Hey Everyone, I decided to start my build log now... Thing's are starting to come together and it's close to rebuild time. This is going to be my Third build for this Car and hopefully my last one as my goal is to pay off my Envoy and make it my show/fun car, and buy my Lexus IS-F that I always wanted. Well I want my back seat again so Im doing a blow through. I have a bagged 95 ext cab chevy. My sub is an 18" BTL and my amp is a Kicker KX2500.1. I have dual optimas and 0 gauge wire. Batteries and amp will be hidden under the rear seat. So i have now decided to throw up a build log as i am currently going thru a rebuild process. There is going to be a lot of work to this Daily Driver and i do not get much time to mess around with it so it will be a low build. Also since this is going to be my first large scale build i will be taking my time with it anyway. Not to mention i do not have much experience just picking up on what i get from this and other forums. I did mess around with fiberglass a little so i have little knowledge of it also. i promise, this is the final plan. i was talking with Little Jon (white van, 16 12" ssd's) and hes like just wall it, and that gave me some ideas, so i just got home, measured in the back, and this is what i came up with. of course im not sure on the port yet, or what subs, deff not gonna be like the truck though. its going to be built outside the car, and slide right in and bolt to the floor. it will be completely removeable, and the seats will be able to be put right back in, if i ever decide to take the wall out. all the side trim, etc is staying in, and nothing is getting screwd thru it, or cut, or anything like that to mess it up. it will be right up to the front sea…

I figured it was about time to finally post up this build. We've been working on it for about 2 weeks now and we are making very good progress. Well on to the good stuff!!!! My roommate and i are walling off his '04 Monte Carlo with 3 BTL 18s with 6 SAZ-1500Ds. All equipment going in the monte is: 3 BTL 18" 6 SAZ-1500D 4 sets of Fusion Reactor 6.5 comp. 2 sets of Fusion Reactor 6.5 coax. SAX-100.4 for comp. I am about to start my build log for my new car. I'm wanting to do an 18 btl not sure about anything else yet I need a cheap amp that does 2 kw rms. For mids and highs ill run 2 sets of coaxials off the deck for now will amplify them later if necessary. I just went to pull a part today and got all the carpet for the trunk. I'm gonna try to do the big 3 tomorrow. Will get and install a HU when I decide on one. I'm not sure on electrical upgrades yet ill play that by ear. Gotta get more 0 awg wire and build the box also. Will try to add pics of the trunk before and after tomorrow or tonight. Also plan on painting some interior pieces. Any feed back or suggestions …

My dcon 15" S4 just came in the mail right in time for my birthday. Decided to pick up some mdf with a few extra bucks and head to my good friends huge shop. The enclosure is i believe 3.3 cubic feet sealed with gorrilla glue. Amp is an eclipse 500w rms monoblock. here is the pictures of how it went. If you wouldnt mind giving me some advice i am slightly confused and worried, because the amp is 500w rms but with sub level at 0 and the amps bass boost around 1-2 decibals i can barely hear the dcon. i have the bass boost on the amp turned all the way up at 8db and it has awesome sq bass at all levels but i cant get slamming bass unless i crank the sub control on my deck. i…

Just doing a basic build for my work truck. I've had several build in this truck buy never a nice, complete, good sounding build. No numbers, nothing crazy, just clean sound. I chose to go with B2 on this build. Clarion double din. 1 deka g34 in stock location. 1 extra Diehard platinum under hood from the camaro. (truck has two battery positions. B2 Quattro 4 channel B2 Quota mono. 1200w @ 1ohm 2 sets of B2 components for the 4 doors B2 Reference 10" sub.

Hi All, A while back I had come up 2 designs to build for my 12" BTL. Click Here for Topic on Box Designs This next thing is quoted from the topic on the box designing. so this past week we started the build. pics below. so we started by trial and error on the kerfing. failures are below. then we finally got it right. we did .25" spacing for 4 inches, it should be a total of 17 cuts. and we also left about 1/32" of wood left. very thin. so after we got that right we finally started cutting the kerf for the other boards. we then ran into a snag with the paint can. when we opened it up it was broken. so since its easier to paint the pieces when they a…

Well, after many questions and research I guess its time to start a build log. I havent done this in over 12 years so its alittle slow going. This is going into my daily / work truck. I Recently decided to change my setup and go with a little more. I loved my 18" BTL, but it was time for a little more.
