Car - 2000 Mustang Amp - Audiopipe AP1500D sub - 10" Mach5 iXL box - .9 cubes net tuned to 34hz I was going to try for a T-line but theres no room to get a bigger size box really into the trunk and the girlfriend wanted a fairly small sized box so yeah. I just cut out the speaker hole. The port still needs to be glued in. more to come.

Ok this build is up on most of the forums but I figured I'd put it up over here as well. There are a lot of pictures so I'll try and only put the important ones in here... Here are the first 2 peices... Working around the stupid hump in the back wall. Here is a picture of the back, this is at a slight angle which is causing all sorts of hell with trying to line everything up. Another shot Once again, those are all test pieces. The only "good" pieces I have are in the first 2 pictures. Pretty much the bottom, back, and the small hump. Another close up of the internal driver side. Shot of the drivers side. All those pieces are finished. Internal of the driver…

Vehicle is 1992 volvo 240 wagon The goal of this build was to get loud on the mids and highs and get as loud and low as possible on two 12's!!!!!!!!!First box for this system was really nice but not enough port area so the bl's werent liking it very muddy sounding wasnt happy so i pulled out my old box and trimed it up to fit the vehicle and it was a perfect match up. BIG install coming soon!.... This is my first build out....the only experience i have with glass are with the 2 kick pods i have in there now and it was a learning one! They turned out great but i made the mistake of drilling a big hole through the back to port them...oooops! They made $800 dollar comps sound like a gramaphone....so I'm making new ones. Along with, 2 pods on rear of the headliner, 2 amp racks on the rear panels and 2 enclosures above the wheel well. The equipment... After much deliberation, I have finally laid down the plan for my project build. I planned to do a trunk build, but decided I was trying to stuff to much crap in a very limited space. Deciding to put the enclosure inside the passenger area led me to consider a wall build, but this is my daily driver. So, a below the window line, Super Stock class build this will be. Talk about jumping into the deep end. After torturous deliberations, I decided to go for SB2 and stopped flirting with the idea of ETHOS 15's and committed to an EVIL 18 . Yes, the wait is long and is killing me, but I still have much to do before it gets here. This was the first arrival: This is my Mech…

I think its a Chevy... Anyway, Joel has done a fair bit of customizing on this unit and will continue to do so through this winter. As the first pic shows he has removed the door handles, replacing them with an electronic system that ties into his Viper car alarm. He also did some front and back end frame work. This picture does the truck paint job no justice whatsoever - you would have to see it live to appreciate it The next shot shows the interior with the back seat ripped out. He will also be ripping out his single 12" Diamond Audio sub, replacing it with two SPL-15's. The cap will also go, but the nice Audison 1kw amp stays to power the front stage The next s…

What's up guys so I started construction and completed my box for 2 12's. Gonna be used for dss ethos 12. Port is 4x20 and box net was 5.99. I used 12volt to see how long I need it for 32hz. It said 27.75 but I rounded up to 28. But I wasn't too sure on how to go about it since it's gonna have 2 bends. I researched it and it sounds super confusing, some saying gotta have the correction part at the end. But I found some that said just measure up the middle so that's what I did to achieve 28" Could you guys she'd some info on if it's correct. If not, could you tell me what frequency I'm at. Alright thanks guys

Hey guys as promised started the center console build for two Fi Q 10s. Box specs changed quite a bit because of a too tall center console cushion, but it actually worked out better, I can now make it look a little more one off custom. Box Specs: H:14 W:15 L:30 Net Volume: 4 Inch Dimpled Precision Port Tuned at a hair under 28 Hz Box material was 23/32 Auracco Baffle was doubled for 1.5 inches Here are some pics, the box will be braced with some 1 inch dowels and polyfill will get wrapped around the body of the port along with the exterior being stained to match trucks woodgrain and hand rubbed to a mirror finish. Call me crazy but i cannot figure out how to post p…

In one of my intro threads I remarked it was like an old addiction. Seems as of late well for over 13 years I've mended my ways and laid down my desires for my family. What started as just a small system has resurrected the monster. I have a few goals intended for this system they are: 1. Create a clean install which is removable with minimum effort. After all this is our family car. 2. Target db level 145 3. Modular design to accept several boxes and yet remain SANITARY in installation. 4. Kid proof Covers to prevent kids from dropping stuff in ports (one reason the passive radiator is one of the designs) 5. Design for double the electrical draw. On hand purchased …

Here's my system. Not much exciting going on. 2008 Saturn Vue Stock HU Stock door speakers MTX RFL600D 12" Adire Audio Shiva in 1.21 cubic feet sealed The factory speakers sound pretty good, but are little harsh. I do plan on replacing them in the future, but they will hold me over for now. The HU will probably stay. Onto the pics. Like I said, not much, but it will hold me over for a while. The bass knob is way under the dash and is kind of hard/dangerous to adjust while driving (most of my driving is done at 65 mph). I'd like to move it to the center console somewhere so it's right there within arms reach, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing it.…

Well i finally got my truck and got my SAZ-1000D in and my 10" SSA icon. Man it sounds good. I have never heard a sub with such accuracy and overall sound quality. It has a lot of output for a little 10 and i am very happy with it. Anyways this set up is temporary until i build a new box and find somewhere to stick the amp. Box is 1.35^3@32hz. Its pretty good for my 3rd box i would say and i designed it myself. Just got to figure out if im gunna carpet it or paint. Edit - Also my first install that i did everything myself and its still not done. On to the pics - The truck - 01' GMC Sierra with 47k miles. So far all i have done is get the windows tinted and the sub in. …
