Okay so Im restoring my pickup. I but new brake lines on. (Rubber ones) and started to go bleed the brakes. Okay so, The right front brake bled just fine, with no pedal presusre, Went to bleed left front, no pedal pressure but since the right front bled fine I figured it would do it again. I took the bleeder valve off to see if it was clogged and it wasnt. But i blew it out anyway. When I took the valve off, It had brake fluid on it. But nothing came through...... Any suggestions? I just ordered these LED Switchbacks For my 01 Limited Edition. I'm hoping they will match my HID's perfectly and will look amazing. I have read you have to use these, LED Load Equalizers, so that you don't get the "Hyper blink". So I picked up a pair of those as well. I'll post fill review, with video soon as I get them and my new HID Fog lights in.

Started side-tracking a thread with Mr. Bob, so I'm dragging it back over here. It's been a good many years since I got the parts and built it so I don't remember the specifics, but basically a high compression N/A 383. Only was able to get it to the track once last year. Pep Boys Z-rated tires from 2002, mail-order tune, stock shifter, stock suspension, "granny shifted" etc., ran a 12.8 @ 114 MPH. Hoping with a couple small changes, like oh, traction, a tune, I can get it to dip into the 11s. Couple pics. No exciting videos, sorry. But, at least you can see it runs now...LOL

On Feb. 2nd, 1992, a brand new sand / mocha colored Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 joined the family. This may be my fair well to a terminally ill old friend. Over the years the Mocha Monster had many little changes and tweaks (engine/suspension/exhaust/system the list goes on). I passed my drivers test in her with a perfect score, while all the other people in line in their rinky compacts failed to repeat that glorious performance. She has safely carried me for over 215k miles, and has covered every eastern state as well as most central states. Hauled countless soccer and ultimate frisbee players to endless tournaments in all weather at all hours, only faultering once. A …

Other than your eyes, if you're using one - what are you using and how much did it cost you ? And, of course ... your opinion.

If anyone's looking for a cheap alternative. I've been wanting to try and clear my headlights up, they were all yellow and foggy. I did some searching around online and used some ideas for a mixture that came out sweeet. 1. I put two large squirts of shampoo in a cheap spray bottle, filled it with water, shook it, then added a few capfulls of bleach. 2. Sprayed a rag with the mix and squirted a good bit of toothpaste with whitening on the rag. (the grit in the toothpaste is what really helps) 3. Sprayed the headlights with the mix real good and scrubbed the toothpaste on with the rag. Kept spraying the light with the mix and adding toothpaste when needed. Did so for about…

so among the many things that can and will go wrong(i.e. wife and son in hospital sick, daughter with my maw maw sick, a damn hurricane) , my car is crapping out. the mechanic diagnosed it with a bad throttle body. 900 from dealer, 730 on internet, and a whopping $24 from a junkyard...if i can find one; no luck so far. the part that troubles me is that in additon to this problem, the mechanic tells me he concerend about my engine. i have 93,000 miles and he said the engine is wearing out as if has double or triple that. i bought the car in September of 05 as a demo with 27,000 on it. i can attest that in the last seven years, the car has been regularly maintained and serv…

I'm looking to get a new chevy malibu 2LT with the v6 option to replace my 2004 blazer. i'll be commuting to school this fall round trip 60 miles a day for 4 days. in my blazer that would cost me 50 a week not including any extra driving for work or anything else. Does anyone know any problems with them? i can do a car turn in, gm employee discount and get the other typical deals that dealerships offer and pay about $225 a month for 5 years before its mine. any problems with this idea at all? the main reason i'm going with Chevy is because i have never not had an american car let alone a GM. dad worked for gm for 20 years and i would only jump to ford if they did somethi…

