The music travels to the back via a fiber optic cable and also via Ai-Net cable, where it's processed in an Alpine H701, and sent to five JL Audio amplifiers hidden under a false floor. This is the optimal design for the X Con 18. My BTL 18 is going to be going into it. I got the design from the site here, thanks SSA! I've still got a lot of sanding to do. I did all of this last weekend. I'll be finishing it up this weekend. I've still got a lot of wiring to do. I've got a 270 amp Mechman alternator to put in. I've got 50 foot of 1/0, which I'm hoping will be enough. I think I'm going to use my starting battery I've got, a Napa 70 series or something, I'll have to look at the specs and post if anyones interested. I've got a big Wal-Mart brand battery with dual terminals I'm going to put in the back. I'll probably eventually get some better batteries once…

Hi there, its bin a looong time since my last project so i wanted something new. got a new car and redid everything. setup so far.. 2 RF t20001bds 15 inch BTL fully loaded Hertz EP 2X Amp for Systems Radical Audio Reference 16.2 Systems Zenec LCD Headunit 2 Kinetik 1400s HO Alt Big 3 All 1/0 Gauge Audiocontrol Overdrive First thing was to pop the original 4 Cylinder 45hp Engine out and put the 6 Cylinder VR6 Engine in. What do you guys think would be best for 2 fi Bl 18" box wise. 26"H x 37"W x 30"D giving it 14 cubic feet 24"H x 36"W x 40"D giving it 17 cubic feet 24"H x 34"W x 45"D giving it 18 cubic feet I am going to be getting 2 AQ1200d for each sub. I want it to hit pretty hard. I will be posting up some pics of the build that will get chosen the most. Thanks!

So, I guess I should finally put this on here. First things first, my car was a theft recovery I picked up from my dad's work (he works for a local body shop) for $450. Just built this a few days ago...havin some power issues so I can't put it in the car quite yet, but here's the build. Hopefully someone can help me out here... as you all know, the edges are easy to clamp down so they don't move while you are screwing them in, but how do you do the port...my port kept moving like this. What I had to do, was just glue it down, and Silicon it until it dried, THENNNN i tipped the box on its side and screwed it down, but this kinda defeats the point of the glue then.. any techniques you guys could give me?? i never posted this when i first installed it all over a year ago. originally it was supposed too stay small, but that went out the window. so i will just post some of the older photos first just too give an idea of what it was. in the pics i show only one of many different sub stage setups. the original idea was the pdx 1200rms amp that put out rated from 2 to 4 ohms, so i could run at least one of every type of sub i have as i please. this is my ride this was the equipment. this was the most common sub stage i used with the pdx amp, it is a passive setup, i would rotate from the sdx15 pictured, an eclipse 3hp ti, or a tc3000. and this below is were it stands as of n…

whats goin on fellas. well im starting a build log for my ranger. im doing 2 15" IA flatlynes. i have a mtx 1501d to run them with which is 1800 watts. my plans are to do a sealed box walled off. i like the look of a wall, and i have room to spair. i cant find recommended enclosure sizes, so i was thinking 3CF sealed each????? idk... any suggestions?

Mechman was kind enough to custom machine a case including powder coating (Mechman Orange) and build me this alternator since it's a rare request for a hyundai santa fe. They had it built from scratch and shipped inside of two weeks! Anyways, a good friend of mine is a certified master mechanic and has some time on the weekend, so he is going to install this for me. It's in a really tough spot IMO, bottom front corner of the engine bay, and believe me, it's stuffed in there. On to the Pictures!

This is the start of my build log for my wife's 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. I have started receiving stuff in so as I get the stuff and get it installed I will include more pics. A little build we are doing at the shop, decided to take some pictures so here it goes. JL Clean sweep Two sets of JL C5 6.5" Coaxial Speakers JL HD 600/4 JL HD 1200/1 Two 10" JL W6v3 Here are a couple pictures of how the doors are looking, (I know about the deadner, We dont need that much but the customer already bought it before hand, and wanted me to use it all. Apart from that, any input is welcome, being an installer Im always looking to improve my work. Baffles are made from 1/2" mdf. More photos to come within the next few days.

Hi, after i got my new car i thought of building something small, possibly stealth... I found some pics of the same car as mine on the internet.. So i ordered a Dual 2 Fi SSD 10 some days ago and great surprise, i got mail :bigclap: (Thanks to BladeIce) I started building a little enclosure for the sub, about 1 cu @ 35 Hz... OEM integration: Enclosure Finished Wosk great, but it only plays the low notes nice, with high tones i have loud air tourbulences, but why??? Pleaaase help me!!
