  4. Alright so many of you may know I've gone through several systems in the past few years that have ranged from third row boxes, third row walls, all the way to a b pillar wall. Every single one of these systems were only able to reach 150db and not more beyond that. I've decided to step it up a notch this time and stop doing 2 subwoofer setups in such a large vehicle. With that being said, here are some details. Woofers:(8) American Bass XFL 15's Box Design: 6th Order Bandpass Power: 12,000 watts, eventually 22,000 when upgraded to 16 volts Speakers: More information to come Box and design being built by Mike Singer Got rid of the old 2x4's and put a new birch wood …

  6. Okay so obvs this is NOT car audio build log, and i couldn't decide if this belongs in the Off Topic or what so fuck it Most people don't know how it's done, a lot of people ask me.. but it's to complicated to explain in a small conversation. So.. what's better then a build log? This is mainly for my SSA brothers and sisters to kill some time This is going to be a Soccer Field in Scottsdale, AZ It's 14 thousand square feet. This was originally an Inline Hockey Rink, but in AZ Soccer is SO much more popular. 8. its been awhile but i finally got my system pretty much done. still got sum stuff to do much nothing major. Im running 2 8" L7's dual 2ohm wired in 4ohm powered by 2 kicker zx450.2 amps in bridged mode. The box is 2.20 cu. ft with a L shaped port tuned to 34hz. These little 8's are sick. i had just the one 8" L7 and amp for awhile. Plus this is my first fiberglass project and i gotta say it turned out great. theres 9 layers inside and out (18 all together). need to prep for paint next but im not in a hurry just yet. so once i get the new sub broken in im gonna make a vid. so let me kno what you guys think.

Figured I'd post a build log for my truck, a buddy (John Holmes) and me are doing it. As I've said before I haven't dealt with car audio much since highschool but for whatever reason got the itch (herpes) this year. I don't really drive this truck all too often, it's primarily just used for towing although I will most likely put a few more miles on it now that it will have some sound. Did the big 3 and battery a few weeks ago but had to wait for a little nicer weather to start working on the actual sound part. Here's a quick rundown of the parts involved from front to back, it's missing stuff I know but it won't be done for a while. Front battery: Deka 9A78DT Headunit: Ec…

I just traded my stroker for a new yellowtop, so I figured it's time for me to make another install. I decided to make a 4th order cut through running one 15" opti1532d. My main reason for running lanzar is because everyone I know thinks it's trash. I guess "trash" comes with a 4 inch voicecoil and 19mm xmax. I would of cut through my rear deck, but I'm not really experienced enough to keep that setup mobile in case I needed my spare tire. I cut through my rear seat, I believe I lost output compared to the deck, but this eliminated any rattling on the interior and exterior. I've already metered her, the loudest frequency is 32 hz and she does a 140.8. on the dash and a …

So check this, my neighbors buddy J had 3 w3's and blew 2 of them.. he didn't want to wait for the warranty, shipping back and fourth and what not, so he bought new ones and gave Mike (my neighbor) the blown ones for free, then mike sent them in for warranty and got new ones.. pretty legit, huh? This is the optimal design for the X Con 18. My BTL 18 is going to be going into it. I got the design from the site here, thanks SSA! I've still got a lot of sanding to do. I did all of this last weekend. I'll be finishing it up this weekend. I've still got a lot of wiring to do. I've got a 270 amp Mechman alternator to put in. I've got 50 foot of 1/0, which I'm hoping will be enough. I think I'm going to use my starting battery I've got, a Napa 70 series or something, I'll have to look at the specs and post if anyones interested. I've got a big Wal-Mart brand battery with dual terminals I'm going to put in the back. I'll probably eventually get some better batteries once…
