Whats up guys, This is the 2nd box I have ever built, so bare with me if it's not the best in the world, but I am trying to do everything based on everyone's input so far. It is for a 99 Nissan Maxima, for 2 15" Type R's tuned at 38Hz. My last box was tuned at 32Hz, so I am just trying a little different sound, and if I don't like it, i'm sellin it all and gonna toy around with something new. I have Goldbond 3, Silicon 2, predrilling all my screw holes like a good boy... using 90Deg. Clamps and straight clamps Here's the pics: Just started today May 8th.... still workin on it...just letting stuff dry, then im gonna get back at it. my only question right now is how…

I figured I may as well post up my daily over here. It's a 1996 Cadillac Seville STS that I just acquired. So far a have a lil temporary setup installed. The type X 10" will be getting reconed shortly, or I may just throw two SA-12's in the car. I have already been rear ended in the short time of owning the vehicle, and have replaced all the parts. I'm also considering changing the color of the car, but it has to compliment the interior color. More than likely I will just add some pearls and candies to the original color. Ok here I go again with another truck box build. This box will be house a single 12" driver either my SI Claw Mag 12" or my Sonic FX Q 12" depending on which performs better. Specs are as follow, 2.54@30Hz 20"^2 of port Really hoping to get some gut pounding lows out of this box. My current box hits them decent but I want better more defined lows. So enough talk, on with the pics.... Just started this build tonight. Got a good chunk done. Right now everything is being dry fitted before I get all glue happy. It will be put together with screws and TightBond II. Sub will be set back into the box to allow for space for excursion. Still debating on going round or …

Hey guys this is my first attempt at an active sound system in my 2007 GMC Sierra classic body. My goals are to achieve good all around sound with a little bump at all volumes, nothing too crazy im not going to be competing. My budget was ~$1000 and plan to keep as much of the install stock looking since theft is high here in Tucson. I been piecing this together over the past few months and is getting closer to install hopefully i can start this weekend. Here is what I have as of now: Head Unit - Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD Front stage – Dayton 6 ½” Classic DC160s-4 & Dayton Classic DC28F-8 Front stage amp – Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 RCAs & Speaker wire from Mono Pri…

Been off the forums and out of the car audio word for a while now. Decided I want some more bass in my 2014 escape titanium. It has the factory Sony 10 speaker system but I need more. I originally decided on a xcon 15 and a hifonics brz1200 amp. The next day I go tab place the order and the black and blue sale starts. Now I have a death penalty 15 and ia10.1 amp on the way! I have every thing wired in the car now, 0 Guage from the battery, 0 Guage ground, and a pac ls1 up front. Found a turn on lead from the rear fuse box, and spliced into the Sony amp in the rear as well. When first checking the car to see if it can handle a stereo I found that it has a 150 am…

He does a good job My speakers. THe Mpyres are installed in the doors currently. That's MpyreAudio, Adire Koda, and RE XXX in that order shown. My car ghetto rig til box comes in My Clarion DRZ9255 already installed Well, I'll update this as things progress.

Got a single Sundown 12 on an American Bass VFL Comp 2k I recently purchased, thanks SSA, and I've mentioned before that I've been having grounding issues. Just basically absolute hell trying to get a good clean ground. Now that I think I have a decent ground I think all the money Toyota put into making these cars silent in the mid 90's is haunting me and making it a beast to try to get my full sound out of the trunk! Lol. FML!

  18. My little brother is putting a system together for this years competition season. He will be competing in USACI's street beat. Its a 2003 (I believe) Hyundai Accent. He is using a real basic pioneer deck for now with an update in the future. Two runs of 0 gauge running back to a single US-AMPS 6000 pushing a single Hyfonics Goliath 15. Here are a few pics of the progress so far. We are a little behind because of orders not coming in, but it should be done in a week or so. I used the RFL for comparison only, its the first sub to come close to its size but still just a little bigger. We are finishing the trunk in black suede and the amp will "float" behind the …

If you want to see pics of the car, they are posted in the Show Off section. Finally got her in =) and absolutley love her, but the stereo must be swapped, of course. I figured one of you guys would know, these are all I found at Lowes and I am not to happy with how to lo…

Right now it has 1.3liter 55kw carbed engine, but i have already bought new engine D16Z6 that comes with 92kw. Should be enough with this body. New Engine: I am also installing 7inch screen into dash with Raspberry pi computer that is controlled by Android phone to watch videos and play music... Raspberry and screen. Also bought lowering springs and made new front bumper for summer. On 26th march i am going to fix rust on car and repaint it. So let's get into sound... What …

This is a never ending work log that I should of thrown together months ago, but am too lazy to do. I call it work in progress because I feel as if it can never be finished. Most of it is done with, but there is always something I can do to better my install. This is my second install in my Ford Explorer, the first being a single 12" RE SX ported to 32Hz in a 3 cu. ft. box. It was powered by a RE 12.1 amp. Enough about my old install lets get back to my pride and joy. My new set-up is: (2) Two 12" Fi Q Orion 2500d CarPC 400W inverter for Playstation Lilliput Touchscreen My favorite part about my install is my false floor. I wanted to design a floor, so I could easily get…
