'm looking at either 2 SX 10s or possibly 1 XXX or MX 12. Okay looking into the US AMPS MD 2D. I see that it does 1500w at 1 ohm. I need it to power 2 10" Fi SSDs. Will the MD 2D actually produce 1500w at 1 ohm?

What makes a AX2000HC worth $1000 more than a AX2000? I know that volts x amps = watts. I have been told that a AX2000 produces 600 watts at 4 ohms and that a AX2000HC provides 150 watts at 4 ohms. I don't understand. Does the High Current amplifier have a extremely low voltage? Does the AX200HC have a much better power supply contained in the same size package? What IS the difference? I know from experience that US Amps builds a heavy duty amplifier, but specs don't help me understand what I am getting for my money.

what size power wire would the md2d take cause i have a Rockford 4 gauge now and i want to know do i need to upgrade to a 0 gauge b4 i get the amp if i don't have 2 i wont so plz help

will md3d's work on a 16v system? do they need to be modded? please let me know, running 4 of them to 8 RE 15's in an astro van, upgrading battery/electrical system and would be nice to know for planning. Thanks! Greg

I Have A MLT setup and I want to know the advantages of this setup.I have two md3d going to two 13w7's. Under this setup I have one md3d going to my subs and the other is a slave amp.The advantage I have with this setup is I only have to play with one gain on the amp which is good and also when I had played with both amps before I have to make sure that both amps were even on the gain so the subs would move the same.Now with the new setup the subs are more even when they are under excursion so better sound.It seems that the subs hit harder and cleaner. :bigclap:
