this is a build for 32 sundown E8 subwoofers powered by 2 SAZ-3000D's strapped @ 2 ohms. the box is aimed at 16 cubes, but due to the damn small space i have to work with (lol i have an SUV and i said small space ), it's going to be 14-15 cubes. tuned at around 33-34 hz. give or take since i dno the exact box space. it might take a little while to get finished. i need 4 extra hands to hold some rings while i glue em in place to make sure i know where they go to fit all of them. top part of the clamshell wont be so bad as far as placement, but bottom sucks! i can only go so far out because the seats are in the way. i can only angle them to a certain extent because i cant …

Box build is happening today, it is raining right now, waiting for it to let off to get the first layer of resin in the box... Four more cuts today, and than its just assembly and glass work. I am probably gonna order 80 sq feet of second skin soon and throw some of that in. I have already removed all of my factory speakers. All of the equipment for this build is in my signature. Will be updating throughout the day. Box is 3.68 cubic feet (before port displacement) with 69 sq inches of port. Double front baffle, countersunk screws, and completely resin'ed. Will be holding two 10" TC sounds oem's and tuned to 42 hz. So here are some pics:

Starting with an almost stock truck. 2005 Chevy Silverado Standard Cab 4x4 5.3L First the equipment. 2 db Drive K9 10"s MTX Thunder Elite 81001 Kenwood eXcelon KDC-x595 Installation First we started with 10,000k 35w HID's and legal tint. Then we installed radio, bass knob, door speakers, tweeters, and amp. Then it was BOX time! EPIC SAW!!!!

Ok this is for a buddy of mine ... I am helping him with his build in lifted 1999 F250... it will be 2 15in icons in 8cubes tunned to 32hrz with 128sqin of port. big three and dual batts aslong as amps and front stage will be determined later once funding is here.. shouldnt be longer that two months. for now it will be off a pos dhd2000 with what ever he has as frontstage and deck. here is a pic of the box tell me what u guys think and if we should go with this design the space ontop of the port is blocked to cut down the box size.. i still got .88 cubes to play with and some bracing to add.

The car is finally here. Here is just a bum load of pics, mostly old, and 4 new. More to come once I do more. So far all I've done is solder the CD player harnes, run wires, and figure out how I'm going to mount the speakers. And now for some new Pimp Mobile Needs sound deadening. My current setup is ok, but I think it is time to take things to the next level. My current project is upgrading to an active front stage. Later I hope to add another 12" GCON or maybe upgrade to a 15" XCON. Anyway, I got my HU and I am waiting for my seas 7" woofers to arrive. As soon as I get paid I will be ordering the tweets. Then the fun begins! I installed the 80prs and ditched the passives on my entry level BA comps. After an hour or so of tweaking The sound is WAY better! Well, I finally got around to taking pictures. I'm a senior at my school, so pretty much I have free reign over the wood shop. Haha. I got started about a week ago on this box, but just kept forgetting to take pictures along the way, and luckily after talking to Nick at IA I remembered to bring my camera to school today. So far the box has 7 layers of glass (with a layer of fleece coated in resin on both sides), and I have yet to figure up exact specs, but I'm estimating around 2.5 cubes with a 6" aero that will be tuned to probably 34 hz. I'm not sure if I've made a log for this or not, but here we go. We have here my shops 1994 Isuzu Pick up truck. Old system, 12 db Drive K9 10"s on 3 db Drive A73500's. Metered 157's at 54Hz and honestly sounded like doodoo. Here we have the first quick sketch I did after seeing Scott Bowemans truck in a video. Picking up the first 1/2 of the birch plywood we needed for the build. We jump forward a bit here to half way with the box. 1/4" Steel angle iron to hold the baffle in place and help keep box together. We have the baffle in. Sealed with wood glue, then silicon over the metal and all seams. Wires for the subs ran and cleaned up a little. Bolts for the wire to…

Well yesterday finally got descent weather to let the kids play outside so I can work on my build. Yesterday I was able to start with the sound deadner I had purchased several months ago. I am going to have to order more I did not have enough. Also I am going to order the SDS deadner next time. I have read alot of good things about don and his product and he responeded within hours of my email about his products. enough talking here are my pics. So excited to get this started. My dcon 15" S4 just came in the mail right in time for my birthday. Decided to pick up some mdf with a few extra bucks and head to my good friends huge shop. The enclosure is i believe 3.3 cubic feet sealed with gorrilla glue. Amp is an eclipse 500w rms monoblock. here is the pictures of how it went. If you wouldnt mind giving me some advice i am slightly confused and worried, because the amp is 500w rms but with sub level at 0 and the amps bass boost around 1-2 decibals i can barely hear the dcon. i have the bass boost on the amp turned all the way up at 8db and it has awesome sq bass at all levels but i cant get slamming bass unless i crank the sub control on my deck. i…
