If their is, what is the bolt pattern difference between a 1997 GMC Truck bolt pattern and a 1996 Dodge Ram bolt pattern. A friend of mine has some 20"s on his 1997 GMC and he bought 22" and is going to give me the 20"s and I'm wondering if they will fit or not?

The new 'go fast car' has a meh interior, and would look really good once she gets re-painted. In the mean time what can I do to take pretty 'flat' red paint shine? She has clear coat, but doesn't have that shiny wet look I want. Can I get some tips to get it there? J

my car is kinda jacked up to put HID's in.. my head lights are huge and have bolted on covers to access bulbs for changing.. but you must remove the entire light structure and there is a1 huge block plug for all the wires.. confusing i know. i was going to drill holes for my wires and mount my ballast outside and what not.. but i was talking to a guy on youtube and he said he mounted his ballets inside the headlight structure ... there is room.. but my thoughts were how hot do the ballast get? i have never touched them to find out.. i have the small ones,. made by Xentec

Picked myself up another Neon... ya, I am beyond repair... 1997 Sport Coupe DOHC 5 spd This will be my turbo project car. The car I should have bought the first time around. There is two spots of surface rust on the passenger side, which will be attended to in the spring. Interior is soooo clean (minus the dirt from my shoes). Parking it for the winter at a co-worker's acreage. Green car will now become the beater female dog... Here are some quick pics, too damn cold out to get real ambious: And yes, the bra & those horrid foglights are leaving...

Alright guys, time to shine for those of you with your smart pants on... I have a 2003 Toyota Camry. I previously had a HID conversion kit installed on my car for just over a year. I noticed about 2 months ago one of my headlights went out on the driver's side. Not sure what had happened but when I got home I turned off my car and looked to see if maybe the connection had come loose. It didn't seem to have an issue there. I turned the car back on and turned the lights on and BAM! they worked again.. It happened one more time after that and since I figured it was a random issue I just turned the lights off and back on which got it to work again. Well, last week that same …

I've got an oil cooler behind my bumper and with this heat I noticed that if I run it hard the temperatures won't drop at highway speeds, which means I need more airflow through it. And since it's right next to the intercooler, I bet that also heats up like hell. Haven't measured IAT's so far since I don't have a sensor. Not looking for power gains, just for cooling gains in preparation for adding more power This is the current setup: And stock: About 1/3 of the intercooler is blocked off by the oil cooler. The intercooler is exactly as big as the square opening (and folded). The plastic is actually some sort of duct, used to seal off the intercooler from the crossmemb…

I figure they're another layer of protection for my ride (crackheads won't be able to get to my battery, etc..)

Just looking for a little input from people who have used or know about these certain model tires. Vehicle is the little Mazda P5. 2700lbs soaking wet, will gain a few when I finally get around to the audio. Size is 195/50/16. Currently, I am doing a lot of high way miles, much of it stop and go. No plans to track the car in the near future. Bad weather is prevalent in this area of course, but not super bad. Biggest needs are all around traction, braking, durability and light weight for the MPG'z. Price is a factor, as I have something coming that will hit me quite hard $$$ wise so I cannot get the Michelins I would like to get. Currently, only one tire is in sho…

Hey guys, I don't really get into car forums much, so I figured i'd post in here and see if you could figure something out or gimme a starting point! I'm having some "road noise" issues if you'd call them that. I'll give you the breakdown: CAR: 1995 Honda Accord EX Sedan PROBLEM: Around 2500 RPM's, I can "feel" the engine beneath my seat(the drivers) and its sort of like a buzzing/vibrating noise or feeling. Its like the engine accelerates smooth, but then as as soon as it hits that spot(2500 RPM), it feels really rough, then gets back to smooth at like 2800 RPM maybe, around there. I…

I don't know what the problem is, i'm just thinking it's ignition based. Bout 45 days ago, i got in my car and noticed the clock was reset. reset meaning battery disconnected and reconnected... when this happens it will start off at 1:00. I didn't know why it did that so i forgot about it. 1 Week later, it did it again.. but this time i was in the car when it did it. It did it WHILE i was starting the car. Things installed in the car currently- Viper alarm with immobilizer bypass and remote start. 200A solenoid (ignition turn on wire tapped off of ignition wire from radio). When it did it when i was in it, i could hear the solenoid in the back rapidly for that 1sec switch…
