1.39 cubes net tuned to 39hz Double baffle top for flush mount with carpet. I am very impressed with the SDC2.5. It sounded great and got low and loud. I'll try to get the owner to get me some in vehicle pictures as I forgot to when we installed it because we were busy listening to it.

Well haven't posted up here in a while so i thought id post up what I'm doing lately. I already have 2 SA-8's on the way and I'm going to pair it up with a SAE 1000d amp or an SAZ 1000d amp (not really sure what to get at the moment). I will be wiring both of them down to 1 ohm. It's all going in a 1992 toyota pickup extended cab. Here are the specs of the box I'm designing at 32 hrtz. In the 3D photos the length should be 40" not 36". Any comments, help, or info would be appreciated. Thanks-Blake

One reason for the rebuild: Cone Area This rebuild has been in planning for awhile but it's just starting to come together now First off I wanna thank the people who made this possible; Thanks to Jacob at Sundown for having such great equipment, customer service, and for answering all my n00b questions. Thanks to Derrick (Derrick824) for helping me with the initial planning for the box, it was great working with you! Thanks to Torres, for helping me with wiring when I had no idea WTF …

Have been planning this for a lil while now. Being busy with school and what not, it has been a long time coming. I finally started the other day though. My first build was not posted here since it was before I found this awsome site but I will post a few pics of it. I recieved my Sundown SAE 1200 amp today and awaiting the 2 SSA Icon 12d1 subs. The box will be ported instead of sealed this time with subs firing up, still poundering on port location. Should I go out the side on bottom or up also? The box will be approx. 4.1 cubs tuned to 30hz. Picking up wood tomorrow after work and hopefully start cutting sat mornin. I know its alot of trial and error but if anyone has experience with extra cab trucks and port locations feel free to add. Here is the current set up in my 95 Mazda B3000 Kenwood KDC-X790 head unit JL Audio e…

Figured I'd post a build log for my truck, a buddy (John Holmes) and me are doing it. As I've said before I haven't dealt with car audio much since highschool but for whatever reason got the itch (herpes) this year. I don't really drive this truck all too often, it's primarily just used for towing although I will most likely put a few more miles on it now that it will have some sound. Did the big 3 and battery a few weeks ago but had to wait for a little nicer weather to start working on the actual sound part. Here's a quick rundown of the parts involved from front to back, it's missing stuff I know but it won't be done for a while. Front battery: Deka 9A78DT Headunit: Ec…

Hi. I plan on starting a build very soon. It will go in an '06 Jeep Liberty. I plan on revamping the whole stereo. Since this is my first system, I have been researching different products now for about 4-5 months, so I already have a general idea of what i want. I don't plan on doing install myself because i don't trust myself enough, and I really want to do this right. There are a couple good car audio shops in my area that i trust for installation. I listen to primarily rap and music with heavy bass. I have a budget of around 2,500$. A. Headunits A new headunit will be the first thing that i buy. I have researched this a lot and i think i have finally narrowed it down…

Decided to do a stupidly cheap wall build in my festiva for shits and giggles. - 8-10 PW1074US super blues - audiopipe AP30001D - some cheap batteries - some cheap ass mids and tweeters. This build log thread will just be here to show it can be done. The build will start within the next few weeks if not months when I get off my lazy ass. Until then, tune in for the next build log which will be for another member on here, shakes.

Cut the hole for the speaker. i wanted it as small as possible so it barely cleared the magnet.... i ended up having to make a slot for the wires thou I didn't get any pictures of the speaker ring but it had a roundover instead of being flat and had a kurff cut so it would bend with the dash. Nothing major just a slight bend BUT it made a huge difference in the end result. These pics are in mid sanding thou, the ring was fiberglassed to the dash popped off and i snapped some pics after the first stage of sanding After looking at it on the dash half way ready i realized the orange wasn't going to work... So i painted the speaker while the final sanding and stuff was bei…
