Ok, well I have a friend that we(Acidburn & I) are doing a build for. He's got a 2006 Solara. We are going with 3 ICON 10D2s. Box Specs: Tuning: 31hz Box Volume: 4.008 ft^3 Squar Port Area: 49.5 For right now, we only have the box done. The rest of the equipment is still a work in progress. I'll update this thread as it comes in. We made the box as big as we could for the room we had to work with without loosing functionality of the trunk. Anyways, on to the pics.

well I built a center console enclosure for my truck this weekend. It's 3.1 ft^3 tuned to 32 hz for my TC sounds dvc 2 15 3k. the port is 3" x 14.5" my last enclosure was a 3.25 sealed. this is way louder yet still sounds great. (other then the new found rattles , more sound deading needed) here's a few pics. I got on a roll and forgot about pics here it is in the truck view from the drivers side back seat here's the sub it still needs more work but I ran out of time. thanks for looking Chad

Been working on my new build in my 91 318is e30 BMW. You might have seen the budget build I did on my daily beater e30. This one will have much better fidelity and volume capabilities. Here is a list of the equipment going in: HU: Clarion DXZ785USB Front Stage: Rockford Fosgate Fanatic P 6.5" components Rear Fill: Eclipse 3 way coaxials (sorry forgot the model number) Interior Amp: Performance Teknique ICBM-774 4ch amp Sub: Ascendant Audio Havoc 12 Dual 1ohm Sub Amp: Performance Teknique ICBM-Digital mono amp I went with the Havoc on the advice of a member here who had one and could give me an incredible deal on it... must say I am very impressed with it's clarity and …

this is a build for 32 sundown E8 subwoofers powered by 2 SAZ-3000D's strapped @ 2 ohms. the box is aimed at 16 cubes, but due to the damn small space i have to work with (lol i have an SUV and i said small space ), it's going to be 14-15 cubes. tuned at around 33-34 hz. give or take since i dno the exact box space. it might take a little while to get finished. i need 4 extra hands to hold some rings while i glue em in place to make sure i know where they go to fit all of them. top part of the clamshell wont be so bad as far as placement, but bottom sucks! i can only go so far out because the seats are in the way. i can only angle them to a certain extent because i cant …

Been checking out some sick installs the members have done here and thought I'd share a few of mine... fairly simple in comparison to alot of the stuff done on this board. But it sounds good and hopefully looks good to most. Did this for a customer a long time ago... about a year and a half ago now. He still has it in his car and loves it. Also installed components sealed in door panel the way they are supposed to be, not in the door skin the way bmw did it. Much better mids out of those than factory. Let me know what you think... 0.98ft^3 sealed. Takes up VERY little trunk room.

Okay, so I've been doing a little at a time for a while now, and I finally have everything together (minus the electrical upgrades- but they will be on their way shortly). I'll have to post some pics of all the equipment together in later post since I don't have it all in the same area, but heres my plans: 4 18" BTLs, 4 Memphis 4kws, and the electrical system to boot, most likely 3-4 iraggi 260s, and 6 batteries. 20ft net with interchangable ports, the main one will be tuned to 36hz (more like 36.1, but oh well) with about 240sq of port. I've been waiting to get enough pics to really start this thread, so here's my progress as of now. I'll update as progress is made, but …

I've been looking into transmission line and tapped horn enclosure for a while, but still dont know a whole lot. here is my attempt at a tapped horn design with 4 7in goldwood woofers($12 each). I have it all put together right now and it sounds really good, but its too late to turn it up real loud so that will wait till mornin. I'm not finished with the build yet though, but i was close to finishin so i decided to see how it sounded so far. If anyone knows more about the designs, and sees if I'm doin anythin wrong, I'm listenin for advice. the outside the inside bottom piece wired up to see how it sounds. 4 8 ohms woofers wired to a single 8 ohm load, g…

Have been planning this for a lil while now. Being busy with school and what not, it has been a long time coming. I finally started the other day though. Just a heads up: Being in college full time, with a ton of papers coming up soon, this will not be a fast build. Just gonna work on it when I can between class, gf, and other things until its done. What's going in: 4 DP21"s 4 SAZ-3000d's (new heat sinks) Maxx-Link 200+ ft. Tsunami Competition 1/0 (5+ 5- runs back) 9 Deka 9a31's (1 up front, 8 in back) 1 DC Power 270 amp alt (for now) 4th order designed by iamamp3pimp Other misc. things All in an '03 Expedition XLT Big thanks to …

This is my new thread since there have been some changes. I found the width I needed to do a wall and that was my original want, so that's the route I decided to go. this winter break is givin me way to much time to think of new boxes to build. right now im tryin to make somethin that will give me trunk space. What ive come up with now is a box for 4 sundown E 8's and a blown 15" audiopulse axis top assembly as a passive radiator. the box is 32x16.75x10.5 external giving an interval volume of 2.42 ft^3. that gives the recommended .6cubes each for these subs. the cone mass is 390 grams which will tune the box to 29~30 hz. does this look good, any suggestions for improvement?

Most likely a Buick Rendezevous... like last year, I'll set out tomorrow and may have one by the end of the day... but last time I ended up with an Aztek... we will see how it goes this time. I currently have 4 Adire Audio Extremis 6.4's, 2 CSS FR125S's, and 2 Vifa XT25TG30 ring radiators. I have a Kicker KX850.4 with a bad crossover on 1 channel for the 6.4's, a KX350.4 to be bridged 8ohm on the 4" full rangers, and a KX200.2 thats blown for the tweets. I can send the amps in to Kicker for repair, but I might just buy all new ZX series..IDK yet. I'll be getting some SHURiKEN SK-BT80 batteries from SicAudio, a HO alt, and proably some audiopipe ap3000d's... Alpine W200 w/…

Figured I would post this here too as I'm using a couple SSA vendor products. Bringing it back for the sealed guys. Might be a while to get this one finished up but hoping I can get it done in decent time. Going with 4 AA Havoc 15's in a sealed 10 cubic foot Fisher Customs box. Hopefully Chris or BJ can chime in with a sketchup of the box. Power will be from an American Bass 500.1 running at .5ohm. Electrical I am adding 3 powermaster d3100's, a second positive run of 1/0 and two negative 1/0 runs. Already have one run of positive, a yellowtop, and a 200amp meangreen alt installed. Frontstage (already installed) is some boston pro's on a kicker zx550.2 in sealed/damped/o…

Bit the bullet and decided to do what I have recently dreamed about, 4 Sundown SA-15's on a SAZ-3500d, around 14-16cuft with a tuneable port. Started a few days ago and here is my most recent pic, *False floor is not finished* Oh, also...the box with the 8 was a 2 minute throw together with what I had LOL BTW this is what it looks like from the outside...
