Hey guys, I've been looking for a reputable and reliable car shipping company, I need to get my car from Kansas city mo to Wichita falls Tx which is only like 8 or so hours away.. The reason I need it my parents moved to Florida so I no longer have a way of getting home from the airport when I fly home since my base is about 3 hours from home. Any suggestions of companies that are reputable and fairly priced? My car is a 2011 mustang if that helps any Thanks guys! Ps military discounts are welcomed :peepwall:

Hello i have a 1992 volvo 240 wagon upgraded my amp from a aq 2200d to a Cresendo bc 3500d. Ordered a 275ohio alt was working great for 2months then stopped working sent it back to ohio had the alt looked at by the technician said it was working fine. This past Sunday I had to remove a couple audio wires in my car that ran from my dash to trunk. I removed the driver's seat so I could lift up the carpet at the driver's feet. When I lifted up the carpet the foam padding under it was completely soaked, dripping wet. My power wires are ran under the body through the frame rails. I never drilled any holes in the firewall or floor. -The soaked area was at the driver's feet and up near the pedals. I did not check the passenger side. -The drain tube for the a/c does not appear to be clogged. -It has rained heavily within the past week -I have used my a/c within the past week. -My blower fan does not sound like it is sloshing …

What have you used, what did you like about them, what didn't you like about them, how much were they, where did you buy them, all that stuff. Road I'm going to be using is going to have a ton of snow and is constantly foggy both morning and night (it's right near the river). You know me, I'll sacrifice a bit of performance for price. I'm not going to shell out big bucks for something that's just going to get smashed by rocks anyway. And I flat out don't give a fudge if "your buddy" has such and such of fog light and he thinks they are the best thing in the world but you think they suck and are for ricers. Don't even bother commenting. It's a different story when you'r…

As Of 10 Minutes Ago, We Have Dropped The Trailer With Truck On In The Front Yard, As Of Daylight, There Will Be Pics. My Dad Bought This Truck When He Was 14. It Was In Beautiful Shape Then. Buick Wildcat 430-4 Motor. (Bad MF'er) He Sold It When He Was 16. He's Regretted It Ever Since. My Dad Was Born In 1964 So You Can Figure For Yourselves How Long This Has Been. And As Fate Would Have It, He Drove By A '55 Apache At Dean's House For Sale. (Old Hotrodder Stuck In The 50's, Severely. Hair And All.) He Looked At It, Asked Dean Some Questions On It, And Then He Saw What Made This Truck Unique, What Was His Stamp On It, He Knew It Was His. He Had '67 Impala Taillights In I…

New coils with a small spacer up front on Bilstien 5100 shocks. Add a Leaf in the rear, again with 5100's. Added a new Tom Woods one piece drive shaft. Supposed to be 3 inches taller at the suspension, but it is taller than that all around. Overall ride is better than stock. Woot!

Does anybody have any good detailing tips, or products, to get professional results? I detail high end show cars, as well as daily drivers, and I'm always looking for that next best thing to come along. Right now I'm currently using the Greot's Garage, best of show, and boss system, to leave my customers cars with that wet concourse finish. I also use their black shine tire and trim spray to leave all the plastic, and rubber parts, shining better then new. Believe it or not, but you can actually improve a brand new car inside and out with the proper techniques, and products.

i had a hornet security system installed in my car, baught and installed at circuit city... its been in almost a year now. last weekend my car sat for 2 days while i was visiting my gf. alarm was armed, no light were left on. battery was deadafter 2 days. i thought it was the cold so i took it to walmart, they tested everything and said it could be going bad or something is draining from the battery. my dad bought a new battery and all was fine. like i said i thought it was the cold weather giving it a hard time. so anyways last night i accidentally armed the alarm (not knowing if it was the draining the battery or if previous battery was just dying on its own) and my bat…

This weekend, I blew the head gasket in my 96 Volvo 850 GLT.. in a rather NASCAR-style way. I was cruising 45mph and suddenly smoke everywhere, completely filled the cabin of the car with windows down, and I could barely see the car behind me. I'm pretty sure it's the head gasket, sounds fine running it, but just tons of smoke pours out the exhaust. Anyway, I'm looking for a newer used car (2006'ish), somewhat sporty (~200hp+), preferably a manual (doesn't have to, but preferably). I have no clue what my credit is, however I recently paid off my credit cards to $0 (from about $5k total) and only had a couple monthly required payments, so my credit *should* be pretty g…

alright so today we were drivin and all the sudden something under the passenger side started clicking. you could feel it on your feet. if felt like the tire had a knot in it or something. so we kept driving and we stopped a cvs for about 10 minutes. when we left cvs we turned right and then the right side started clanking and grinding. it was loud. so everytime we turned right it started doing this. when the brakes were hit it stopped making the noise. so we finally got home and let it sit for about an hour and then went to the gas station and now its doing it on both sides. i have no idea what it is. im thinking maybe the cv joints or ball joints? i dont really know…

So after doing extensive research and a good number of Saturdays driving to go see different cars, yesterday something happened. Leading up to it, our favorite was the E320, a rock solid car, loads of safety features, good performance and the '96 - 2002 is one of the best ratted and most reliable used cars PERIOD. But the problem is that this car is to replace Amanda's 2 door civic, and I took her to test drive a few good examples of 99's or newer E320's. She felt intimidated by them, was nervous to drive them and struggled at first to park one. So we checked out the c230 Kompressor, it was too small for what we wanted and does not have as good a track record as the E…

Alright, first off I blame Nick and Quentin for this. The engine never made a sound until I was chatting with them last night. LOL, just kidding guys, I figured it was coming. I had that nagging gut feeling, even when we were talking last night. Okay, background for those who are confused, I got a call from a friend a couple of weeks ago needing some help and pulled out of a flooded area after some particularly heavy rains. He's a good friend so I didn't hesitate to go help him. On the way there, on a completely different road in a completely different area, AND one that's not normally prone to flooding problems I dropped down a hill and came around a turn with no…
