so i finally got the kicker sold and am now saving up for new subs. but in the mean time i figured i would redo the setup with my old (and first sub) pioneer pro 10". the old box was built to factory specs, but unfortunately later on i found out it was tuned to 60hz or something crazy like that. i used to have the ssf set at 35 from what people would say and i always got stinky coils. so i cut the top off the box, knocked the ghetto fab round port i made of mdf off, and slid a few pieces of walls in to make a port. lol but this baby has still held up strong since october last year and is now even better!! the box now is about 1.6 cu.ft. tuned to around 34-35hz with kerfed…

Sorry if some pics are out of focus the camera kind of sucks. got the run of 0 gauge under the driver seat and once the aq 4x90 gets here i can make my bracket to set the aq's on and build a box for my box where the aq is sitting right now. custom bracket made of diamond plate holding the knu 200a fuse knu battery terminal for up to 3 0 gauge wires. Maybe one day! the optima and 0 gauge knu the 5 1/4 alpines the stock location for some 5x7's but i f'ed up and bought 6x9'…

Also bought lowering springs and made new front bumper for summer. On 26th march i am going to fix rust on car and repaint it. So let's get into sound... What …

  18. OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

Ok the box was started today, but had to be started later in the afternoon because the installer/builders friend was in a car accident at 3 am yesterday so I told him to take his time and when he feels ready to start on his time. So this is the progress so far. I will be getting one more gallon of resin and order a roll of 19 oz glass mat for the bracing. I am going above the window line as you all can see. I will be triple baffling the face and doubling the MDF all the way around. This thing is a beast. With one baffle the height is about 24 inches, the width is 48 inches and the length is 52 inches. Big as hell I know. lol so get ready this box is about to be beastly. I…
