It's been a while since I posted anything on here, been kind of busy and on c.a.f. Had to get rid of the cx-7, turbo went out at 25k and mazda wouldnt warranty it, so I traded it for an 08 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab. Had a baby on 18 Dec, Samantha Anne, 8 lbs even 20.5 inches long and gorgeous! On to some pics, the build is still in progress, so excuse the mess: Samantha approves!

After my break in, the false floor was contorted and would be a disaster to fix. On the plus side, this gives me a chance to redesign the box fixing the problems with the first one. To save space, this box will be sealed. It will be 2.3 cu.ft., ployfil-filled, and passenger side facing. Tomorrow I plan to get the wood and cut the boards up. My dead line is Saturday, as I move back to school on Sunday. From the rear of the vehicle, looking into the cab. The small box represents the battery and will be secured somehow. The "floor" extension is to secure the box from sliding/falling. From the passenger side at floor level. I will be returning the floor to stock.…

First off i would like to appolgize to Ant at Second Skin for taking so long in making a build log, the average 25 degree weather made it difficult. But never mind the complaining. I already have used the damplifer pro on my car already so i know this stuff is legit. I opened up my package and noticed it was the black foil. Had a slightly different smell compared to the regular silver foil (don't ask how i noticed). But anyways lets get started! Heres a couple pics of my car....

  15. This little build here is for a co-worker. He bought the old Hifonics equipment out of the van from me and plans on giving this truck to his son to drive in about a year or less. The system was designed on a fairly short budget, though he didn't want to cut many corners there's still almost $1,000 in it. Equipment consists of a Hifonics ZXi 6006 amp for the components, a Hifonics BXi2006D sub amp, a pair of 12" Hifonics Zeus subs, CDT COM-626 6.5" 2 way components and a JVC KD-HDR60 head unit. He purchased a "custom" enclosure from ebay for an easy fit under the rear seat. It's a sealed enclosure totaling 2.2cuft. net volume (according to the manufacturer) and he rai…

  19. I used to frequent this site quite a bit as a young basshead, but adulthood changes things as most of you probably know. I still have passion and love for bass and I'm excited to finally be able to put a system back in my car as I'll be driving a lot for my new job. I know the basics of car audio to an extent, but still need some help with some elementary questions and decisions. The plan is to install my 12" SSA GCON powered by a Sundown SAZ-1000D that I ran in my Jeep a few years ago in my current car which is a 2014 Accord. What I do need is a line out converter, a secondary battery, and wiring for the big three upgrade. Here's what it looks like in the trunk …

i have a '96 toyota t100 and was going to put two 12's in it but have no idea where i should put it. The back seat has no space under and i was wondering if it is at all possible to drop the bottom out just to where i could fit my speakers or if i just just put them under the driver and passenger seat.

Well, just to update, I went over to wobbly woofers and had them "tune" my amps (which they did by turning my gain from less than 1/2 way to 3/4.....so at 1/2 volume I was at 10v), so I was like whatever, they know what they are doing.....(I hope), and i asked to get metered on their tl. With the mic in the kick and my door open, I did 142.8 @ 30hz, with the volume 1/2 way and at 12.2v Needless to say, after I left, I went back and adjusted it the way I had it, which is louder and sounds better to me and I can turn up the volume to about 3/4 and still have 13.5v banging. I love these woofers, so crisp, clean and immense output! I wish I had more SSA products. I'm going to…