Title says it all Im looking for something that is a crossover. To give you an idea, I was looking to get the Saturn Vue 2nd generation (which means 2008 or later) I was really just a few steps from buying it. Its a nice looking car and the fact that is american and no fancy dash makes it easy for me to put my audio stuff. But then this thought of Saturn cars been discontinued kept going around me. I dont know how this will affect me in the future. So then started looking around and found what I consider IMO one of the best looking crossovers ever. The Mercedez ML 350. That car is just beautiful. Now, with this one I dont know if its worth the trouble I might have when it…

I want to lower my fusion but not sure if it'll work with the system's weight. I don't know anything about suspensions but if the weight of my system is already lowering the rear of my car will a lowering kit lower it even more and cause rubbing or bottoming out? Here's the lowering springs by steeda. http://www.steedafusion.com/parts/steeda-ford-fusion-lowering-springs-555-8306/

I plan on getting one very soon, and was wondering about how much trunk/hatch space is there, roughly. Ive searched online, but they only give the total volume size of the entire cabin. Any help would be appreciated. Sizes for the width, depth and the height of the lowest part of the hatch(planning my system ahead of time....obsessed...lol ) Thanks in advance

I have been trying to research this but the answers i get are from one extreme to another. I have been told not to talk to my insurance company about this so i do not know who to actually talk to, ask, etc to assume the information i get is accurate. So, hopefully someone on here and tell me or lead me to the answers. I am curious about disconnecting the Air Bag Compressor on the top passenger side of the car. IF this thing deploys, it will only cause more harm than good. I'll leave the driver side connected and steering wheel connected, just passenger side compressor i want off. I get answers from insurance wont cover me if i get in a wreck. It's legal to disco…

Well, it seems it's always something when it comes to my exotic builds.. Now, all 3 companies who manufactured shocks for the newer Gen Scion xB have all been pulled and discontinued without reason! Talking with a performance retailer, Tokico has went as as far as discontinuing all shocks for all scion vehicles as of 2014 without reason. I don't know what's going on but something is up.. So, I need a source, sources that I can contact about custom shocks. I need it as a backup. I do not know if the current stock shocks are equipped to handle the new coil springs and won't know for some time until installed. I do not know stock spring rate but current spring …

It seems the Mercedes CLS can be either a coupe or sedan, depending on what seems most appropriate at any given moment. To Mercedes, it's a cool coupe. To German's Brabus, it's a sedan. Why? Because the tuner's CLS-based Brabus Rocket hit a speed of 227 mph (362.4 km/h) this week, making it the fastest "sedan" in the world. The car has a twin-turbo V12 engine from the latest Mercedes 600 models, pushed to an incredible 730 horsepower. The car also offers the fastest acceleration for any "sedan"

I was reading a thread on fullsizechevys.com about these things. NOTHING but great reviews. Everyone seems to love them and with the cheap $40 price tag you cant go wrong. I will probably buy a pair since the burb bounces around like crazy. They arent just for GM's, they will fit any leafspring vehicle as far as i know of. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?...h.asp&x=28&y=11

Hello! I was hoping some guys could help me with some simple opinions on what you would do! I ride a 2010 Buell Lightning xb12ss and I was thinking about changing the headlights and ran across some possibilities that i think are rather cool! Problem is that there are different color options and i just can't decide! All color options require some custom fitting in the headlight assembly housing. First, for reference, there will be a pic of the bike! (old, before some visually appealing mods were done) Then some pictures of the different lights im considering. What i would like is for people to state what they think would look best! Either pick a color, or simply tell me to…

make sence ??? in my black lincoln i cooked rectifires left and right.. so much so that i kept a spare H/O alt i would switch them out and rebuild as needed about every 3 months,. so this time im looking not to have to do so .. i m looking to gain the power im loseing to heat back.. and NOT cook my factory, nor my H/O when i get it. let me know.. ok here goes Alternators make AC (alternating) current using a bridge rectifier with diodes to convert that AC current into DC (direct) current for use by the vehicle's electrical system. When your alternator's voltage regulator senses the need for electricity the regulator tells the alternator to start making electrical…
