Just to get a feel. my setup is 1 fi btl 18" with a rockford t30001bd wired to 1 ohm. my old box was 9.xx cubes tuned to 32 hz but i thought it was too large so i am building a box that is 7.8cubes after displacement tuned to 30 hz. I had a thread on here a while ago but just decided to start a new one. I really only have been updating the build log on DIYMA but I'm bored so I am making a new one here. System consists of CD1-Pro Mini Horns for the Tweeters, X69 for the mids, and a Kicker IX500.4 bridged to each pair. That is what is in right now. Right now I just started on an Infinite Baffle set up to mount 2 15" Dayton HFs. BTW I know pics of the car will be requested so when I clean her this weekend I will post some new ones up.

I didn't get any pictures during the process (camera was down and decided to not come on until it was all done). But the box is 3.3 cubic feet with 48 sq in of port tuned to 32 hz. This is also the first time i've ever done a kerf port, and i thought it turned out pretty good. Questions? Comments?

Low miles FTW! Interior Next logical step was the radio. At this point I had no idea what I was doing for the substage. All I had were my 2000's. A friend of mine called me with the offer to buy his BNIB DD 9518Z for an amazing price. So I jumped on it. So I knew what was going in there. Just had to powe…

So, most of the parts are in. There's some fabricating that still needs to be figured out, but what the heck. Let's get the show started. Here is a pic of the ride: 2004 Suburban Work Truck Edition. It's white and has a rubber mat instead of carpeting on the floor. The interior, vinyl. 5.3 V8 and it's 4WD. The main source is a Alpine IVA-NAV-1 with a pair of Concept headrest monitors for the rear passengers. No pics yet Here is the front stage: Precision Power 355cs components in q-logic kicks, but wait there's more. o_o Can you guess what these are? One more pic.

This is just a get loud build. And loud it is. SQ was out the window before the pen hit the paper in discussions about this build. So don't tell me it will sound bad.

We found a huge pile of scrap plywood, and said hey, we could sure use more bass =P It is ~1.3cuft sealed and the ported section is 12.5 cuft before displacements. It is an 8ohm aspire audio 10" subwoofer. We are picking up a bash 300w amp by the end of the month. Tuned to 28hz. Me in the box.... Inspiration for the project =P Super sweet port ends. Catt says: "I do believe that this right here, this is a subwoofer" Long day =) I found the bass....yes......in here..... The first two members of Lurking Skarred

I would not call this a true build log as most of the work is already completed, but of course I am proud of the work I have done to the vehicle. I invite you all to take a look at my gallery in the Sentra Stereo album. Any and all feedback is welcome. This is my first build of an entire car on my own. Of course we are never truely finished with stereos now are we? haha. Things I do plan on adding down the road is a new XS power battery and an H.O. alt for the system and I will be done as far as the electrical goes. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and if there are any comments, suggestions, or any tips/tricks feel free to enlighten me of course. 2004 Nissan Sentra Bu…

I've waited til I accumulated almost all of the parts before making this build log. This is my 1999 Chevy Blazer ZR2: I got it right around 2 months ago, and have been slowly accumulating audio parts for it. I took care of the important things first (fluid flushes, new hoses, new filters, oil change, fix rear differential leak, etc) so it took a bit longer than expected. The truck itself has a 2" shackle drop and nearly as much torsion bar crank and 31" Cooper STTs. I haven't had the time to take her off-road yet, but that's going to change very soon . The equipment list is as follows: Sundown SAX 100.2 Sundown SAE-1000D SSA Icon 15D2 Polk MOMO 6.5" Components Alp…

Hi, This will be the first build log I have ever made. Been on the forum for years and have gathered a lot of my knowledge and expertise from this forum. I have been working on audio system for about 4 years now, and have had many different setups in my Saturn with each just getting louder and better. It has been a journey. This is my current system and my latest build i may also throw some build pics in from my last system. ENJOY AND COMMENT! Ok so finally the build is on! My car has been in the shop for two months getting an engine swap(95 2.2 n/a in a 91). So anyway this is my first time every logging a car stereo build. I'm not new to forums but I am new to this car audio forum. Here's a shot of the parts: I've already started removing the dash and old Eclipse HU that was in the car. Supposibly the kid I bought the car from bought the car from a car stereo installer. I can confirm that by the very nice previous install of the HU. All twisted wiring cut to length. Here's a shot: This is what it looks like under the hood: Ok back to it...more to follow...! MR2
