Starting with an almost stock truck. 2005 Chevy Silverado Standard Cab 4x4 5.3L First the equipment. 2 db Drive K9 10"s MTX Thunder Elite 81001 Kenwood eXcelon KDC-x595 Installation First we started with 10,000k 35w HID's and legal tint. Well i started this tonight. I'm still up in the air between picking either Sundown SA 10's, or Skar Audio VVX 10's. I'm kinda of leaning toward the Skars, simply because not many people have the 10's, and i see a lot of SA10 single cab truck installs. But anyway, the box is 2.4 cubes net with 2 4" PVC pipes (flared at the end) tuned to 33 hz. Will finish the box in the next couple of days, but still need to sell me current sub to buy the new ones. Anyone have suggestions on what kind of 10's i should run? I'll be putting about 1300-1400 wrms to the pair. And, is the little "blocker bar" in front of the port a good idea with the port being only about 7" from the sub? i'v…

Hello Guys, I dont have any real pictures yet, but iv decided to get a little hype going for my first ever build. So heres what is going to be happening. Iv got a 2004 Impala, Currently with a set of Infinity 5.25 Reference components and Pioneer 6x9 coaxials in the back, powered by a PG Ti 500.4.. I had 2 Alpine Type X 10" and sold them. Now what will be happening with my current setup is as follows -Removing rear 6x9's to make room for my box in the trunk. -Replacing Infinity's with Bravox CS50k's -Keeping PG Ti 500.4 to power Bravox's -American Bass VLF 100.1 to power the subwoofer -18" Fi BTL N2 in the trunk, tuned to 32hz. With the help of fellow ssa members, especially Sean, Brad, and Lithium; I've been able to narrow down my choices to the following equipment. 2 Exodus ex-anarchy, playing double duty (midbass, midrange) 2 Peerless hds tweeters 1 Eclipse ea4100 4 channel amplifier 1 Jbl ms8 The plan is mounting each ex-anarchy and hds tweeter in the kick. MS8 and 4channel amp will be mounted in the cargo area, next to rear battery.

I didn't get any pictures during the process (camera was down and decided to not come on until it was all done). But the box is 3.3 cubic feet with 48 sq in of port tuned to 32 hz. This is also the first time i've ever done a kerf port, and i thought it turned out pretty good. Questions? Comments?

hey guys, i am FINALLY getting my mustang back from doing a t5 swap. when i do get it back (hopefully tomorrow ) i am putting a oldschool kicker zr240 amp and a 3.5CF ported box that came with the IA flatlyne 15 i bought. now im still not sure on what to put in the box. the IA 15, or try out one of my solo x's for a few days just for shits and giggles lol. the car has pioneer speakers all around with a pioneer HU.the mustang is not my everyday driver but it will be drivin a lot considering it will be getting rather cold out here soon. the alternator may be the stock one from '73 (the car has a 302 out of a '73 gt) but im not sure so im kind of worried about the output …

We found a huge pile of scrap plywood, and said hey, we could sure use more bass =P It is ~1.3cuft sealed and the ported section is 12.5 cuft before displacements. It is an 8ohm aspire audio 10" subwoofer. We are picking up a bash 300w amp by the end of the month. Tuned to 28hz. Me in the box.... Inspiration for the project =P Super sweet port ends. Well I started building me a new subwoofer box for my fusion powerplants FPW 1200. figure ill post some pics of it on here. It was design by nightmareaudio.com accept for the plexiglass window I put that in. Here is my 2000 camaro SS i bought a few weeks ago. not wasting any time making it better! Car has a ton of bolt on performance goodies as well as suspension goodies. T-tops 6-speed. Im sure gearheads worldwide are going to hate me for this but **** em! Its my car and i bought it to do exactly this. Im not going to lead on too much about all the equipment im using for this build. Well guys, I used to be on this forum day and night last year and for some reason went stupid and sold everything I had audio wise (cept my ufo btl, its not leavn). But I have convinced myself and a little nudges from buddies that I am back in the game. This will be going into a 1997 Grand Am GTs trunk....I also just aquired a 2 door blazer which if I dont sell will be getting a real build. I would not call this a true build log as most of the work is already completed, but of course I am proud of the work I have done to the vehicle. Long time no see. Gonna bring you up to speed on a current project I have going on. It's an 07 Silverado xcab on 24s. I am putting all Crescendo in this where I can. I figured I may as well post up my daily over here. It's a 1996 Cadillac Seville STS that I just acquired. So far a have a lil temporary setup installed. The type X 10" will be getting reconed shortly, or I may just throw two SA-12's in the car. I have already been rear ended in the short time of owning the vehicle, and have replaced all the parts.
