Im thinking i want a new air of dcon 12s but need some box plans or suggestions on how to build the box for the sub.... i want it to be a fast build cause im and impatient person so if someone has any box plans already for dual 12 dcons in a ported box.. could i bum them from you? if not my room i can work with is Height 21" Depth at bottom 28" Depth at top 20" Length 39" Any suggestion or help is much appropriated Thank.

My dcon 15" S4 just came in the mail right in time for my birthday. Decided to pick up some mdf with a few extra bucks and head to my good friends huge shop. The enclosure is i believe 3.3 cubic feet sealed with gorrilla glue. Amp is an eclipse 500w rms monoblock. here is the pictures of how it went. If you wouldnt mind giving me some advice i am slightly confused and worried, because the amp is 500w rms but with sub level at 0 and the amps bass boost around 1-2 decibals i can barely hear the dcon. i have the bass boost on the amp turned all the way up at 8db and it has awesome sq bass at all levels but i cant get slamming bass unless i crank the sub control on my deck. i…

Greetings from Venezuela. This is my first topic in the forum and it's my first serious work on my car. so I would love for their opinions and to clarify my doubts. I have a pair of DD subwoofer amplified ap1500.1 1512th and the great problem I have with the box because I get 4 cubic feet net excluding subwoofer or the port, including low I get 3 cubic feet net internal excluding Port and I believe that less than 1.75 feet low with 1500 rms not going to pay anything.

Here goes to the start of deadening my 02 Z71. Lots of deadening going in. 155 Sq ft. Raammat 5 or 6 Yards Ensolite 5 gallons and 1 quart of Spectrum GM's way of trying to stop you from removing the rear bolts on the front seats an 11mm 12 point did the trick. Also the front nuts on the front seat are removable with 15mm 12 point. Carpet is not so clean lol When I saw this clip for the first time I thought "I'll come at you like a spider monkey!" The rear light needs to be removed before dropping the headliner to disconnect the light More pics to come

I thought it might be fun to chuck this up here. The lada has moved on now, but it was a great learning experience. The idea behind the lada was to learn more about SPL, learn about walls and apply some theoretical knowledge I had. I covered SS 1-2NW, Street Max 1-2 with 1 sub, then a second sub. In the end, I maxed out at 152.6dB which I thought was quite good off 1 batt and a 4000D. well, havent started the install, still waiting on the battery terminals, some ring terminals, d block, comps, some speaker wire, and of course gotta find an install sleeve and trim ring the douchebag didnt send me with the HU, got some lined p just waiting to see if the guy ever gets back to me. but heres some pics. I am also probably going to wait til I get some CLD tiles for the doors to install the comps, and the box is going to be somewhere around 3-3.5 cubes at 32-35. still gotta make a decision on that. but heres some pics of what Ive gotten so far. the odd sub is just a RF S212S4 to compare the size of it.

Well yesterday finally got descent weather to let the kids play outside so I can work on my build. Yesterday I was able to start with the sound deadner I had purchased several months ago. I am going to have to order more I did not have enough. Also I am going to order the SDS deadner next time. I have read alot of good things about don and his product and he responeded within hours of my email about his products. enough talking here are my pics. So excited to get this started. Here's the build log for the volvo so far already have the box built and the subs thumping thanks to "SirLancelot" Running two 12inch fully loaded Fi BL'S! Box is tuned in the 32half hz mark. about 4.4cubic feet all togther after displacement and some bracing(2.2cubic per sub). i recently bought the ssa icon 18'' and and ive been through all kind of boxes with my charger and seems like it is nothing but a bass sponge back there. so i was wondering about this in my new build, i plan on sealing the box off from the trunk in maybe a 5 or 6cuft sealed box, ive tried ported but im just not getting the results i want, which previously it sounded better sealed. so basiclly all im asking is do u think a sealed box for this 18'' will sound good sealed of from the trunk? any help is appreciated.

Im putting a system in my 2003 QC dodge pickup. Im putting in a 10" XCON and a Black Ice 1300.1 Amp which measures in at 16x8.25x2. I plan to raise the back seat a little over an inch with steel square tubing i have. I have 3/4" MDF, lifetime supply of 2oz cloth, liquid nail wood glue, and all of the odds and ends i need to build the setup, but im stuck on how i should shape the box/place the amp. I originally planned to do a setup just like this, until today when i remembered i had a split bench rear seat! And my rear seat..
